The beam of light and the crack disappeared simultaneously after colliding. A tremendous recoil force threw the two people who were embracing each other out of the passage.

The chaos before my eyes vanished, replaced by white light and the scent of grass.

Bang!

The two men crashed heavily onto the grass, creating a large crater.

Before landing, Yan Yu's protective golden light shattered. He instinctively rolled over, using his back to absorb the entire impact.

A muffled groan of pain.

The surroundings finally became completely quiet.

A wave of dizziness and exhaustion washed over me after surviving the ordeal.

Ruan Tang lay on Yan Yu's warm chest, breathing heavily, unable to move a single finger.

They survived...

"Ayu, how are you?" Her voice was a little hoarse and trembled slightly.

"Don't worry, I'm fine."

Yan Yu's voice was equally tired. He loosened his grip and tried to sit up to check on her condition.

He was about to get up when Ruan Tang pressed down on his shoulder first.

"Don't move."

Her voice was soft, but her tone left no room for argument.

Ruan Tang struggled to get up from his arms, ignoring the excruciating pain all over her body, and immediately went behind him.

Just one glance, and Ruan Tang felt as if her heart was being squeezed and throbbed with pain.

Yan Yu's back was a bloody mess, with deep wounds that exposed bone, and rags and flesh stuck together.

To protect her, he took all the harm upon himself.

Ruan Tang's vision blurred instantly.

She suppressed her emotions and quickly formed hand seals.

Inside her dantian, the greenish-blue golden elixir turned according to her will.

A powerful surge of water and wood spiritual energy transformed into green light, flowing from her palm and covering Yan Yu's wound.

She activated the "Green Vine Cloud Mist Technique".

Driven by the power of the Golden Core, the effects of the cultivation technique are much stronger than before.

Wherever the green light touched, the wounds healed rapidly, and new skin grew. This treatment effect was almost regenerative.

Yan Yu's body stiffened as he felt the life force behind him.

He tried to turn around, but Ruan Tang gently pressed her forehead against the back of his head.

"I told you not to move."

Her voice was muffled and nasal, "If you move around again, I'll... I'll ignore you."

Yan Yu stiffened his neck and really didn't move.

He could sense her spiritual energy being rapidly depleted. Even if she had formed her core, it would still be a considerable burden for her.

He remained silent, letting her treat him while he himself circulated the "Kun Yuan Golden Soul Technique" to repair his internal injuries.

Taking advantage of this break, Ruan Tang finally had a chance to look around.

They seemed to have landed in a primeval forest.

She was surrounded by towering trees she had never seen before.

The air is filled with the fragrance of grass and trees, and a primal, spiritual energy.

The spiritual energy here is richer than that of the Southern Li Continent, but it is also wilder.

Ruan Tang's heart sank.

Where exactly did that broken teleportation array send them?

A thought suddenly occurred to her.

"Little White! Big Orange!"

Two beams of light flashed, and Little White and Big Orange appeared on the grass.

The two little ones looked a bit disheveled.

Little White's snow-white fur was singed and turned a bit yellow, and its big tail drooped down.

Big Orange was covered in mud and was shaking its head in a daze.

"squeak......"

When Xiaobai saw Ruan Tang, it cried out in grievance and scurried to her feet, rubbing its little head against her ankle.

Ruan Tang bent down and scooped it up, then patted its little head.

"It's alright, we're safe now."

She gently comforted it, then took out a spirit fruit from her storage bag and gave it to it.

"Xiaobai, go and look around. Be careful and don't wander too far."

Little White took a couple of bites of the spirit fruit, regaining some of its energy. It blinked its large, dark purple eyes, nodded solemnly, and transformed into a beam of white light, disappearing into the forest. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
