Chapter 81 The End of the World

A very worthwhile white building to see, it looks like a lighthouse, and if it weren't tilted, it would probably be ten stories tall.
Seawater washed away the remaining parts, and the building itself was still burning.
Perhaps due to the receding tide, smooth reefs were exposed on the sea, looking like rows of bird and animal droppings.
The captain and Billy climbed onto the collapsed exploration platform, where there was only enough space for the two of them to stand back to back.
"Hey, why don't you go check over there? Why are you pushing me?"
Billy tried to shake off the captain, but the guy scurried around to the front like a gibbon.
There was a raised artificial step in front, where a large group of trout were rolling around in the water, vying for food. The larger ones would even leap out of the water. The largest one weighed as much as eight kilograms. When it leaped out of the water, the three-masted sailboats moored on the water were shaken.
A panel about the same height as itself fell down, slammed into the water, and chased the fish away.
However, they immediately swam back, mouths agape, waiting for food.
"Why would trout that live along the coast appear in the deep sea?" Billis asked.
The captain, however, laughed at him relentlessly: "Because the trout living on the shore are all male, they've been attracted by the females."
Are you laughing at me for lacking common sense in this area?
"I think you are that female trout."
"This joke isn't funny at all. Look around the platform, aren't there more and more fish?"
Indeed, there weren't this many fish when they first arrived at the platform.
Many moth-like black dots appeared in the azure sea. Some of these dots suddenly grew larger, snatched away trout, and leaped out of the water.
They use their white backs to perform hunting shows under the ship's side.
The captain, standing at the very front, had a clearer view than the others, and an unnatural look of tension crossed his face.
"Get back to the ship right away! Be quick!"
The exploration platform sank completely, as if it had been swallowed by something.
A huge, majestic sea creature emerged from the water, its entire body covered in a hard shell, and its head and toes covered in red eyes.
As it sank, the area where the exploration platform was located became a whirlpool, littered with the sailors' worn clothes and trousers.
At the same time, a bird with unusually large wings appeared from the clouds. When it first appeared, it was only the size of a small black dot, and then it swooped down towards the two of them.
Mia drew her bow and shot an arrow into the winged bird's belly.
The large bird shook its wings, hovered above the mast for a while, then suddenly lost its balance and fell into the water.
The strange whirlpool reappeared, and a monster covered in ring-shaped teeth emerged from beneath the water with its large mouth, swallowing the winged bird whole.
The cannons on the warships roared to life, blasting the sea surface, and some of the shells had a noticeable effect.
The strange fish retracted its mouth and sank very quickly.
Just when everyone thought the storm had passed, the ship was suddenly struck violently by something, followed by several more blows, and half of the muzzle-loading cannons slid off the side sail deck.
A large, diamond-shaped creature floated to the surface.
Its back is the part of this guy that he is most proud of, like a small island that rises out of thin air from the seabed, carrying sailboats and warships forward.
"Leviathan!"
Just as Billy was about to summon Mark, the captain said, "I'm afraid it's just one of Leviathan's henchmen."
Where is it taking us?
"Never heard of the ocean graveyard? All sorts of strangely shaped giant fish often appear there, and any ship, whether it's a pointed-bottom ship or a troop transport, will sink if it goes there."
"Are we supposed to abandon ship?"
"This boat is mine, it won't get away with it! Hey pretty lady over there, can you do me a favor?"
The captain called Mia.
Mia didn't know why the captain chose her instead of Elsa.
"You know light magic, right? Come on, try aiming a holy light bullet at the monster fish's shell."
Mia suspected that the captain was trying to take advantage of her, but she had no proof.
Holy Light is a basic spell, not even enough to pose a threat to the Naga. However, she still used it to deal with the captain.
The captain was smiling as he smelled Mia's hair when suddenly, an unbelievable scene unfolded.
The holy light bullet transformed into a small sun and slammed down on the monster fish's head.
The fish monster's head was affected by the impact, and it gradually slowed down.
"One more time!"
As the second Holy Light missile was launched, Mia finally heard the captain chanting a spell in her ear.
It was a spell that only druids could understand, several levels higher than Mia's magic.
The second Holy Light Bullet miraculously transformed into a meteorite, which could automatically seek its target and accurately struck the monster fish's most vulnerable organ—its eye.
The seawater turned red, it let out two howls, and sank.
“What did you just do to my magic?” Mia asked.
The captain teased, "A successful mage needs to know how to combine, but I'm not talking about that kind of combination, I mean the combination of spells."
"Have you visited the elders of the forest?"
"Oh, oh, oh, I'm self-taught, believe it or not."
As the captain spoke, he put his arm around Mia's waist from the side.
Mia grabbed the captain's arm and threw him onto the deck.
The captain simply lay there, stretching out his limbs, and said with a grin, "Ah, I thought we could develop into that kind of friend."
"Become that kind of friend to the statue on the prow of your ship."
The captain, as if he had accomplished something great, relaxed and whistled. He seemed to enjoy being thrown, and even while lying there, he could take a few more glances at Mia's lower body.
However, they were not out of danger yet.
The monsters in the sky and the sea did not leave; they watched from a very far distance, as if afraid of something.
Mia had gone far away, so the captain had to get up and frantically roll up the sail to hold it in place, then pull the lower end of the sail toward the stern.
At this moment, the rudder was drawing in a lot of wind, and the stern suddenly turned to the windward side.
Unfortunately, the sail suddenly shattered, as if lightning had struck from the sky.
The captain had no choice but to take down the boom, untie everything on it, and then pull the ropes on the ship's handle to change course.
Ten minutes later, the wind direction changed.
The captain re-hoisted the mainsail and untied the swivel rope and air supply line on the windward side, while the swivel rope on the leeward side was tightened ahead via the windward rollers, and then the upper and lower corner ropes of the stern were pulled over to face the wind.
He displayed professionalism in front of everyone.
However, the sailboat still veered far off course. The wind had no effect on the sails, and it seemed as if something in the center of the deep sea was attracting the sailboat.
Although Billis wasn't a sailor, he was very clear-headed about why the sea monster wouldn't chase after him.
Because what comes before is even more terrifying.
"Everyone, prepare for battle. I suspect there's a terrifying behemoth waiting for us ahead," the captain ordered in a commanding tone. "I've been wondering, even though we're sailing with the wind at our backs, the ship has been sailing against the wind the whole time. Why haven't those monsters come after us? Why haven't even the big birds in the sky dared to look this way?"
"This time it really is Leviathan!" Beris's forehead was covered in sweat.
"Beris! Don't be afraid! I'll go scout ahead first!" Aisha flew into the air, seeing further. "Beris! Beris! Beris! It's all blurry ahead, but I can sense it's not a monster!"
What is that?
Foam rose on the sea surface, and Aisha said something else.
However, the force of the seawater was too great, drowning out Aisha's voice.
Billy asked Aisha twice what she had seen, but when he tried to speak, he found that he couldn't even hear his own voice.
The sky was cloudless, so there was no possibility of a storm, yet the ships were out of control, moving forward at a speed faster than the wind.
The sea is spinning, the sky is spinning, and the sounds are spinning along with it.
The captain choked on several mouthfuls of seawater and could barely stand.
Through the fog, we finally saw that the entire island had disappeared.
The waterfall-like structure seemed to represent the end of another world, where the sky and sea seemed to fall from the bottom, and nothing could swim back from the whirlpool.
"Please hold me tight!"
The sound of the sea was sharp and loud, and no one could hear clearly who had just shouted.
The whirlpool before my eyes was simply unbelievable. Accompanied by the deafening roar of the falling seawater, the sorrowful and desperate screams were all sucked into the abyss, but a faint light lingered in that tiny spot.
It was the most brilliant and magnificent thing in the universe; it took less than two seconds for it to fall from the sky and then take off again.
