Chapter 161 The Banquet

Jiang Yilai nodded perfunctorily, opened the car door, and left.

As her car drove away, the smile on Li Luyao's face slowly disappeared.

He could tell that Jiang Yilai was not interested in his advances.

Sun Yufei looked at her resentfully: "These past few days you've been running off as soon as get out of class is over. We were going to go shopping for clothes together, but we haven't done it yet."

"Feifei, I'm sorry, I've been so busy lately."

"Are you free later? I'd like you to come with me to try on a dress." Sun Yufei coughed lightly, looking a little awkward. "I'm going somewhere tonight."

Jiang Yilai looked at her apologetically: "Fu Nanxiao said he would take me to a banquet today, and he asked someone to pick me up after class."

"Oh, I see." Sun Yufei was disappointed, but then she perked up: "How have things been between you and Fu Nanxiao lately? He's been picking you up from school these past few days."
