This method produces tender and flavorful ribs that fall off the bone easily, making them incredibly delicious with rice.

Shu Ying was very generous with the use of pork ribs. When the ribs were halfway through stewing, she added potatoes to them, and stewed them until they were very tender.

Although the shapes they came out of were rather ugly, thankfully they all tasted great.

When you eat it, just pour the sauce over it, and the taste is absolutely divine.

The rice is ready by then, with plump grains that look like they'll be soft and sticky, and taste especially sweet.

The two babies, who were sleeping inside, were instantly awakened by the aroma.

"Mom, what delicious food did you make? It smells so good!"

Yueyue and Yangyang toddled into the kitchen, clinging to Shuying's legs on either side, their big, dark eyes gazing at her expectantly.

Shu Ying couldn't help but smile, then urged them, "Go wash your hands and get ready to eat."

While feeding the two little ones, she deftly divided up all the soup and ribs.

It was packed in an insulated container in advance so that it could be given to Li Qingqing later.

The rest was eaten by myself and my two children.

At first, Yueyue and Yangyang were still thinking about the dining etiquette that Shuying had taught them.

Eat slowly and gracefully.

But as they ate, they couldn't help but let loose, and even complained that the chopsticks were in the way, so they started licking their hands after eating.

"Mom, this seems to be the first time we've ever eaten your cooking."

"I never imagined my mom was such a good cook! The food she makes is so delicious!"

"Yes, it's just as delicious as the fancy restaurants my grandparents used to take us to!"

Shu Ying held a handkerchief, looking at the two little ones' adorable appearance, her eyes softening.

She originally planned to take them to wash their hands first, and then clean herself up before coming back to eat.

But then I thought about it again and realized it wasn't necessary.

The Shu family is long gone. She is just an ordinary person now, so why should she be bound by those so-called rules?

It's best to teach children these etiquette rules gradually, before they feel pressured.

Yueyue and Yangyang are clearly two little foodies.

They're still quite young, but they already have their own insights into eating.

Without Shuying reminding them, the two babies knew to use spoons to pour the sauce from the braised pork ribs over the rice, saying it would taste better that way.

"Mom, you should eat more too."

"Mom has worked so hard taking care of us these past few days. You need to eat more and get some good nutrition so you can be nice and plump. Otherwise, the babies will feel sorry for you!"

Shu Ying couldn't help but chuckle and pinched the cheeks of the two little ones one by one.

"A clever little devil."

I have no idea where they learned these phrases from.

When they care about others, they act quite like proper adults.

They even said they'd fatten her up until she was plump and healthy.

Is this reasonable? She's not like them; she's one of two little pigs.

Yueyue and Yangyang knew that it wasn't easy for their mother to take care of them alone, so after dinner, neither of them complained about wanting to go out and play.

Instead, she obediently helped Shuying tidy up and then consciously returned to the living room, following her mother's instructions in everything.

After washing the dishes, Shu Ying came over to check on the situation and found that after playing with toys for a while, the two children started reading books on their own without their parents' prompting.

Although they couldn't read many words and it was very difficult for them, none of them suggested giving up.

They even flipped through the Xinhua Dictionary next to them with great interest.

Shu Ying felt gratified to see this scene.

Her two children really love learning.

It's truly remarkable that a child possesses such self-management skills and resilience.

After settling everything in the space, Shu Ying returned to the hospital.

When she went out, the police had already left for a while.

Shu Ying's eyes flickered slightly, and she walked directly over to the two middle-aged women chatting nearby to ask them for information.

"Auntie, were those police officers here to investigate the child abduction case?"

"I don't know how it's being handled. It's really worrying to have such a bad person in the hospital."

Shu Ying is beautiful and speaks in a gentle and soft voice. She has a scholarly air about her and makes people like her at first glance.

The older women didn't hide anything and immediately nodded in agreement;

"You bet we were terrified when we first heard about what happened at the hospital."

"Fortunately, the family whose child was stolen reacted in time, which prevented a major disaster. After the police arrived, they took the entire family of three who stole the child away."

"Otherwise, we'll always feel uneasy and won't dare to be hospitalized again."

It is known that not a single member of the Zhong family was spared.

Shu Ying finally felt relieved, knowing that they would definitely have to pay the price this time.

It would be too lenient for them to just be arrested and put in jail.

Such a vicious beast who deliberately steals children and destroys other people's families should be shot on the spot.

It would be a waste of air and land to keep living in this world; it's just annoying to look at.

After thanking the two elderly women, Shu Ying returned to her ward.

As soon as she pushed the door open, she saw Li Qingqing frowning unconsciously, clearly still recovering and in great pain.

"Qingqing, you look so pale. Are you still in a lot of pain? Don't worry, I'll call the doctor over now. A painkiller injection will make you feel much better."
