Ruan Tang stared, somewhat stunned.

"Beautiful." She blurted out almost immediately.

Yan Yu was adjusting his cuffs when he heard this, and his fingertips paused almost imperceptibly.

His lips seemed to twitch slightly, so quickly it was almost an illusion.

“My mother-in-law’s cooking is excellent.” He replied calmly.

Ruan Tang snapped out of her daze, ran a few steps to him, and curiously poked the fabric on his arm with her fair index finger.

"These are not ordinary clothes."

She tilted her small, palm-sized face up as if presenting a treasure, her eyes sparkling.

"Grandma said it's woven from deep-sea black iron silkworm silk, with hundreds of defensive formations engraved inside. It's impervious to swords and spears, water and fire, and it can even clean itself!"

Yan Yu lowered his eyes, letting her small hands poke and poke at his arm, his gaze falling on her stunningly bright almond eyes, and his heart felt warm.

"You won't have to worry about your clothes getting torn anymore." Ruan Tang smiled, her eyes crinkling, and two small dimples appeared on her cheeks.

Yan Yu raised his hand and gently touched her dimple with his calloused fingertips.

The movements were so natural, as if they had done them a thousand times.

"Um."

Ruan Tang flinched as the heat from his fingertips burned her, and the heat spread through her ears again.

The young girl, feeling embarrassed, forcibly changed the subject: "What...what do we do now?"

Once things settle down and the joy fades, a sense of uncertainty about the unknown quietly emerges.

This is the world of cultivation, yet it is a completely unfamiliar world of cultivation.

Yan Yu surveyed the vibrant space, his gaze finally settling on Ruan Tang, his tone resolute.

"Let's go out first and scout out the situation."

"good."

The two figures flashed and returned to the dark cave.

Yan Yu's spiritual power spread out like mercury in an instant, confirming that there was no life within hundreds of meters around. Only then did he push aside the vines at the cave entrance and lead Ruan Tang out.

A biting mountain wind blew in my face.

A sharp, metallic aura, like the tip of a knife, wafted in the wind, causing a slight stinging sensation when it touched the skin.

On the cliffs on both sides of the canyon, a kind of moss that emits a ghostly blue fluorescence clings to the ground, making the dim valley floor look like a ghostly realm.

The air was filled with the unfamiliar scent of grass and trees and the slightly fishy smell of earth and stones.

Everything here exudes a primal, untamed wildness.

"Squeak!"

A white figure suddenly emerged from Ruan Tang's collar.

It's a newbie!

It was getting restless in the space, and as soon as it came out, it excitedly scurried around on Ruan Tang's shoulder, its bright black-purple eyes curiously surveying this brand new world.

It twitched its little nose, sniffing the air intently, its fluffy tail wagging excitedly.

Suddenly, it seemed to smell something extremely terrifying, and all the white fur on its body bristled open!

"Squeak squeak squeak!"

Little White let out a series of sharp, urgent cries, and before Ruan Han could react, its figure had already transformed into a white lightning bolt, hurtling towards the depths of the canyon!

"noob!"

Ruan Tang's heart tightened, and she immediately chased after him.

Yan Yu moved swiftly, blocking her side and protecting her as they moved forward together.

Xiao Bai's speed was astonishing. It moved across the rugged ground as if it were flat ground, and after twisting and turning, it stopped in front of a relatively open pile of rocks.

It circled around a black rock about half a person's height, pacing restlessly, its mithril-like front paws scratching the ground incessantly, and making urging "squeak" sounds.

"What's wrong?" Ruan Tang ran over and looked in the direction Xiao Bai was looking.

There seemed to be something pressing down under that black rock.

Yan Yu stepped forward, placed his large hand on the rock, and his arm muscles bulged.

"Let me see." (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
