The lone sandalwood box on the stone platform stood out conspicuously.

Yan Yu held her in his arms without pausing for a moment, his mind racing.

The scene before me suddenly distorted, like the surface of water tossed with a pebble.

The cold, damp, and rotten smell in the cave vanished instantly.

Instead, there is a dignified, aged scholarly atmosphere, along with a faint aroma of tea.

They appeared in an excessively spacious reception room.

Almost before he could even get his footing, Yan Yu waved his hand.

Hundreds of heavy, black lacquered wooden crates appeared out of thin air on the floor of the reception room, filling the adjacent study to the brim just enough to hold them.

Yan Yu gently placed the letter with eight characters written on it in the most conspicuous place.

After doing all this, he didn't linger for a moment.

Space fluctuated again.

The two were instantly back in the cave. The cave room, which had been filled with boxes, was now empty.

Ruan Tang looked at the empty cave, leaned against Yan Yu's firm chest, and heard the steady and powerful heartbeat in her ears, thump, thump, thump.

She tilted her head back, looking at Yan Yu's well-defined jawline, her voice carrying a hint of expectation that she herself was unaware of.

"Brother, will they... use this money wisely?"

Yan Yu did not answer directly.

He lowered his head and gently stroked her cheek with his calloused fingertips, his movements incredibly tender.

Those dark, deep eyes reflected only her small figure, yet they shone with an astonishing light.

"We have planted a seed."

His voice was deep and resolute, as if he were announcing a future that was bound to come.

"In the future, the entire Yan Kingdom will see what kind of towering tree it will grow into."

Yes, whatever the future holds, the entire Yan Kingdom will see, and Heaven will witness the nation's rise.

Ruan Tang nodded slightly to Yan Yu, then turned to look at the oval platform at the innermost part of the cave.

The cave has a large interior space. It was previously filled up so it wasn't visible, but now that it's empty, the oval platform at the very back is finally revealed.

This oval platform is made of a bluish-black rock, polished to a mirror-like smoothness, and exudes a faint chill.

The entire stone platform is a perfect circle, and the most striking feature is the circular plane in the very center, about half a meter in diameter. That plane fits perfectly with the surrounding stone platform, yet there are clear dividing lines, like a sealed-off circular door.

Six grooves of different shapes are evenly distributed around this round door.

The groove in the very center, directly facing the entrance, perfectly matches the shape of the auspicious cloud jade pendant in Ruan Tang's hand.

The other five correspond to the five jade pendants that Xiaobai found on Gu Jinzhou, Jia Ximei, and others.

Ruan Tang walked to the stone platform, and a cool sensation came from her fingertips.

She took out the five jade pendants and her own key pendant from her spatial storage.

Ruan Tang carefully placed the jade pendants in the shapes of Ruyi, Lingzhi, Mandarin Duck, Fish, and Mountain according to their shapes. As the pendants were placed, the power of the Five Elements automatically began to operate, and the faint halo of the Five Elements echoed the grooves on the stone platform.

Ruan Tang inserted the key and jade pendant into the center, and the power of the five elements seemed to receive some kind of command, quickly surging into the hollow in the center of the circular platform.

Only the fusion of the final power is needed to activate the mechanism of the circular platform. (This chapter has been completed. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
