Chapter 3 Looting

With these foundations in place, Qu Weiwei didn't hold back at all. She directly put all the boxes and cabinets back into her spatial storage, and thoroughly searched the entire underground secret room, leaving not a single hair behind.
Still not giving up, they kept knocking and tapping on the walls, only to discover that they were solid, and then they finally came out from inside.
Looking at the books on the bookshelf, and the writing brushes, inkstones, paper, and fountain pens on the desk, she didn't hesitate to take everything, leaving nothing behind. She didn't even bother with the bed and the quilt, simply putting them into her spatial storage. Anyway, if she didn't need them, she could sell them; resources were scarce these days, and these things were worth a lot of money.
Qu Weiwei is probably not even a meter tall yet, but this bookshelf goes all the way to the top, so she can't reach the top shelves. However, she may be small, but she's quite resourceful. She stacked all the chairs in the room on top of it.
The furniture and decorations in this room were all quite valuable, so Qu Weiwei didn't stand on ceremony and cleaned them up completely, just like in the secret room, leaving not a single thing behind.
She carefully left the study. Next to the study seemed to be a bedroom, but she didn't know whose bedroom it was. The layout was similar to her aunt's room, but there were many gold jewelry pieces on the dressing table.
After looking around, Qu Weiwei found that no one was in the room, so she cleaned up everything in the room. Because of her ruthless nature, she discovered that there was a secret room under the bed, just like the one in her father's study.
Qu Weiwei searched the room for the secret room's mechanism like a headless fly. After all, she had already looted everything in the room, so if there really was a connecting mechanism, it wouldn't have been so easy for her to put it back into her space.
She kept turning left and right, not knowing where she stepped, when suddenly she found that the door to the secret room was open.
Qu Weiwei waited for about 5 minutes before cautiously entering the secret room. This secret room was different from her father's dark secret room. There seemed to be something shining inside, illuminating the entire secret room.
However, what she saw were two skeletons, which startled her.
Although she lives in an era of information overload, this was the first time she had ever seen such genuine bones.
After calming herself down, she continued walking inside. The bodies had turned to bones, and she had no idea how long they had been dead. So, as she walked, she comforted herself, telling herself not to be afraid. At worst, she could take the things away later and give the two people a proper burial.
Qu Weiwei calmed herself down, looked at the dozens of large boxes stacked behind the two skeletons, and carefully walked over. She used the corner of her clothes to cushion her hands, opened one of the boxes, and the golden color inside almost blinded her 24K titanium eyes.
The entire box was filled with large yellow croakers, and behind these boxes were some wooden crates that looked a bit like the weapon crates in TV dramas.
I tried to open it, but because I was too weak, I couldn't open the wooden box even after sweating profusely. I decided to give up and put it all into my space to deal with later.
After collecting all the boxes, I poured a box of gold onto the warehouse floor in my spatial dimension. I used this box to cover the two skeletons on the ground and placed them on the other side, waiting to find a beautiful place outside to bury the two people.
While arranging the skeleton, a notebook that looked like a diary suddenly fell out from the tattered fabric.
Qu Weiwei was about to open the notebook to see if it contained the names and assets of these two people when she suddenly smelled a strong odor of gasoline outside.
She had a bad feeling in her heart. Those people were about to start lighting the fire. She hurriedly came out of the secret room and went straight to He Youyou's room. She hadn't brought out the things from He Youyou's room. She had forgotten about them when she came out.
He ran all the way to He Youyou's room, tidied up everything in the room with a wave of his hand, and then slipped out of the room to take a look at the yard next to her mother's house.
That was the courtyard where the fifth concubine lived. Since she had just moved in, many things were still quite new. Fortunately, there was a small door from He Youyou's kitchen that led to the courtyard next door.
Of course, she wouldn't let anything in the kitchen go to waste. After all, she was the aunt of the richest man's family, and her food, clothing, and daily necessities were all top-notch. The rice and flour were also the best. There were over a hundred kilograms of rice and dozens of kilograms of flour in the cupboard alone. There were no fresh meat or vegetables here, though.
Because the leftovers after cooking are taken away by the servants, and fresh ones are delivered early the next morning.
However, she had plenty of seasonings on hand, filling the entire cabinet to the brim. There were several cans of white sugar, brown sugar, rock sugar, eggs, milk powder, and malted milk powder. Qu Weiwei was overjoyed, like a little mouse that had fallen into an oil vat.
The fifth concubine next door was also unconscious at the dining table. I went to the kitchen first and put all the food in there into my space. Then I went into the fifth concubine's room. The layout of this room was the same as He Youyou's. However, because she had just arrived and was more favored, she had more gold, silver and jade ornaments on her dressing table than He Youyou.
However, Qu Weiwei did not intend to take these with her. After all, she wanted to wake up Fifth Aunt later. Although her mother and Fifth Aunt did not have any relationship, she still thought that she could save as many people as possible.
This fifth concubine was a concubine's daughter from an official family. She was probably the most beautiful woman in the entire Qu family. Her father bought her two months ago for ten large yellow croakers.
Although he had only been here for two months, he was already a thorn in the side of the First Madam, and had already taken a lot of damage from her as soon as he arrived.
The First Madam had wanted to deal with her for a long time, but her philandering father was always at home, so the First Madam hadn't found an opportunity yet. This time, the medicine she gave this Fifth Concubine was probably the strongest. No matter how she called out, this Fifth Concubine showed no sign of waking up.
Having no other choice, I found a gold hairpin on the dressing table and used it to prick her hand, which finally elicited a response.
"Auntie, wake up! There's a fire outside! Wake up!" To help her regain her senses, Qu Weiwei took a glass of ice water from the refrigerator in her space and splashed it directly on her face.
Fifth Concubine Fu Qinghe finally woke up, looking at the young girl in front of her with a confused expression: "Sixth Miss, what are you doing here? What happened to me?"
"Auntie, now is not the time to ask questions. Quickly pack some important things and get out of here. There's a fire outside, and the fire is huge. You'd better soak two cloaks in water and wear them so you won't get burned. Hurry up, I have to go now." Qu Weiwei felt she had done everything she could and quickly ran away.
Whether we live or die is up to fate.
