Chapter 1 Black Cherry with Blue Cat's Eyes: This black cherry is utterly despicable! ...

"Black cherry! Black cherry!"

Chinatsu Takanashi was awakened by the hoarse voice of a crow.

She woke up groggily to find a black crow with multicolored markings perched on her bedside table, pecking at her phone. It would peck once, crane its neck, and caw once more.

"Little Crow, stop fooling around." Takanashi Chika reached for her phone, glanced at it groggily, and then jumped out of bed in a panic, dressing and washing up in a flurry of activity.

I'm late! I'm late! I'm late!

She's going to be late on her first day of university!

As she ran out of the bedroom and grabbed the milk from the TV cabinet, she hurriedly greeted the half-long-haired young male ghost watching TV on the sofa.

Good morning, Hagiwara!

"Good morning~" The male ghost with violet eyes smiled at her.

Chika, the little bird, rushed out the door without stopping.

The TV was still on. Kenji Hagiwara floated to the door and called out worriedly, "Don't run too fast, be careful not to bump into something!"

"No—it won't—!" Takanashi Chika's echo drifted from afar.

In April, the spring river warms up and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

A pink cherry blossom sways in the wind and falls, its five petals intertwined, perfectly resembling a beautiful decoration in the center of a cherry blossom jelly.

Chinatsu Takanashi carried a blue-patterned shoulder bag in both hands, with a brown bear embroidered in the center that seemed to be standing on tiptoe and looking out. She hurried past pedestrians as if her feet were on fire, rushing toward school.

Japan isn't very big, and Takanashi Chinatsu, in particular, has always lived in Tokyo, so she's met a lot of people along the way.

"Good morning, Chinatsu-chan~" This was a girl who was quite close to Kotori.

"Good morning, Takanashi!" This is the elder who usually takes good care of Takanashi.

"We're going to be late, you idiot." That's a bad guy! A real bad guy!

A bicycle stopped in front of Takanashi Chinatsu. Yukito looked at her with clear eyes and a refreshing yet gentle smile: "Chinatsu-chan, would you like me to give you a ride to school?"

"You've been a huge help, Yukito!" Takanashi Chinatsu snatched Yukito's bicycle away.

Snow Rabbit stood to the side, looking somewhat awkward, but did not reach out to snatch it back.

"Chinatsu-chan?"

"Hey, isn't this a robbery?" the villain said from the side.

Takanashi Chinatsu never listens to bad guys, but she puts her hands together and asks Yukito, "Yukito, can I borrow your car?"

"Of course. How about..."

Before the words "I'll take you" were even out of her mouth, Takanashi Chika leaped onto the vehicle, pedaled furiously, and the wheels disappeared from Yukito's sight as if on fire.

"Ah..." A look of confusion flashed across Yukito's eyes.

Touya snorted coldly, grabbed Yukito and put him on the back seat of his car, then chased after Takanashi Chinatsu with all his might, yelling, "Don't run, robber!"

They chased each other, getting faster and faster, and when they entered the school gate, there were still more than ten minutes before the opening ceremony.

"How lucky I am!" Takanashi Chinatsu shouted happily, clenching her fist as she parked the car in the designated spot.

She has always been very lucky since she was a child.

If it rains when I go out, someone will always bring me an umbrella; if I wake up late, someone will always help me; I will always win a scratch card; and I have never made a mistake when guessing on exam questions!

She, Takanashi Chinatsu, is the daughter of Lady Luck!

"Hey, what's with all this talk of luck? You stole Yukito's car!" Touya parked his car next to Yukito's, pouting and saying unhappily, "Apologize to me, and then thank me!"

"Private Marseille, Yukito-chan! And thank you for the car!" Takanashi Chinatsu was incredibly efficient, immediately apologizing and thanking him. After doing all that, she didn't forget to go up to Yukito, poke his shoulder, and say, "Yukito, you're a very nice person, but remember to stay away from rude and disrespectful people in the future, or you'll be led astray."

"You're the one who's corrupting Yukito!" Touya raised his hand to punish her, but China quickly dodged it.

"Look how rude he is!"

"You're the rude one, robber!"

"Violent maniac!"

The two were bickering, and Snow Rabbit, watching from the side, suddenly burst into cheerful laughter.

Hearing the Snow Rabbit's loud laughter, the two stopped arguing and stared at the Snow Rabbit.

Snow Rabbit wasn't embarrassed at all. He grabbed one of their hands and placed them together, cheerfully trying to smooth things over: "You two are still the same. You've been arguing every time you meet since you were little. Make up quickly!"

The two reluctantly put their hands together. Takanashi Chinatsu grabbed Touya's hand and used her thumbnail to dig a "cross-shaped cut" into his palm.

Touya's face paled, but he stubbornly withstood the pinch, gritting his teeth and staring intently at her.

"Okay, we're made up." Takanashi Chinatsu withdrew her hand, her good mood restored.

"You're so petty," Touya muttered to himself.

There are so many things to do on the first day of university.

Chinatsu Takanashi quickly completed the enrollment procedures, managed to slip past the counselor's roll call, and secretly slipped out of the school while the principal was giving a long speech at the opening ceremony.

The principal's bald head reflected the sunlight, and his boring lines were so soothing that they made Takanashi Chinatsu and Vision Rum hold a meeting.

As expected, leaders' speeches are always just as boring!

After finishing her milk, Takanashi Chika squeezed the carton flat and threw it far into the trash can. She clenched her fist and shouted "Nice!" but turned around and bumped heavily into a solid chest.

His chest was hard, and his pectoral muscles were large.

The man's hands hung down, and he wore a dark blue hoodie. His wrists were fair and slender, covered with a thin layer of smooth muscle that disappeared into the sleeves.

Chinatsu Takanashi staggered slightly, but the man helped her stand up by supporting her shoulder.

"Watch where you're going."

His voice is also very pleasant, deep and magnetic, with a touch of warmth.

It is neither overly enthusiastic nor cold.

His face was also very handsome; the light stubble did not hide his good looks, but instead added to his ruggedness, making him look like a high-fashion brand advertising model.

When she smiled, her beautiful cat-like eyes became even brighter, as beautiful as sapphires immersed in ice, calm and clear.

Does it look familiar?

"Have we met somewhere before?" Takanashi Chinatsu pondered.

The young man with blue cat-eyes didn't make her think for long, and he smiled as he answered, "I have indeed seen him before. Half a year ago, on the streets of Shinjuku, you shot and broke my leg."

After he finished speaking, he used his hand, which was originally supporting Chinatsu Kotori's shoulder, to forcefully drag her into a deep, deserted alley.
