Fang Xiaoke and the others only had a morning off. After lunch, they had to go back. Jin He reluctantly saw them off at the door.

Good luck in the finals!

He said, "Don't be too nervous. With such a high ranking, you'll definitely debut smoothly."

Fang Xiaoke nodded: "Mm!"

No sooner had Fang Xiaoke and the others left than Jin He turned to An Yi and said, "I need oxygen."

Seeing that his lips were a little purple, An Yi realized that he must have been feeling chest tightness for a long time but hadn't said anything. So he picked him up and put him on the bed, then turned on the oxygen concentrator and hung the oxygen tube under his nose. Jin He took small sips of oxygen.

"Cough cough..." He coughed twice, his eyes half-closed, looking rather listless.

An Yi knew that he was somewhat uncomfortable. Seeing those young people full of energy and vitality, while he was only twenty-five years old and tied to a hospital bed with nowhere to go, how could he not be envious?

"You got up too early today," An Yi said. "Do you need to take another nap?"

"My stomach is bloated, I'll go to sleep later."

"Shall I rub it for you?"

Jin He nodded.

Jin He's cough has been a bit abnormal lately; it sounds like his chest cavity and trachea are vibrating together. Sometimes he coughs so badly that he can't sleep at all. When he can't sleep well, he feels uncomfortable, and when he feels uncomfortable, he gets irritable. But Jin He's irritability isn't directed at An Yi; it's more like he's angry with himself. He lies there silently with his back to An Yi, which most likely means he's upset and angry with himself because of his discomfort.

“You’ve gained a little weight recently.” An Yi casually pinched Jin He’s waist. “See, things aren’t so bad.”

"Cough cough..." Jin He coughed while pinching her waist and replied, "That's because I haven't exercised for too long and my waist is loose."

After a while, An Yi rubbed Jin He's stomach until it felt warm. Just when he thought Jin He had fallen asleep, Jin He suddenly said, "I don't want to be hospitalized. I want to go home."

An Yi fell silent. Where else could he go if he didn't want to be hospitalized? Home? Go home and wait to die?

"Never mind, I was just kidding," Jin He said.

"I'll figure something out for you."

Jin He turned to look at An Yi, and seeing his serious expression, asked, "A solution? What other solution could there be?"

"I don't necessarily want to be discharged from the hospital. I promised you I would get proper treatment."

However, it was obvious that Jin He was not happy in the hospital, which would affect his recovery. He still needed to save up enough strength for the surgery, so we couldn't let him stay so gloomy.

"It's okay, I know, go to sleep." An Yi patted the back of his neck and comforted him, "You won't feel uncomfortable if you fall asleep."

After Jin He fell asleep, An Yi called a caregiver to watch over him, while he took his car keys and went out. He remembered that he owned a property in the city center, a detached villa with a very nice environment. It was close to shopping malls or hospitals, and it was located in an affluent area without any unruly children running around, so it should be a good place to recuperate.

An Yi parked the car at the entrance, went inside and looked around. He could convert the guest bedroom on the first floor into a sanatorium, and he would also need to hire a resident doctor. The An family already had doctors available, so he could just call them over. However, the equipment for the sanatorium...

I'll have to pull some strings again.

Fortunately, An Yi still had the phone number of the person in charge at Yu Shiliu from last time. He quickly took out his phone and dialed it. To his surprise, the other party answered very quickly.

An Yi briefly explained the situation, and the other party readily agreed: "The equipment? That's easy. Could you give me your address? I'll send someone to deliver it to you and install it."

An Yi gave a home address, but to his surprise, there was silence on the other end of the phone.

"I see... May I come to your home to take a look around? And also to find out about your spouse's condition."

An Yi agreed and asked, "When do you have time to come?"

"Leave the door open, I'm coming right now."

After hanging up the phone, An Yi was wondering what was going on when he suddenly heard someone ringing the doorbell at his front door. He quickly ran to open the door and saw a young man standing there. He was handsome and looked like a high school student.

"Hello," he said.

An Yi stared at the man in silence for a while, then asked, "Hello, who are you looking for?"

"Didn't you say you were going to install medical equipment?" Zhou Mo asked, puzzled. "I'm the person in charge. We just talked about it on the phone."

"So fast!" An Yi quickly ushered the person in. "Please come in..."

"I live right next door to you, isn't that a coincidence?" Zhou Mo walked in confidently on the weekend. An Yi handed him a pair of slippers. Zhou Mo looked around and asked, "Are you planning to move in soon?"

"Yes, it must have been recently. My husband doesn't want to stay in the hospital anymore, and I think going back to our own home will make him feel more relaxed."

"I see. A complete set of medical equipment isn't cheap. Do you love your partner very much? ...May I ask what illness your partner has?"

An Yi perked up at the mention of this: "Heart failure, stomach ulcers, lung congestion, malnutrition, picky eating..."

"Still a picky eater?" Zhou Mo immediately grasped the crux of the problem.

"Yes, he doesn't eat this or that all day long, and he throws up if he eats something wrong. He's 1.75 meters tall but weighs less than 100 pounds."

"So your needs are to stabilize his condition and provide him with some nutrition, right?"

An Yi glanced at the note and realized it was some kind of medical device, but he didn't recognize it.

“Yes, he also coughs frequently, sometimes waking up in the middle of the night, so he needs an oxygen concentrator and a nebulizer,” An Yi said.

"Okay." I jotted down two more notes over the weekend.

When can you get everything ready at the earliest?

"The equipment is easy to arrange, but some of the equipment requires a professional doctor to use. Do you have a resident doctor? If not, our company can provide you with one, and we guarantee professional expertise."

“We have it.”

“That makes things easier,” Zhou Mo said. “I’ll have them expedite things for you. It might take about two days. Once it’s installed, you can bring your loved one back. But I need to remind you that even if you have the equipment at home, it can only handle some basic illnesses. If there are any emergencies, you’ll still need to go back to the hospital.”

"Okay, I understand." An Yi got up and escorted Zhou Mo to the door. "Thank you."

“It’s okay, we’ll be neighbors from now on anyway.” Zhou Mo pointed to a house with a vegetable greenhouse in the yard next door and said, “That’s my house. I’m back in China now and don’t have much to do. If your spouse gets bored while recuperating, they can come visit me.”

An Yi took it as a polite remark: "Yes, thank you."

Over the weekend, he handed a long list of equipment to An Yi, clapped his hands, and left, keeping his accomplishments hidden.
