Lin Nian was in the kitchen preparing to cut himself an apple. He had just finished peeling it when he heard a loud "!" as the door slammed shut. Startled, he looked up.

Jin He, her face tense and furious, stormed in from outside. Without even greeting Lin Nian, she rushed upstairs and slammed her door shut.

Following behind, An Yi also had a sour face. When he saw Lin Nian looking at him, he pointed to the door upstairs and gritted his teeth, saying, "That's just his bad temper!"

Lin Nian: "..."

How dare you say that to him?

Lin Nian had no interest in getting involved in their affairs. Anyway, the reasons for their arguments were always the same few, and they would make up again in a few days.

Sure enough, he saw An Yi run into his room, and a little while later he came out with his pillow, pushed open Jin He's door, went in, and closed it.

Lin Nian had a strong sense of doubt.

How come these two are so close now that they can sleep in the same room?

When they first moved in, the two of them argued the most. Lin Nian was afraid that they would fight, so she specially separated them when choosing rooms. Now, the two rooms on the second floor are: Jin He, Lin Nian, and An Yi.

Lin Nian shook her head, poured herself a glass of warm water, and went back: Let the children handle their own affairs.

Jin He took a shower after returning home and planned to go to sleep. The spicy hot pot was a bit irritating to his stomach, and he still felt a slight pain in his stomach, but thankfully he wasn't nauseous anymore, otherwise that would have been the most uncomfortable thing.

Jin He wrapped herself in the blanket, trying to fall asleep, when she heard the sound of the door opening behind her. An Yi, holding a pillow, put one leg on the bed and patted Jin He's bottom: "Move over a little, make room for me."

He hadn't expected this person to follow him, and sat up angrily, saying, "Why should I?"

An Yi, quick as a flash, seized the opportunity and shoved a pillow next to Jin He, then lay down beside her, saying, "Let's go to sleep."

"Get out of here."

"No." An Yi glanced down at the blanket covering Jin He and said, "Where did you buy this blanket? It's so ugly."

"This is a cotton quilt that my grandma knitted for me."

A large pink floral cotton quilt, the color saturation was very high, but fortunately it felt quite thick. An Yi reached out and squeezed it: "Won't it be too hot to cover up in the summer?"

"Who says you have to be covered by a blanket? Can't I just hold you?"

An Yi: "..."

It turns out that it was Jin He's spiritual Abeibei.

"Give me a piece."

"No, go back to your own room. Don't you have your own room?"

"The bed is broken, I can't sleep on it."

"You're kidding me."

"Oh, alright, alright." An Yi put his arm around Jin He's waist and pulled him back, tucking him into the blanket before asking, "Doesn't your stomach hurt? You're so energetic fighting with me, can't you take a rest instead?"

"You're the one who provoked me."

"Okay, okay, I was wrong," An Yi replied.

The apology was so straightforward that Jin He was momentarily speechless. He lay there awkwardly with his back to An Yi. After a while, he said, "Then I forgive you."

Her stomach still hurt quite a bit, as if someone was scratching her stomach wall with their fingernails. Jin He turned her back to An Yi, curled up, crossed her hands to protect her stomach, and quietly waited for the pain to pass.

An Yi, who was beside her, suddenly got up, pushed open the door and walked out. Jin He thought he was acting on a whim, so she just glanced at him and lay down again to go to sleep.

Unexpectedly, footsteps sounded behind him again after a while. Jin He felt someone pat his back. An Yi was holding a glass of water and handed him a bag of medicine.

Jin He was quite surprised. The first-aid kit in the dormitory was downstairs, and he had been holding back because he was too lazy to walk those two steps. He didn't expect An Yi to open it first.

He propped himself up on his arms, tore open the packaging, and drank the thick medicine in one gulp. He then gulped down half a glass of water, and when he handed the glass back to An Yi, he said, "Thank you."

An Yi snorted.

Not long after, An Yi returned, snuggled into Jin He's bed, and touched Jin He's shoulder. Jin He's tolerance for An Yi had increased slightly because of the fact that An Yi had helped him get his medicine earlier. He just turned his head and glanced at him, his eyes asking, "What?"

Does your stomach still hurt?

It actually hurt quite a bit, but when someone asked that question, Jin He subconsciously shook her head.

"Much better."

An Yi stared at his pale lips, then leaned closer and reached out to cover Jin He's stomach.

Jin He: "!!!"

"What are you doing?"

"Your body is still so stiff, how could it not hurt?" The two were pressed very close together, and An Yi's words seemed to be whispering in his ear, his breath brushing against Jin He's earlobe.

Jin He raised her hand and rubbed her ear: "It'll be fine in a bit."

An Yi breathed on his hands twice to warm them up, then placed them on Jin He's stomach.

"You! What are you doing!" Jin He sensed someone behind her and struggled violently for a moment. "What are you doing?"

"Hiss..." An Yi tightened his grip on his arm and said, "Behave yourself."

What are you doing?

"Let me rub it for you, it'll feel better once it's rubbed in."

"No, no." Jin He struggled. Where did this idiot learn to rub someone's stomach just because they have a stomachache? "You, you can't touch me, I'm not feeling well..."

"Can you please stop being so stubborn?"

"Who's being stubborn! Don't touch me, I can't take it..."

An Yi hugged him even tighter. He was determined to make Jin He feel comfortable today. His stomach was hard as a rock; if he didn't feel pain, who would?

Jin He kicked and bit him, but An Yi, with his immense strength, frowned and grew paler, yet he couldn't escape.

"An Yi! Let me go!"

An Yi's hands kept moving.

"You!" Jin He suddenly stopped talking, took two quick breaths, and leaned half her body out of the bed, grabbed the trash can, and vomited again with a "whoosh".

An Yi: "..."

Oh no, we're doomed.

Lin Nian had just finished showering and applied some fragrant skincare products, making him a refined young man from the inside out. He lit a sleep diffuser on his bedside table and was about to drift off to sleep when someone suddenly banged on the door.

Captain Lin, whose good mood had been interrupted, didn't take the little incident to heart. He happily opened the door and saw An Yi's sour face, as if his wife had died.

Lin Nian maintained her smile and slowly began to close the door.

“Even you’re trying to kick me out,” An Yi said resentfully.

"What's wrong with you now?" As Lin Nian spoke, An Yi, carrying a pillow, crawled into his room. The two had grown up together since childhood, and Lin Nian could tell from his behavior that An Yi was about to start complaining.

Sure enough, An Yi's next sentence was: "Jin He kicked me out."

"Why?"

"Jin He had an upset stomach, so I massaged his stomach. He threw up, and then he kicked me out." An Yi said this as if she had done a good deed but was not rewarded, and had suffered a great injustice. "He even hit me, and it made a loud slap."

As he spoke, he rolled up his sleeve, revealing a bright red handprint with clearly defined five fingers on his biceps.

"Did you throw up?" Lin Nian asked with concern. "I'll go check on you."

An Yi also stood up and followed behind Lin Nian. He looked like he was going to settle scores with Jin He, but in reality, he was terrified.

Jin He had already changed her sheets, opened the window to let in some fresh air, and then went to the bathroom to take a shower. Seeing An Yi following behind Lin Nian like a dog, she was furious again.

"What are you doing here again?" Jin He said to him rudely.

"I heard from An Yi that you weren't feeling well," Lin Nian carefully examined Jin He's expression. "Xiao He, what's wrong? Should we go to the hospital?"

"Captain, ask him," Jin He said, pointing at An Yi, who looked guilty. "He insisted on rubbing my stomach, even after I told him I didn't need it! I was just full! I didn't have a stomach spasm!"

"I thought you could just rub your stomach and it would feel better."

"Are you done massaging?"

An Yi lowered his head and said guiltily, "No, no."

Lin Nian glanced at An Yi and cursed him for deserving it. Jin He felt annoyed just looking at him and waved him away.

"Do you want anything else to eat?" An Yi asked, leaning against the doorframe.

"I won't eat it!"

As a result, Jin He scolded An Yi away again, and An Yi went back home that night and poured out his grievances to Lin Nian all night.

"Isn't he fragile? He gets upset all the time, he's so hard to please."

"She's so skinny, like a little chick, not pretty at all."

"He also has a bad temper and gets angry easily, so I have to coax him."

Under the influence of the sleep fragrance, Lin Nian's eyelids were almost stuck together; he was so sleepy that his eyes were rolling back. He said, "Mmm, yes, that's right..."

An eerie silence fell over An Yi's side.

A moment later, An Yi muttered in rebuttal: "Actually, you don't need to have too much prejudice against him. Sometimes he's actually a pretty good person."

Lin Nian: "..."

"An Yi, can you go back to sleep?"

"I was kicked out by Jin He, so I'll stay here tonight." An Yi told him to move away and stay away from him, so he wouldn't bump into him, as it was terribly hot.

Lin Nian: "..."

Damn it, this is insane! This is a real mental illness!

If Jin He kicks you out, you have to sleep here for one night! Is Lin Nian your concubine, An Yi?! He's the one who takes in people who get kicked out by the mistress!

Lin Nian wanted nothing more than to kick this unlucky kid!
