"Brother, what time is it...?"

"It's almost lunchtime, wake up and clear your head so your head won't hurt later..." Lu Qingfeng pinched her cheek and wiped her face to help her wake up.

"Hmm, is it that late? Did you call your aunt today...?" He Caiwei had just woken up when her face was wiped, making her feel much more awake.

“I called her this morning when I went to cancel my leave. She said she wanted to come here for the New Year this year, and I think she probably wanted to see if she could go there. My dad’s schedule is uncertain, after all, he was still working overtime during last year’s Spring Festival…” Lu Qingfeng felt a headache just thinking about his dad’s work. Sometimes, if they didn’t go back to Dayuan for the New Year, it was really hard for them to reunite.

Hearing that it was almost noon, she quickly tried to get up. Perhaps because she had slept for too long, she felt a little dizzy and almost fell off the bed. Fortunately, Lu Qingfeng was sitting next to her and quickly pulled her back into his arms.

"Slow down, are you dizzy? Sit down, I'll get you some water, wake yourself up before you get up." Lu Qingfeng picked him up and went out to bring in a basin of warm water.

In fact, He Caiwei had already gone back to her room to brush her teeth and wash her face while he was out.

"Brother, what time did you get up this morning..." He Caiwei washed her face and hands with Lu Qingfeng's help, and did not forget to ask him what time he got up this morning. He clearly went to bed later than her last night, so how could he get up so early?

"I got up at six o'clock..."

"Brother..." He Caiwei was quite surprised that he had gotten up at six o'clock...

Looking at those pink lips, Lu Qingfeng couldn't help but lower his head and kiss them.

"Um... Brother..."

Upon hearing that soft, delicate voice, Lu Qingfeng became even more uncontrollable.

He Caiwei wore a light pink silk slip dress last night. These were all fabrics from the room, which her mother designed and made herself.

She didn't change when she went back to wash up, which made things convenient for her brother.

Lu Qingfeng was very nervous. Having lived for over twenty years, he had never been exposed to this kind of thing before. When he lifted his nightgown, he was completely stunned, and his entire face and neck turned red.

Seeing his helpless look, He Caiwei really wanted to laugh. Although she had never done such a thing, she had lived in the era of information explosion and, even if she hadn't eaten pork, she had seen pigs run.

“Brother…” He Caiwei was already furious. She pushed him down, climbed on top of him, and, without any fear of death, lightly bit his Adam's apple.

Then she paid a heavy price for that one bite; she couldn't even leave her bedroom until dinner.

He Caiwei never expected that her brother, who seemed like such an innocent young man, would be so fierce; she almost couldn't get out of bed.

The funniest part was that he couldn't find the door at first...

When He Caiwei woke up again, she found that it was already dark outside. She took out a watch, looked at it, and found that it was past 8 p.m.

Only a dim yellow desk lamp was on in the room, and next to the lamp was a glass of pale yellow water, which was probably honey water.

He Caiwei struggled to sit up, but just as she was about to pick up the water gate, it was pushed open.

"Weiwei, you're awake. Do you want some water? I'll get it for you. You can lie down for now..."

Lu Qingfeng had come to check on her for the fourth time and finally saw that she was awake.

When the main light was turned on, He Caiwei saw her brother's face turn bright red again. After he turned around and closed the door, he quickly ran to the bedside to pick up her water glass, picked her up, and brought the water glass directly to her lips.

"Here, have a glass of water first. I made some honey water in the kitchen. Auntie also cooked some porridge, which I'll bring to you later. There are also some wontons, which Auntie made this afternoon." Lu Qingfeng looked at the bluish-purple marks on the girl's neck and chest, and his words were a little hesitant.

“Brother, let’s not have children for now…” He Caiwei’s body is only 18 years old now. She feels like she’s still a little baby. She’s afraid she won’t be able to take good care of another child.

“Okay, what do we do? I didn’t use that thing today…” Lu Qingfeng agreed, but he didn’t know how to do it. He didn’t know where to get the thing his uncle had told him about.

"I don't need that stuff, I have medicine that one pill can last me a year."

"Every medicine has some degree of toxicity; you can't just take it randomly." Lu Qingfeng was a little worried that the medicine might harm her body.

He doesn't mind suffering a little himself, but he doesn't want to see the young girl suffer.

"It's okay, we only eat it once a year. We need to tell our parents about this, so they don't worry that something might happen to us." He Caiwei knew that many parents in this era hoped that their children would have children immediately after getting married, so he needed to talk to his parents and aunt first.

"It's nothing. I think Mom slipped something to me on my wedding day. I've been so busy these past few days that I completely forgot about it. I need to check what Mom slipped to me. She told me herself that we should have children later, I remember that." After taking care of the young girl, Lu Qingfeng went to the wardrobe to rummage for the package his mother had slipped to him on his wedding day.

A small, unremarkable, gray package contained a book and two boxes. For some reason, he felt it was better not to let the little girl see the book, so he stood by the wardrobe and opened it.

After flipping through only two pages, his face suddenly turned bright red, and he quickly closed the book and stuffed it under his clothes.

He glanced at the instructions on the two boxes, rewrapped them, found a secluded corner in the wardrobe, and after making sure the little girl wouldn't find them, he stuffed the items away and closed the wardrobe.

"Brother, why is your face so red? What did Auntie put in your mouth? What's with that expression..." He Caiwei looked at her brother's ever-changing face and his nervous expression, and began to guess what Auntie had put in his mouth.

"No, it's nothing. Wait a moment, I'll get you some porridge and wontons..."

Lu Qingfeng ran away as if fleeing. He Caiwei couldn't get up yet, so she couldn't see what her brother had hidden in the closet or why he had that expression.

While He Caiwei was eating, her brother went to organize the things they had brought from Hong Kong.

I was supposed to tidy it up when I got back at noon today, but I forgot about it because of that other thing.

The two little brats came back at noon and didn't see their older brother. Their parents wouldn't let them come to this yard, so they had no choice but to give up.

It wasn't until dinner time that they saw their older brother start making a fuss.

His unscrupulous uncle didn't help at all, so he had to rush back to his room to grab a bag of chocolates to shut the two brats up.

He also specifically mentioned that Weiwei had packed all those things, and since Weiwei was still sleeping, he didn't know how to pack them up and would have to wait until Weiwei woke up.

These two little brats listen to their older sister the most. As soon as they heard that everyone was still resting, they didn't dare to cause any trouble.
