Chapter 13 Unreasonable

When Granny Yun heard that her work points were going to be deducted, she felt as if her life was being taken away, and immediately lay down on the ground and started throwing a tantrum.
They lamented that God was unfair and bullied honest people.
This was quite an eye-opener for Yunxi, who was listening from the side. She really wanted to tell Old Lady Yun that God was too busy to hear her complaints.
Captain Yun simply ignored her outburst. He'd seen plenty of village women throwing tantrums; it was a basic skill for them, so he could remain unfazed.
“If you keep causing trouble, I’ll deduct more work points from you. If you think you have enough work points at home, then keep causing trouble.”
The old woman, who had been lying on the ground making a ruckus, suddenly became like a duck with its neck choked, and dared not make a fuss anymore.
Yunxi thought Grandpa Yun was really amazing; he calmed down the nagging old woman Yun with just a few words.
It seems I need to learn more from him and become exceptionally capable, so that people won't think I'm easy to bully just because I live alone.
Seeing that Granny Yun had stopped causing trouble, Captain Yun turned to Yun Xi, who was standing obediently to the side, and said, "Yun Xi, you need to be more assertive in the future. If anyone comes to cause you trouble again, just like you did this time, pick up a stick and hit them hard. Let's see if they dare to cause you trouble again next time."
Doesn't Captain Yun know that it's wrong to teach children to hit people?
Of course he knew, but he felt that for an orphan girl living alone, she had to be so fierce in order to protect herself.
Although these relatives will help, there will always be times when they can't do it. Once a person stands up for themselves, they don't have to worry about being bullied.
Yunxi quickly nodded, because that was her plan too.
She had already figured it out the moment she took out the stick: even if she was new here, there was no need for her to live such a stifling life.
Although she may not know or understand many human habits, she knows that as long as she doesn't suffer losses, that's enough.
How reasonable can you expect a fairy who has turned into a human?
Don't even think about it.
Captain Yun saw that Granny Yun didn't say anything, but just lay on the ground acting like a spoiled child, so he ignored her and prepared to go back.
"You two should go back too, I'm about to go back as well."
Then the three of them went home, leaving Old Lady Yun lying on the ground, still acting like a spoiled child.
Old Lady Yun lay on the ground for a while, and when she realized that no one paid any attention to her and everyone had left one by one, she finally got up from the ground with her thick skin, dusted herself off, and waddled back home.
He cursed under his breath, thinking to himself, "That damned girl Yun Zhaodi actually dared to use me as a pawn. I'll teach her a lesson when we get back."
And that brat Yunpandi, since she dared to fool me with her sister, she won't be eating tonight.
Such a disobedient brat, she'll be fine after a few more meals of hunger.
After giving Old Lady Yun a good beating, Yunxi felt as if her whole body had relaxed and she felt refreshed.
The only thing that bothered her was that the stick she had just found wasn't very good. She planned to bring a machete with her when she went up the mountain tomorrow, and then cut two really good sticks. She would keep one at home and the other in her spatial storage, so she could just grab the tool when she needed it.
Just thinking about it is amazing. As a fairy, you should live this kind of life where you fight back if you don't agree.
Since there was no more excitement to be seen at the entrance, Yunxi quickly moved the mushrooms from her basket under the eaves, where they had already been baking in the sun for a while.
If she was so happy when she first found so many mushrooms, she is now in so much pain when she's stringing them together.
There are just too many mushrooms in the space. Even if you strung them together non-stop for a month, you might not be able to finish them all.
Fortunately, it's fine to leave it in the space. I can wear it when I have time, and leave it when I don't. I don't have to worry about it getting damaged.
Yunxi walked through the mushrooms until sunset. Under the eaves, a dense row of mushrooms had already hung, leaving only a path for people to pass through. The rest of the area was already covered with mushrooms.
At this moment, she felt a great sense of accomplishment. She was incredibly proud that a fairy like herself could do so much work.
Seeing that the sun had already set outside, and thinking of all the vegetables in the yard, I decided to take advantage of this time to pick them and store them in my space.
Yunxi felt that she was clearly a peach blossom tree spirit, but for some reason, she had awakened the attributes of a hamster and wanted to hoard all kinds of things.
However, she was still quite happy, slowly filling her empty space with more and more things. Although it might be unrealistic to fill it completely, she was still quite happy to have more things in it.
The vegetables in the backyard are ripe and plentiful. Although we may not have planted a lot of each one, since there are only the grandfather and grandson in the family, we haven't planted too many, but there are quite a variety.
Eggplant, green beans, peppers, water spinach, loofah, pumpkin...
Yunxi picked all the edible ones and left the older ones hanging, since most people in the countryside save their own seeds and rarely buy seeds from seed shops.
Yunxi had never tasted any of the vegetables before, so looking at the fresh vegetables she had picked, she decided to cook a meal according to her grandmother's cooking methods, just like she remembered, and see if they were really that delicious.
She hesitated a bit when she looked at the chili peppers. Chili peppers are usually dried or chopped into chili sauce. She didn't know if eating chili peppers on their own was good.
I'm a little bit tempted to try fresh chili peppers and see if they taste good.
However, looking at the other vegetables that hadn't been picked yet, I decided to postpone it for now and try it later when I've finished my own work.
By the time all the ripe vegetables had been picked, it was already dark.
However, Yunxi could still see what was happening outside, and she was no longer surprised by these changes.
Taking advantage of the darkness, I stored all the vegetables into my spatial storage before returning from the backyard.
Rubbing her rumbling stomach, Yunxi thought for a moment and decided to stir-fry some mushrooms and green beans to make do with that.
After this period of time is over, I must taste the flavor of meat.
I found the family's grains in the kitchen. There was a cabinet inside, and everything was locked up. There wasn't much refined grain, only a few pounds.
