"Shi Shi's cousin, a girl named Shen He, has just gone missing."

"Send me your name information." Zhang Feng said as he jumped out of bed, put on his coat, and went outside.

After hanging up the phone, Fu Yingzhou handed the phone to Shishi.

Shi Shi found her chat window with Zhang Feng and quickly typed in Shen He's name, birthday, and phone number. She seemed to have Shen He's ID number on her phone from when the three of them started the influencer company together. She took a picture of it and sent it to him.

After calculating the time, she typed that Shen He's last appearance was in a prime VIP seat at the concert, next to her mother, Kong Lai. It hadn't been long since the phone call.

Zhang Feng replied with a voice message: "Got it." Now that he had the information on the phone, things were much easier. Before he even arrived, he contacted his colleague on duty in the Major Crimes Unit and asked him to help check the phone's satellite location.

Upon learning that the phone was moving rapidly, Zhang Feng felt relieved. It seemed the criminal was rather dim-witted; they only knew to turn off the phone but hadn't actually thrown it away. In fact, turning off the phone doesn't block the signal.

Meanwhile, Shi Shi and Fu Yingzhou returned to the concert. By then, the concert had ended, and Shi Shi learned from the staff that Shen He had left alone after saying goodbye to his parents.

The two checked the parking lot's surveillance footage and made a new discovery!

It's the ninth one!

In the scene, just as Shen He was about to get into the car, Lao Jiu appeared beside her and said a few words to her. Shen He crossed her arms, looking unwilling, and retorted a couple of times. Judging from her expression, her tone wasn't very friendly. Finally, Lao Jiu gestured for her to leave. Shen He stomped her foot angrily and followed him away.

The two exchanged a glance.

Fu Yingzhou told Zhang Feng the news, and Shi Shi quickly called Aunt Zhang.

"Hey Aunt Zhang, do you remember the person in charge of the company that was in charge of security for the villa? The one who came to install it."

Sensing the urgency in her voice, Aunt Zhang immediately replied, "Yes, yes, I'll send it to you."

Fortunately, he didn't have the habit of deleting contact information. Everyone he had ever interacted with was saved in her phone book.

With a ding, Aunt Zhang sent the number. Shishi was about to dial when Fu Yingzhou stopped her.

"If he really kidnapped Shen He, calling him at this time would only alert him. Trust Zhang Feng, he's very professional."

Shishi was too anxious and lost her composure just now. Fu Yingzhou looked at her with firm eyes, as if giving her a reassuring pill.

Shishi nodded: "You're right. I can't panic now!"

"Let's go, I'll take you to find Zhang Feng."

Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. They were destined not to find Zhang Feng, because he was driving a police car with two colleagues, heading towards Shen He's location.

Police officers are subject to regulations regarding carrying firearms. His two colleagues were not carrying firearms; he was the only one. Since the other two were unaware of the situation, if they did violate discipline, he could simply write a self-criticism.

He drove the car incredibly fast, explaining the situation to his colleagues as he drove.

"The missing person is named Shen He, the only daughter of the famous star Shen Jingyuan. She went missing an hour ago. At the time of her disappearance, she was on the phone with her cousin Shi Shi. After she cried out 'Help me!', the phone could no longer be reached. Shi Shi is also the person who reported this case."

Today, the people on duty in their team, besides Zhang Feng's old partner, are Lou Xiaohe, who just got promoted.

Lou Xiaohe was surprised to learn that Shen Jingyuan and Shi Shi were relatives. Before she could even catch a glimpse of what was going on, she became serious.

Looking at her phone, she found Shen He's photo and analyzed, "The victim is fair-skinned and beautiful, so it's possible she was attracted by her looks. Moreover, she comes from a well-off family, so it's also possible she was after money. After all, she's been missing for too short a time; if the intention was extortion, the criminals probably wouldn't have had time to demand a ransom."

Zhang Feng nodded in agreement: "Shen He and the man nicknamed Lao Jiu left on their own, which means they were old acquaintances. The only possibility is that they encountered someone else and got into trouble after they left."

The group drove to the entrance of a hutong (alleyway), their expressions somewhat somber. Kyoto is an ancient city, and its hutongs are intricate and complex, inaccessible by car, requiring pedestrian access.

The three of them proceeded cautiously until they arrived at a mansion.

Compared to other houses, this detached house seemed excessively luxurious. It didn't look like a place where criminals might live.

Zhang Feng gently touched the door and found it wasn't closed. He left Lou Xiaohe outside to keep watch, while he and his old partner sneaked inside.

Zhang Feng passed through the screen wall and discovered that it was a standard courtyard house.

The dark front yard was deserted. He sensed something was wrong. The two exchanged a glance and became even more vigilant.

He slowly crept into the backyard when suddenly he felt a gust of wind sweep past his back. Without thinking, he instinctively turned to the side, and Zhang Feng dodged the attack. His old partner wasn't so lucky.

"Old Wang? Are you alright?"

"You dare to be so arrogant as a thief? It's only been a short time, Captain Zhang, how come you're already trespassing on private property?"

The nonchalant voice rang out, and even though Zhang Feng couldn't see the person's face clearly, he knew who it was.

Lu Chiye.

He helped Old Wang up, turned around and said to Lu Chiye who was walking over, "Where's Chen He? Why are you grabbing that young girl?"

Lu Chiye shook his head: "The little girl didn't see me, but I did capture a little devil who sets fires everywhere."

Hearing this, Zhang Feng's expression instantly turned serious: "You should know your place! If someone commits arson, you can call the police! I'll investigate. What? You've left the army, and you've abandoned discipline too?"

Looking at the serious-looking Zhang Feng, Lu Chiye suddenly burst into laughter: "Crazy Brother, why are you still like that? Shen He is indeed an arsonist, but she's a heartbreaker."

Seeing that Zhang Feng was still watching him intently without letting up, Lu Chiye helplessly spread his hands and said to the third and ninth brothers who had just made their move, "You two come here and meet Mountain Eagle."

Before Zhang Feng retired from the army, his nickname in the military was Mountain Eagle.

The third brother was older and quite steady. The ninth brother, however, was different. His eyes gleamed as he walked up to Zhang Feng and saluted, "Greetings, Commander!"

In the military, only officers of battalion commander rank and above are addressed as "commander." Officers below battalion commander are addressed by their rank, while soldiers usually address them by their rank, such as "Company Commander" or "Platoon Leader." This shows respect for superiors without making soldiers feel distant.

Zhang Feng, without mentioning that after being assigned to the criminal investigation team, had already received one first-class merit, two second-class merits, and the title of model soldier while still in the military, was a different story. The third and ninth brothers, who were from the same military region as Zhang Feng, had only heard of his legendary status as a top soldier and had never met him in person before.
