She gently pressed the piano keys, revealing a sharp blade inside...
Lin Han sneered and covered the cloth back up.
This Zhou Fei is even more ruthless than she imagined.
They actually wanted to cripple her hand with a razor blade.
Lin Han cursed Huo Qizheng in her heart, thinking, "What kind of weirdos is this deadbeat hooking up with?"
Someone was lying in a hospital bed, feeling an intense itch in their nose, wanting to sneeze but unable to.
Lin Han jumped out of the window in the dark and returned to the guesthouse late at night.
The next day was the military arts performance. Before Lin Han could even go to the hospital, Zhou Fei sent someone to call her away.
Huo Qizheng will have to stay with the nurse who is providing 24-hour care today.
When Lin Han arrived at the auditorium, Zhou Fei had already changed into her performance costume, a long, light blue classical dance dress with long, flowing sleeves.
Lin Han's performance outfit was an ordinary white dress.
White is inconspicuous and won't steal Zhou Fei's thunder. More importantly, the bloodstains on the white dress will be more noticeable, making it easier for her to embarrass herself in front of everyone.
Zhou Fei was willing to ruin her own stage performance just to make her suffer.
Lin Han changed her clothes and sat in front of the makeup mirror.
The makeup artists in the military arts troupe were busy doing makeup for their own performers, while everyone else did their own makeup.
Looking at the cosmetics that resembled paint from the 1960s, Lin Han hesitated to apply them to her face.
Zhou Fei has a dedicated makeup artist who, based on her blue outfit today, matched her with blue eyeshadow and created a very standard stage makeup look.
"Comrade Lin, I'm sorry, we're short-handed right now, so you'll have to do your own makeup."
Zhou Fei glanced at Lin Han, who nodded. "Mind your own business and don't worry about me."
Instead of putting on makeup, she pretended to have a stomachache and went to the toilet.
Then she entered the space and used the high-end cosmetics that Fangfang had sent her to apply light makeup.
Lin Han was naturally beautiful, with thick eyebrows without makeup, red lips without lipstick, fair skin, three-dimensional features, and excellent bone structure. She would look even more beautiful with just a little light makeup.
When she circled around to Zhou Fei's dressing table, Zhou Fei originally wanted to see her make a fool of herself, but unexpectedly she was amazed by Lin Han.
"You... Comrade Lin, is this your makeup? Makeup is very difficult to see on stage. If you wear it so lightly, it will be invisible as soon as you get on stage."
Compared to Lin Han's light makeup, Zhou Fei looked like a monkey's bottom.
She had deliberately put away all the pretty colors beforehand, leaving Lin Han with a bright red and green makeup palette. When she saw Lin Han walking over, looking as beautiful as a lotus emerging from the water, she was furious.
Lin Han wasn't fooled. "I'm just a supporting actor accompanying you. You can just put on more makeup. It's perfect that the audience can't see me, isn't it?"
Seeing that Lin Han had already said that, Zhou Fei felt it was inappropriate to persuade her otherwise, so she could only let her do as she pleased.
Anyway, the main event is yet to come; she'll get her comeuppance soon.
Zhou Fei finished her makeup and prepared to go to the waiting area. "Comrade Lin, stay close to me. Someone will help carry the piano up in a bit. When it's our turn, you need to sit in front of the piano and not move around before the curtain is drawn."
"Okay, you can go ahead now."
Zhou Fei noticed that Lin Han sounded impatient when she spoke to her, so she turned around and asked pitifully.
"Comrade Lin, I have a feeling you don't like me?"
Lin Han disliked the overly strong Biluochun flavor in her manner and gave her a cold shoulder.
"I really don't like you. You're not my husband, so why would I like you? Or do you like my husband?"
