Chapter 31 I'm begging you

Jin He and An Yi had an argument on the way back because An Yi wanted him to withdraw from the competition, but Jin He wouldn't listen to him.
The atmosphere inside the car became tense for a moment. Jin He leaned against the passenger seat with his arms crossed, while An Yi kept his hands on the steering wheel and drove obediently, with a posture as upright as a primary school student, looking straight ahead. Only the bulging veins on his arms could remind others how angry he had just been.
Jin He remained silent with a livid face. Because he had a physical examination early in the morning, he was still fasting and felt nauseous from hunger.
The car drove a short distance before suddenly stopping by the roadside. An Yi pursed his lips, got out of the car without a word, and walked away. Jin He looked up at his departing figure, then sat there stunned. What did that mean? Was he just leaving me here?
Where is he going?
Jin He felt more and more wronged. It wasn't like he was the one who wanted to get sick; he just wanted to continue participating in the competition. Why did An Yi throw such a big tantrum?
He didn't want to be with An Yi anymore.
All he wants to do now is use these next few months to create a few performances to give back to his fans, to make those girls who have been waiting for him so long happy, and to treat it as a farewell. He can then retire from the entertainment industry successfully, which would be a perfect ending. Why not? He is really tired and in so much pain. Even if he dies from exhaustion, it would be a relief.
Why stop him? Why have I never encountered anything that goes smoothly in my life?
Jin He didn't know where An Yi had gone. She sat in the passenger seat and waited for a while, but no one came back. She got angry and unbuckled her seatbelt, opened the car door and was about to leave when An Yi came out of an alley. As soon as he popped his head out, he saw Jin He was about to leave, so he rushed over and grabbed her.
"Where are you going?!"
An Yi grabbed him, his eyes bloodshot, looking like a madman, "Are you leaving again? Where are you going?!"
"I'm going back to base."
"Go back to the base, go to the hospital."
She was clingy and crying at the hospital just now, but as soon as she heard that Jin He wanted to go back to the base to continue participating in the show, she went crazy and refused to agree no matter what. "Don't always force me. I'm so old now, I can do whatever I want! You used to always urge me to train, and now you want me to go back and rest."
Upon hearing this, An Yi was completely dumbfounded, trembling with anger. He pointed at Jin He with a shaking hand: "You, you, do you think your actions are mature? Huh? If you're going to die, do you think I'd just stand by and watch you die! You didn't want to live, you came to participate in this program, you didn't want to live! Right!"
"So what? It was my own choice."
Seeing that he was completely unyielding, An Yi got so angry that he tugged at his hair, paced around like a headless fly for a few steps, and said, "I'm not going to waste my breath on you, Jin He. You absolutely cannot record the show anymore. You have to listen to me."
"Why should I? You only have the right to know, but you don't have the right to decide. You're not my boyfriend anymore."
"You're talking nonsense! Who agreed to break up..."
Before An Yi could finish speaking, he saw Jin He grab her collar, lean against the car door, and slowly squat down. Her face was pale, and cold sweat was pouring down her face.
"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell? Should we go to the hospital?" An Yi reached out to support Jin He the moment he squatted down. Jin He was practically sitting in An Yi's lap, his fingers gripping his collar so tightly they turned white.
"Doctor, didn't I tell you... I can't get emotional?" Jin He gasped for breath. "Please, let me continue. I'll be careful, I won't die."
An Yi rummaged through Jin He's pocket and found some pills, stuffed two into his mouth, and rubbed his back with a dark expression.
"I beg you, An Yi," Jin He said, almost breaking down in tears. "I don't want to disappoint my fans."
“If you are not in good health and something happens to you, they will be even more upset.”
"I won't let them know I had an accident," Jin He promised him. "After this show, I'll retire from the entertainment industry. You see, I was fine on my first performance stage, wasn't I?"
"I'm begging you."
Jin He has always been strong-willed. Even when he was exhausted before, he never asked An Yi for anything. But today, he asked three times, all for the sake of participating in that program.
"Can't we make another show for you and you participate?"
Jin He shook his head with his eyes half-closed. No other program could be as professional as this one, and there were still plenty of opportunities to perform on stage.
An Yi really couldn't do anything with him. He suspected that if he refused Jin He again, he wouldn't even have to wait until the show was over; he could just bend over right there. Seeing that he was in a lot of pain with his eyes half-closed and his fitness tracker was constantly beeping, An Yi picked him up and placed him safely on the passenger seat before handing him the bag in his hand.
Jin He took it and saw that it was a McDonald's breakfast.
"Eat something first."
Jin He stared at the potato pancakes and soy milk in the bag, swallowed hard, and felt a sour taste rising in her mouth. An Yi glanced over and took the potato pancakes from the bag: "These are deep-fried, so don't eat them. Eat those instead, I specially bought the grilled ones."
Jin He only took out the soy milk, drank a sip, and then returned the rest of the items in the bag to An Yi.
An Yi's loud voice rang out again: "You eat that all day long, how can you get better!"
Jin He didn't answer him either, she just covered her chest with a blank expression, and An Yi immediately fell silent, his face turning ashen.
Teacher An has never been treated like this before, wanting to swear but not being able to.
Jin He only took two sips of soy milk. Seeing that An Yi had already opened the hamburger and was holding it to his mouth, he condescended to lower his head and take two bites. Then he turned his head away. An Yi had no choice but to stuff the rest into his mouth with a dark face, choking quite a bit in the process.
"Have you been unable to eat? You're eating so little?"
"It can be forced in, even if you try."
An Yi sneered: "If you just force it in, there's an 80% chance it'll come back up. The remaining 20% is a bonus. Is that how you complete the meal task?"
Jin He didn't answer, but simply said, "Back to base."
"I understand, I'll take you back to the base." An Yi was still quite angry because Jin He never listened to him; he simply didn't listen! He did whatever he wanted!
"But I have conditions."
"Name your terms." Whether you listen or not is another matter.
An Yi didn't understand Jin He's implied meaning and was still humming, "From now on, you can only choose songs from the vocal group."
"No problem." He can't even dance anymore; he almost danced himself to death on the song "Soaring."
"From now on, I will have to watch you while you eat, and also watch over the Chinese medicine you drink."
Jin He: "..."
He hesitated for a moment and said, "Those are all minor matters."
"You told me you wanted to break up today, so I'll pretend I didn't hear it. Don't say it again. I'm still your boyfriend."
"..."
Why are we going to take advantage of this situation?
