"Hey, the deer's footprints, hey, it hasn't gone far, it's just ahead."

Li Jianshe made a few hand gestures, then lowered his voice and quickly gave the order.

"Licheng, you take some men and flank from the left! Yu Hao, Weidong and Weiguo, the three of you guard that opening in the mountain pass, don't let it escape!"

Yu Hao and Zhao Weiguo crouched low and quickly ran to the designated location. His heart was pounding wildly, not out of fear, but out of excitement.

Not long after, a rustling commotion came from the woods.

Yu Hao lowered his voice and said excitedly, "They're here! They're here!"

A fat, silly deer darted out of the woods in a panic, heading straight in their direction!

"Attack!" Li Jianshe shouted in a low voice.

"Bang! Bang!"

Two gunshots rang out almost simultaneously.

The foolish roe staggered forward a few steps, let out a mournful cry, and collapsed to the ground with a thud.

Blood splattered all over the ground instantly. Li Jianshe walked over quickly, grabbed some snow, and pressed it against the hole in the deer's body. The blood quickly froze and stopped flowing.

The villagers were very experienced and quickly cleaned up the blood on the snow. The stench of blood in the area needed to dissipate as soon as possible, otherwise it would easily attract large wild animals.

While tying up the roe deer, Li Jianshe praised, "Good lads! Yu Hao, Zhao Weiguo, your marksmanship is really good!"
