Sang Yuwan immediately got up and pressed the answer button.

"Madam." The urgent and tense voice was like the rumbling thunder in the night sky before a sudden rainstorm, booming and shaking every inch of the air.

"Where?" Sang Yuwan's brows furrowed slightly, her face calm. Her clear, cold voice carried an air of authority and power.

"Don't worry, Madam, I'm safe now," Minglang replied, somewhat evasively.

Sang Yuwan's gaze darkened slightly, her lips tightened, and she let out a low murmur, "Mmm."

Minglang added, "Madam, Qinghe Garden has been quite noisy lately, so it's not a good place to rest."

Sang Yuwan nodded silently. "Okay."

He Qiaoling held her breath.

Fang Yi looked at her with disdain and said sarcastically in a low voice, "People from the second wife's family just like to sneak around like this."

Upon hearing this, He Qiaoling's lungs throbbed, as if they were about to burst. "You're the ones who do it secretly!"

Fang Yi's eyes flickered, and she snorted coldly, "Hmph. You'll see soon enough."

He Qiaoling's heart raced with anger, her face flushed red and then pale. "You..."

Fang Yi rolled her eyes at her smugly.

Sang Yuwan hung up the phone and slowly turned around.

She stood against the light, her face half-hidden behind the light, which made her appear even more dignified.

He Qiaoling's breath caught in her throat, and her face paled slightly.

Perhaps feeling a little guilty, she looked at Sang Yuwan with a strange sense of fear.

Fang Yi was also a little nervous, but she appeared more composed than Fang Yi.

Sang Yuwan glanced at the two of them with a cold look in her eyes. "Third Aunt, continue."

"Yes," Fang Yi replied, then looked at He Qiaoling, "Second Sister-in-law, do you have any further explanation for what I just said?"

He Qiaoling's eyelids twitched, and two balls of anger leaped in her eyes. "What do I have to explain?"

She turned her gaze to Sang Yuwan and asked, "Does the head of the family always act based solely on one side of the story?"

Sang Yuwan strode briskly to the sofa, sat down, and leaned back slightly. She lifted her eyelids slightly and gave her a deep, enigmatic look. "Of course."

He Qiaoling loosened her clenched fingers slightly and said, "Fang Yi said I tipped off Young Master Shen, where's the evidence?"

Sang Yuwan raised an eyebrow slightly, a cold smile playing on her lips. "Second Aunt is right. Everything should be based on evidence."

Suppressing her panic, He Qiaoling looked at Fang Yi, her anger intensifying, "If you can't produce any evidence today, it's malicious framing."

Fang Yi chuckled softly, her voice as faint as a whisper, yet clearly conveying a sense of contempt and mockery. The laughter echoed gently in the air, like a sharp blade, silently cutting through the surrounding atmosphere.

He Qiaoling's heart tightened, her lips parted slightly, but no sound came out, as if an invisible force was choking her. She was panicked beyond measure.

Sang Yuwan frowned, her patience seemingly exhausted. "Enough with the nonsense. Let's begin."

Fang Yi stared at He Qiaoling, her piercing gaze sending chills down one's spine. "Patriarch, Xiao Wu from the second branch can testify that Second Brother has always had dealings with Young Master Shen."

He Qiaoling's breathing became rapid and shallow, as if there was not enough oxygen in the air, forcing her to open her mouth frequently.

"Xiao Wu?" Sang Yuwan was slightly taken aback. "He's a servant of the second wife's family. Why would he testify for you?"

Fang Yi hesitated for half a second before slowly saying, "Xiao Wu is actually Big Brother's man."

He Qiaoling's face changed drastically, and she looked astonished as if she had lost her soul.

Fang Yi raised her eyebrows smugly, "The eldest brother has always been wary of the second and third branches of the family, and has planted many spies among their servants."

Upon hearing this, Sang Yuwan's thin lips twitched almost imperceptibly.

He Qiaoling took two deep breaths, raised her hand to wipe the sweat from her forehead, and felt a cool sensation on her fingertips.

Bo Yuanshan's strategic skills and methods are unmatched by the combined abilities of Bo Yuheng and Bo Hanshan.

For so many years, he has suppressed his second and third wives in every way.

Bo Yuanshan quickly learned of any slight disturbance from the second and third wives' families.

After this happened several times, Bo Yuheng and Bo Hanshan became hesitant to act rashly.

They only began to take action slowly after Bo Yuanshan died four years ago.

Unexpectedly, Bo Yuanshan had planted spies in the second and third wives' households.

No wonder every time Bo Yuheng and Bo Hanshan were about to seize power, they always failed at the last minute.

He Qiaoling's heart raced, each beat like an uneasy drumbeat pounding in her chest, clashing with the tranquil atmosphere around her. Her breathing became heavy and rapid.

She took two deep breaths and asked in a hoarse voice, "How did you know that Xiao Wu was the eldest brother's spy planted in the second branch of the family?"

Fang Yi's lips curled slightly upward, her eyes almost narrowed into slits, and her face radiated an irrepressible sense of pride. Her teeth were slightly exposed, and a laugh followed.

She turned her gaze to Sang Yuwan, "Such an important matter should only be known by the head of the family."

Sang Yuwan's expression was calm, like a still autumn pond, undisturbed. Her deep eyes seemed to see through all things in the world, yet maintained a detached tranquility.

He Qiaoling's mind went blank for a moment.

The air in the hall fell silent instantly.

He Qiaoling stared at Sang Yuwan, her eyes wide with disbelief. Suddenly, her heart skipped a beat, and she realized, "Patriarch, it's you..."

Sang Yuwan's expression was cold and indifferent, and her thin lips parted slightly, "That's right, I was the one who informed the third branch of the family about this."

He Qiaoling suddenly realized what was happening, pointed at Fang Yi with her finger, her arm trembling slightly, "You...you...you actually..."

Fang Yi said smugly, "Second sister-in-law, a wise man knows when to yield. My husband and I figured it out a long time ago. Only you are stubborn and still thinking about seizing power."

He Qiaoling tried hard to concentrate, but found herself adrift on a vast ocean, surrounded by endless waves. She was just a lone boat, with nowhere to anchor.

She wanted to call Bo Yuheng, but the current situation clearly prevented her from doing so.

Sang Yuwan pinched the bridge of her nose, which was sore, and spoke again, "Second Aunt, I originally gave your second branch of the family a chance, but you didn't cherish it."

He Qiaoling opened her mouth, but something seemed to be pressing on her throat, and she couldn't make a sound.

Sang Yuwan continued, "This time, in order to collude with Shen Yilin, you actually plotted against your own niece."

Fang Yi's face flushed red, and anger flashed in her eyes again. "He Qiaoling, how cruel you are! You actually wanted to give Xinglan as a gift to Young Master Shen. You have children of your own, how could you do such a thing?"

He Qiaoling's fingers unconsciously intertwined, her knuckles turning slightly white from the force, revealing her inner tension and anxiety.

There are some things that don't need her to explain; Sang Yuwan must have already investigated them thoroughly and clearly.

She took two deep breaths and forced herself to say, "This was all done by my husband. I was just..."
