Chapter 82 Fake Identity

The fiery full moon sank into the sea, and countless twinkling stars unveiled the veil of darkness. Before dawn truly arrived, the end of the abyss was shrouded in uncertainty.
Should we sink to the bottom of the sea, or indulge in wild fantasies?
Two girls, hand in hand, walked on the water's surface. Sensing something underwater, they suddenly stopped and began to transform little by little in the light.
One of the women grew wings on her back, while the other grew pointed ears.
"Where are you two going? I'm underwater, come and pull me out!" the captain shouted.
Elsa and Mia were like empty shells devoid of emotion, holding hands but not speaking.
Did they not hear? Not at all, their expressions were strange, like ghosts.
Suddenly, something pulled him up from the seabed and turned his body completely over.
The captain grabbed the object and looked at it closely, only to discover that it was Mia's alluring body.
"Oh! Oh! Oh! You've finally decided you want to be friends with me?"
The excited captain hugged her neck and brought his mouth close to hers.
But it felt like he was kissing something hard!
"Hey, you still claim to be straight, and this is how you repay your savior?"
The captain's eyes turned bloodshot when he saw the golem, and he was so frightened that he rolled off the haystack.
“It’s me, Billies. This is my double, Mark.”
At that moment, the real Mia came in from outside carrying an extinguished lamp. She was wearing a straw hat and had changed into an eco-friendly grass skirt.
"It's good to see you're alright, Captain." Mia didn't want to say another word to this guy. She turned around and said to the golem, "Aisha and I just came back from the camp ahead. Biris, you're right, this is probably the Naga's main camp."
"How many of them are there?" the golem asked.
"There are 800 Naga in each of the four camps in the east, west, south, and north. We happen to be in the south. In the nearest camp, there are a few guys with spikes on their necks. They have high magic resistance and can't be penetrated by light arrows. They might be a turtle species we've never seen before."
"You fought with them?"
"Luckily, Elsa was here. We even captured a prisoner. Would you like to take a look?"
Billis followed Mia out of the thatched hut.
The captain wanted to go out too, but suddenly felt an itch on his face, as if many insects were crawling on it.
So he hurriedly grabbed the slipping silicone mask and ripped it off.
He revealed his true colors in the deserted thatched hut.
Hearing a hoarse hissing sound coming from outside, they quickly determined that the one they had captured was a male Naga.
He carefully locked the door from the inside, used magic to light a nearby brazier, hung the silicone lifelike mask on the fire to dry, and by the time it was almost dry, he had already found the necessary clay in the thatched hut.
Using clay instead of silicone to create a lifelike mask is very difficult, but not impossible. With a little magic control, an identical mask can be made.
Fearing being seen, he cast an invisibility spell on himself that lasted for ten minutes.
Making a new mask only takes ten minutes, so you can use that time to observe your surroundings carefully.
He carefully opened the window and saw that the shore was piled with small banana-shaped boats, which could only carry one person but required the strength of three or four people to pull them into the sea.
Those are barbarian ships.
A little further to the left, you can see Elsa stealing fruit. The fruit is a very dark color, which might mean it's poisonous, but Elsa doesn't care at all, as if she has an immunity to poison.
A little to the right, there are Biris and the female elf he has long admired.
A strong male Naga was bound by a rope of light. Every time Biris asked a question, it hissed twice, making it impossible to understand.
Mia, on the other hand, seemed like a translation expert, explaining things to Billis sentence by sentence.
He was itching to leave, but he couldn't leave the room until the lifelike mask was finished.
Through the conversation outside, he vaguely heard a few words: queen, priest, islands, supporter, Leviathan.
The clay absorbs heat and is shaped into a mask. Then, magic softens and shapes it, and a new skin is completed.
Secure the mask firmly to your face, pinching it tightly against your cheeks, bridge of your nose, and temples.
He became the captain again.
Pushing open the door, everything became bright. The captain couldn't open his eyes at first, and his face felt itchy from the sunlight, but it would get better soon.
Two voices reached his ears: the voice of a male Naga and the voice of Mia, both of which were only five steps away.
"Hiss, hiss, hiss."
He said, "Don't expect to get close to the Queen."
"Hiss hiss hiss~~~~"
"You will never be able to leave here, as every magical path will transmit information about the island to Lord Leviathan."
"Hiss! Hiss!"
"You only have one choice: to become prisoners, just like them."
Mia is translating.
The captain cautiously approached from behind, and the male Naga, seeing another person approaching, fell silent.
The sand here smells ancient, the waves crash one after another, there are many reefs nearby, and mountain-like structures block the wind's path.
Seabirds kept flying out of the cave, their wings echoing incessantly.
A powerful force is pulling the island from below, as if to tear it apart.
Upon closer inspection, this male Naga is different from the Naga who previously occupied the coast.
He looked like a very formidable character, with a chin as fierce as a fist, pointed lips, a long chin, wild eyes, and blue fins covered with needles sharper than swords.
Ordinary reincarnated beings are no match for this kind of creature. Whether it is degeneration or evolution, it must have lived on an island for many years, isolated from the world.
The golem of Biris was not afraid of pain. It grabbed the fins of the Naga and broke off the scales one by one.
That guy's pain receptors were probably all located in his fins. It felt like someone was pulling out his bones one by one, his face twitching and contorting, and finally, he smelled a disgusting stench and spat out green pus from his mouth.
He died.
"Biris! You killed him!"
"Ah, I just wanted to ask a few more questions, I didn't know that scales were so important to the Naga."
The captain actually hoped that the two partners would argue a bit more, so that he could take the opportunity to win Mia's favor.
However, there are still many things that need to be addressed.
The captain asked, "Where are we? What have you found out?"
Biris replied, "In a place that doesn't even show up on a map, many islands appeared overnight, probably caused by an underwater earthquake. These islands are likely the Naga's stronghold, with a Naga priestess in charge of each island."
"I recall that the furthest sea area we've explored so far is Wa State Port. Could it be that we've already reached sea areas even further than Wa State Port?"
“Vascourt is gone, Captain. The whirlpool we see is Vascourt.”
"It sank?"
"Yes, it's like being swallowed by a creature; there's no one else but it."
"So, did you find out the exact location of Leviathan?"
"I tried to pry this guy's mouth open, but unfortunately, only the priests on the island maintained contact with Leviathan."
"This sounds like both good news and bad news."
"Yes, the good news is that we can finally find Leviathan, the bad news is that the priest won't tell us."
"Force won't work either, is that right?"
"As you can see, it's highly unlikely to work. The Naga would rather die for the Lord of the Ocean. Even if we capture the priest, he certainly won't speak."
The howling wind rushed in, along with seawater, splashing onto the captain's face.
The captain seemed to suddenly wake up, and his spirits lifted considerably.
A brilliant idea immediately popped into his head.
"I know what to do. There's no need for fighting; I'll just use my special agent skills."
"What's a good idea?"
"Have you ever encountered mirror magic? It's when it mimics our appearance as a Naga. I happen to know some spells like that, but it can't be maintained for too long."
Billis had encountered it once before, and the mirror magic impressed him greatly; he expressed great interest in it.
So the captain gathered everyone together and devised a whole plan for infiltration.
Aisha, who is skilled in large-scale ice magic, does not need to infiltrate; she is responsible for the outer perimeter of the camp.
The other three disguised themselves as male Nagas.
After encountering the real priest, the captain uses a bewitching spell on her, allowing Mia, with her extremely high combat agility, to disguise herself as the priest and distract him.
Like ripples created by a pebble thrown into a calm lake, Billys grew to admire the captain.
If he wasn't mistaken, he felt that the captain must have a very prestigious position in the Hero Alliance.
As for the captain himself, he had already devised another plan in his mind.
