Chapter 130 Little White Wakes Up! (2/2)
Reading Settings
A small, snow-white ball of fluff landed precisely on its head.
"Awoo?"
Big Orange was bewildered and shook its tiger-like head.
Little White stood with its hands on its hips on Big Orange's "King" sign, its fur standing on end, making threatening "squeak squeak squeak" sounds.
The meaning is clear: Who is this brat who dares to occupy my territory?!
Big Orange had never suffered such an injustice. It hadn't even learned the tiger's might yet, but it already had quite a fierce temper.
It opened its mouth and let out a "roar," trying to shake the little thing off its head.
But as soon as it moved, it met a pair of unfathomable, dark purple eyes.
In those eyes, stars seemed to swirl, and a powerful pressure, so strong it made its bloodline tremble, pressed down like a mountain.
Daju froze, feeling dizzy and weak, and collapsed to the ground with a thud.
Seeing that this trick worked, Little White proudly puffed out its little chest, took a pigeon-toed step, jumped down from the top of Big Orange's head, and walked up to it.
It stretched out its tiny mithril paws and patted the big orange cat's fluffy head three times, neither too hard nor too soft.
First step: Call him "Big Brother".
Second: From now on, follow me.
Thirdly: Whatever food you eat, it will all be mine from now on.
The big orange cat let out a "whimper" and completely lost its temper.
The huge tiger head drooped down, and it cautiously stuck out its tongue, licking the tiny paw, which was no bigger than its nose, with utmost reverence.
Little brother, I've just acquired one.
In the darkness, Yan Yu silently shook his head, a smile he himself didn't even realize appeared on his lips.

On the other hand, the atmosphere at the educated youth settlement was not so warm.
Yu Hao and Yu Siyuan returned to the drafty room and found two large packages on the floor.
My family had been counting down the days to send it, and I never expected it to arrive before the heavy snow blocked the roads.
The two looked at each other and saw the same resolute determination in each other's eyes.
As night fell, once the educated youth settlement had completely fallen silent, the two quietly slipped out.
Yu Hao took out a small porcelain bottle from his pocket, uncorked it, and a very faint fragrance silently spread in the courtyard.
This was the drug Yan Yu had given him; it was colorless, odorless, and extremely potent.
Soon, the entire courtyard fell into a deathly silence.
The two dared not delay, wrapped their cotton-padded coats tightly, and trudged towards the cowshed at the end of the village.
Three new mud-brick houses were built next to the cowshed for those "hats" to live in.
Although the house was simple, it was warm because of the heated earthen bed.
Under the dim light of an oil lamp, two figures sat on the kang (a heated brick bed), holding needles and thread, mending something.
"Auntie! Uncle!"
Yu Hao and Yu Siyuan rushed in, their voices filled with suppressed sobs.
Xu Wenbo and Yu Meijuan looked up abruptly and saw the two boys who had suddenly appeared. They were shocked at first, but before the joy of their reunion could rise, it was overwhelmed by raging anger and fear.
"You bastard!"
Xu Wenbo shoved away Yu Siyuan, who lunged at him. Veins bulged on his usually calm face, and his eyes were bloodshot.
"Who sent you?! What are you doing here?!"
Yu Meijuan also stood up abruptly, not even noticing that the needle in her hand accidentally pricked her flesh.
Yu Meijuan's lips trembled as she pointed at Yu Hao and Yu Siyuan, trembling with anger, unable to utter a single word.
They weren't happy.
It was fear, it was despair.
They tried desperately to protect the child behind them, but why wouldn't the child listen? They had clearly sent a message to Xu Siyuan's (his original name before being sent to the countryside) uncle before they were sent down to the countryside. (This chapter has been read.
