Chapter 60 Little White is so angry! (2/2)

Its eyes weren't pure black, but rather a dark purple, and they were currently staring at it with fiery eyes.

Most notably, there is a tiny yet intricate pale gold rune mark between its eyebrows.

Yan Yu had never seen such a symbol before. He curiously reached out and rubbed his thumb on it. Hmm, it wasn't drawn on.

Suddenly feeling his talent mark being touched, the treasure-hunting rat struggled even more fiercely, as if it had been electrocuted, and showed signs of trying to break free from his mental restraints.

A hint of surprise flashed in Yan Yu's eyes; it seemed this little thing was no ordinary item.

Yan Yu couldn't help but glance at the struggling little white dog in his hand again. The dog's heartfelt admiration and dependence on Ruan Tang were genuine.

Since that's the case...

As Yan Yu's thoughts raced, he quietly withdrew the mental force binding Xiao Bai.

As long as it can wholeheartedly protect Tangtang, he doesn't mind having another pet.

Feeling the restraints on her body suddenly loosen, Xiaobai was stunned for a moment, then struggled even more violently, baring her teeth as she twisted, ready to bite Yan Yu's wrist.

"Move again," a dangerous warning voice came from above: "You'll never see Tangtang again!"

Upon hearing this, Xiaobai immediately fell silent.

It chickened out.

Yan Yu then took Xiaobai to the kitchen, quickly took a shower for himself, and then clumsily gave Xiaobai a good bath. Finally, he wrapped it into a ball with a brand new black towel.

Throughout this process, Xiaobai behaved very well, and this obedience continued until Yan Yu took it back to the bedroom.

As soon as they returned to the bedroom, Xiaobai broke free from the man's grasp and ran straight towards Ruan Tang.

With a powerful push from its two hind paws, it jumped directly into her arms.

Then it buried its fluffy little head tightly in the crook of its owner's neck, its little body still trembling, and making mournful "woof woof" sounds from its throat, as if it had survived a disaster.

Ruan Tang, both amused and exasperated, hugged the little drama queen in her arms and gently patted its back to comfort it.

After snuggling in her arms for a while, Xiao Bai raised its head slightly and glared accusingly at the tall man at the door with its dark purple eyes, red and brimming with tears.

It's all your fault! You big bad guy!

Yan Yu paid no attention to its angry glare.

He closed the door, walked to the bedside and sat down, looking calmly at the fluffy ball of fur being held in the little girl's arms and glaring at him defiantly.

As long as the little girl is happy, he can tolerate this arrogant little thing.

Who can blame Tangtang for loving him the most!

Just as Yan Yu was about to show off, Ruan Tang got up and stepped forward to block the man's neck, burying her face in his neck and rubbing against him.

"Brother, hug me."

A sweet, innocent sigh escaped her lips, a sound so soft it sent shivers down one's spine.

The girl's sweet fragrance wafted towards his ear, and the little white dog nestled on her shoulder, when it twitched its ears, its colorful ear hairs occasionally brushing against the man's earlobe, sending a shiver down his spine.

Yan Yu's eyes were deep and dark, and the corners of his lips curled up uncontrollably.

He reached out and pulled the little girl, along with the annoying furry ball, onto his shoulder, and then lay down on the kang (a heated brick bed).

Yan Yu adjusted his position to make the little girl more comfortable, and then gently patted her back with his large, well-defined hands.

Under his comforting words, Ruan Tang snuggled closer to him in a daze. The girl's dependent gesture instantly soothed the last trace of bitterness remaining in Yan Yu's heart.
