The woman pulled Lin Han aside and introduced her to people.

"My husband is in a tank battalion, you can just call me Sister-in-law Wang."

That's your sister-in-law Zhang. Her husband is in the artillery company.

The woman embroidering next to her is Sister Li; she's come to visit her daughter, who is a nurse at the military hospital.

Lin Han greeted each of the women in her auntie's group and took out a few candies from her bag to share with them.

"Sister-in-law, this is something I brought from Shanghai. Please enjoy it."

The group was a little embarrassed. "How can we accept your things? No, no, please take them back."

When Lin Han went to the department store, she saw it for sale and bought it to do a favor.

The walls of the room were grayish-white, with the lower half painted green. Two quotations from Chairman Mao and a military-themed propaganda poster hung on the wall.

The cement floor was cleaned very well.

When Lin Han went upstairs, she saw that there was a public restroom on each floor, and the hot water supply schedule was posted on the wall.

It was much better than she had imagined.

She only needs to buy some daily necessities such as soap and towels.

Actually, she had all these things in her space; they were sent to her by Fangfang from the 21st century.

But in order not to arouse suspicion from others, she decided to go downstairs to ask Sister Wang to take her to buy it on the spot.

At noon, Sister Li's daughter brought her lunch from the military hospital canteen.

He Jingjing returned to the guesthouse carrying an aluminum lunchbox.

Sister-in-law Li told her about seeing Huo Qizheng's wife downstairs today.
