The homeroom teacher was in a dilemma. There was only one empty bed in the four-person room, but none of the three girls welcomed Chu Baiyi, and letting her move in would only cause more trouble.

"I was just saying it casually, I didn't say you guys were sloppy, why are you all reacting so strongly?"

"Besides, does your family own the school? Do I need your welcome if I stay in the dormitory?"

Chu Baiyi's lips curled into a mocking smile.

"Damn it! Who do you think you are? You just got here and you're already putting on airs?!"

The girl who ate instant noodles immediately exploded, rushed over and shoved her suitcase aside.

The suitcase slammed to the ground with a thud, and Chu Baiyi's face instantly turned cold.

"You poor bastard, you can only afford a dorm room in your entire life. Do you think I wanted to live in such a crappy dorm room??"

Chu Baiyi pushed aside the dormitory head and was about to go inside when she was about to throw all those ill-mannered, poor bastards on the ground!

What are you trying to do?!

The dormitory head shouted angrily, grabbed Chu Baiyi by the back of her neck and yanked her down hard. Chu Baiyi was caught off guard and staggered, almost falling over.

The other two girls rushed over immediately upon seeing this.

"You fucking want to die?! How dare you hit me!!"

Room 302 instantly descended into chaos, with pulling, pushing, and shouting mingling all around, and even the homeroom teacher couldn't stop it.

The commotion attracted many people on the third floor to watch, and people from upstairs and downstairs came over to see what was going on.

The dormitory head was quick and ruthless, scratching Chu Baiyi's face with her fingernails, leaving several red marks instantly.

"Holy crap! My face!! You scratched my face!!!"

Chu Baiyi screamed.

The girl with the instant noodles grabbed Chu Baiyi's hair. Chu Baiyi was in pain and slapped her back, causing the girl to stumble backward and hit the back of her head.

The crisp sound of a slap wasn't enough to calm everyone down, but the girl with the instant noodles falling to the ground, blood seeping from her back, instantly silenced the entire dormitory.

The dorm supervisor's angry roar echoed down the hallway: "What are you doing?! Stop it, all of you!"

But no one cared about the dormitory supervisor who rushed over. The homeroom teacher's face was terrifying, and his trembling hands held his phone as he quickly dialed 120.

Zi Xi was unaware of what had happened at school. She finished her classes in the afternoon under Jiang Yanli's unwavering gaze, quickly completed most of her homework during the break, and refused Jiang Yanli's offer of a ride after school, taking the bus back to her rented apartment complex instead.

After grabbing a quick bite of noodles outside the residential area, Zixi picked up her package at the delivery station and headed home.

The neighborhood isn't far from Chongde High School, and the security is quite good. It's about a half-hour drive away. A two-bedroom apartment costs 5,000 yuan a month.

She sold her apartment in City S for 300,000 yuan and paid a year's rent upfront. With the 200,000 yuan tuition fee for Chongde High School, a regular private school, she currently has over 300,000 yuan in savings.

This includes her earnings from part-time jobs.

Zixi's part-time job is none other than online live streaming.

There aren't many people doing live streaming in this world yet, which is why she's able to make money from it. Otherwise, in the era when everything was flourishing like in her previous life, no one would have watched her live streams.

Fortunately, she is still able to earn money.

After unpacking the package, Zixi carefully applied the soundproofing material piece by piece and practiced drumming for an hour. No one in the neighborhood group complained, so she took a shower with peace of mind and started preparing for her live stream.
