Chapter 12 The Twins Awaken in the Space
Reading Settings
Shu Ying's eyes lit up.
I just felt thirsty and then I heard the sound of running water. Isn't this just like a pillow coming right out of my sleep?
Shu Ying immediately followed the sound of the flowing water. As soon as she got close to the back of the house, she felt a refreshing mist of water rushing towards her, and there was a sweet smell in the air.
This sweetness is not the sweetness of cane sugar, but rather like the natural sweetness of flowing water, with an extremely pure taste.
This was the first time she had ever smelled this kind of scent in the air.
Shu Ying quickened her pace, and just as she rounded the corner behind the house, a pool of clear, mirror-like spring water appeared before her.
The spring is located in the center of this pool of water. The water column gushes up from below the surface and then spreads outwards a few inches above the water, looking somewhat like a fountain in a private garden abroad.
Fine, dense water vapor floats in the air, emerging from the spring like mist and spreading outwards, floating in the air.
The spring pool is circular, surrounded by smooth, beautiful stones with a jade-like texture.
At the edge of the pool, there was a table with an antique design.
Having been exposed to it since childhood, Shu Ying could recognize that the table was made of huanghuali wood almost at a glance.
On the table was a tea set, clear and translucent, bright and flawless, as if made of white jade.
On the side of the tea table, there is a small tea stove and teapot, next to which is a water-drawing device and a box of tea.
It even has everything you need for boiling water and making tea. Isn't that just what I need?
I wonder what the spring water in this pool tastes like.
Shu Ying thought about it and curiously took a few steps forward.
Just as I stood at the edge of the pool, a line of explanation suddenly popped up in front of me.
This water is from a sacred spring and can be drunk directly. When taken internally or used externally, it can relieve fatigue, heal injuries, and restore bodily functions. Further details are available for your exploration.
Shu Ying's eyes brightened slightly as she looked at him.
Does this spring water really have such magical effects?
However… after standing by the pool for a while, breathing in the air filled with the essence of the spiritual spring, she truly felt her mind clear, her energy restored, and her fatigue greatly reduced.
The wonder of this spring seems to be real.
The water vapor alone has such amazing effects, so what would happen if you drank the water directly?
Shu Ying hurriedly walked to the tea table and sat down. She scooped up a ladle of water with the ladle, poured it into her teacup, and immediately began to taste it.
I took a sip, the spring water moistened my lips, and then slid down my throat.
A cool and refreshing taste instantly spread throughout my mouth.
When my grandfather was alive, he liked to enjoy tea in his spare time.
As the saying goes, good tea must be paired with good water, and she has tasted many famous mountain spring waters from various places since she was a child.
Water is formless and colorless, and they all look pretty much the same, but if you taste it carefully, you'll find that the texture and taste are quite different.
The well water I usually drink feels a bit hard, but this spiritual spring water has a smooth and soft texture, somewhat like a sticky pastry swirling in my mouth.
And the indescribable sweetness of the water seeps into the mouth and lips in delicate strands.
In the blink of an eye, the dry skin on Shu Ying's lips, which had been slightly peeling due to the lack of water for a long time, was smoothed out, and the slight pain in her back teeth, caused by anxiety and stress, also disappeared.
Shu Ying could clearly feel the water flowing down her throat, slowly soothing her thirst and dryness wherever it went.
Just one small sip and the burning thirst in my throat subsided by more than half.
Shu Ying was amazed and drank the whole glass of water.
The thirst completely disappeared. Shu Ying closed her eyes and opened them again. She felt that she was now sharp-witted and had a completely refreshed vision. Her depleted energy had almost been fully restored.
As she put the cup down, a few drops of water that had accidentally rolled down the outside of the cup while she was pouring it fell into Shu Ying's palm as she held the cup.
Shu Ying felt a slight itch in her palms. When she raised her hand, she discovered that the wound on her palms, which had been chafed by the stick, had miraculously healed by more than half.
If she had only found it amazing before, Shu Ying was now quite shocked.
She herself is a medical student, and she knows that even with medication, such a wound would take at least two or three days to heal.
Now, just a few drops of spring water have healed more than half of the wound in the blink of an eye.
Shu Ying, somewhat incredulous, poured the spring water into her palm again.
Wounds on skin that have been soaked in water heal rapidly at a speed visible to the naked eye.
In the blink of an eye, the skin was restored to its original state.
It seems the description I just saw was true; this water is indeed magical!
Shu Ying immediately thought of her two children, Yangyang and Yueyue.
Yangyang had just been drugged, and Yueyue was also very weak.
The description just said that this water can also nourish the body, so isn't it just right for the two children to drink?
Shu Ying immediately filled the teapot with spiritual spring water and hurried back with it.
When she returned to the room, the two children were still asleep.
Given Yangyang's condition, it's unclear how much medication he's been given; he probably won't wake up for a while. Yueyue is also fast asleep and unable to drink water on her own.
Shu Ying thought for a moment and remembered that the tools she used when she was studying medicine abroad were kept in a cabinet on the first floor. There were also a few clean syringes in there, which she could use.
Shu Ying immediately went downstairs to find the syringe, removed the needle, and meticulously cleaned the inside of the syringe again. She then drew the spiritual spring water into the tube, held the child's head, and placed the syringe nozzle against the child's lips, slowly dripping the water into the mouths of both children, strictly controlling the amount and speed of the water, while carefully observing the children's reactions.
