Chapter 9: Beating the Nanny and Taking Back Her Son

Zhang Ling pouted somewhat reluctantly: "I didn't expect to get any benefits from the young master. I just don't understand why we have to take this child with us when we're about to leave."
If he wants a son, she can have one for him!
With such a big butt, she could easily have eight sons. Shu Jie is handsome, and she's not bad-looking either. With their combined genes, their sons are sure to be good-looking!
Shu Jie bent down and gently patted her face: "Just do your job. I'll go check over there again. I'll come to your room tonight."
Zhang Ling blushed: "You're so annoying."
Shu Jie wrapped one arm around her neck and pinched her chin with the other, then kissed her without warning: "Remember to wash up and wait for me."
After he finished speaking, he took long strides and walked towards the dock.
Watching his retreating figure, Zhang Ling's eyes were filled with sweetness: "Young Master is simply the most handsome man in the world. Zhang Ling, you've eaten too well."
As soon as she finished speaking, she suddenly felt a chill down her back. Just as Zhang Ling was about to turn around to look, someone covered her mouth.
She was still holding Yangyang in her arms, her legs struggling. She had chosen this place because she was worried that Aunt Zhang would come looking for her.
The containers here are stacked up, creating a blind spot. You won't find this place unless you look carefully.
But now, she is in danger, unable to speak, and no one will notice immediately.
Shu Ying caught Yangyang immediately and quickly transferred him into the space.
Zhang Ling instinctively tried to snatch the child, but before she could turn around, Shu Ying picked up an iron bar from the boat and struck her on the neck.
Zhang Ling felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck, and the sea suddenly began to rock. She couldn't even call for help before her body went limp on the deck like a lump of mud.
Shu Ying looked at the two children who were still fast asleep in the room, and her heart finally settled down.
Now that the children are safe and sound, she's going to get rid of all the parasites in the Shu family.
Shu Jie was still completely unaware of what was happening. He pointed at the slowest porter and started cursing:
"Did I call you here to freeload? This is such a small amount of food, and you're still dawdling! If you delay my departure, none of you will get paid today. Hurry up and get to work! If anyone tries to pull any tricks under my nose, don't blame me for being ruthless!"
These porters started working in the morning and worked for half a day without even having time to drink water, but even so, Shu Jie still thought they were too slow.
The sun was high in the sky, and the moving was getting slower and slower. Some of the older workers were already struggling to keep up. Shu Jie glanced at the dock again, but no one came.
"What are my parents doing? I've told them to set sail at 12 o'clock sharp, but they always delay."
Rumors are circulating that the Shu family will be investigated today. Although they don't know what time those people will return, if they don't leave early, they might be kidnapped and suffer humiliation, not to mention being sent to the countryside.
The Shu family's legacy has been built here for generations, and they can't get used to the poor life in the countryside.
"It must be Shu Yan. She's always so slow and indecisive. She can't even hurry up at this crucial moment. It would have been better not to bring her along. All she does is hold us back!"
He muttered to himself, and the workers around him didn't dare to slack off at all. Just as he was about to board the ship again, Shu Ying came out from a corner, looked at the workers who were unloading, and stopped them.
"Hello, are all these things belonging to the Shu family? I am Shu Yan, the younger sister of Shu Jie from the ship. You don't need to move the rest of these things for now. My parents will be here soon. Thank you for your hard work today."
The group looked at each other in bewilderment. Just now, Shu Jie had complained that they were moving too slowly, so why didn't they have to move anymore?
However, the name that Shu Ying mentioned does match the one that Shu Jie just mentioned.
"What about our wages..."
Shu Ying quickly took out the belongings she had taken from Zhang Ling from her pocket: "I'm so sorry, it's such a hot day and you've worked for nothing. But don't worry, you'll still get paid the same amount. Consider this extra as a treat for your herbal tea."
The group of people beamed with joy, their dark skin adorned with simple, honest smiles: "Thank you so much, Miss. If you need any more work like this, please come back to us. We're very efficient."
Shu Ying was generous and wore clothes that ordinary people couldn't afford. Plus, she gave her name, so the group didn't suspect anything. They took their wages and left in a hurry.
Shu Ying still had a smile on her face. Only after everyone had left did she turn around and glance at the box.
Shu Xuecheng didn't have much to begin with, and he spent all the money his family gave him each month on women outside.
She could easily guess with her toes that this whole truckload of stuff was looted from the Shu family.
"Shu Xuecheng, do you think you can rest easy just because you've quietly moved these things out? Even if you're lucky enough to find them, you might not be lucky enough to spend them."
Time was of the essence, so Shu Ying jumped into the car without saying a word.
The boxes inside were stacked tightly together, one after another. These boxes were all very heavy. Although they were just a drop in the ocean compared to the open space in the old house, she wouldn't let go of a single item if it belonged to the Shu family.
Shu Ying snapped her fingers, and everything in the car was emptied.
Shu Jie stood on the boat, five or six minutes had passed since the last box was brought over, and he was furious: "These people are like tortoises, they're so slow and they still have the nerve to take my wages!"
He stormed off the boat, only to find that no one was on the car side.
Shu Jie was instantly enraged: "You shameless scoundrels, did I tell you to rest? I'm still waiting to set sail. You've taken my wages, but you don't want to work properly. I think you've had enough of a good life. You don't even listen to what I say!"
He was cursing and swearing, but Shu Ying heard the noise outside and calmly boarded the boat.
Just as Shu Jie was about to go look for someone, he heard footsteps approaching. Before he could even finish speaking, he saw that the person who came was Shu Ying.
Shu Jie was dumbfounded, thinking he had seen a ghost, and instinctively tried to back away.
Shu Ying found it amusing. She was wearing a light green dress, and her carefully styled long hair had delicate curls.
"Cousin, we're family, after all. You're leaving as soon as I wake up without even saying goodbye. Isn't that a bit rude?"
