◎Wedding Night◎

At the banquet in the front yard, Jiang He toasted everyone in turn. After doing so, her steps became unsteady. Su Yawan couldn't bear to watch any longer, so she asked Yuange to help her to the bridal chamber, lest she get completely drunk and complain the next day that she hadn't stopped her.

Jiang He looked a little drunk and even winked at Su Yawan. Upon seeing this, Su Yawan immediately let go of her hand, thinking that this guy was really good at pretending. She then said to Yuan Ge, "I think we don't need to make the hangover soup. Let her stay drunk."

At this moment, a servant whispered something in Su Yawan's ear, and she ignored Jiang He and hurriedly left the table.

Seeing that Jiang He was truly drunk, everyone let her off the hook. Jiang He's former friends were all heavy drinkers, and even though Jiang He could hold her liquor, she didn't want to be so drunk that she was unconscious when she saw Xue Lingyu.

Tonight is our wedding night.

Hearing footsteps outside, Xue Lingyu quickly put down the pastries in his hand, wiped his mouth in front of the mirror, and realized he hadn't eaten anything all day. These were secretly given to him by Xinyan to fill his stomach; otherwise, he would have fainted from hunger by now.

He sat upright on the edge of the bed, raising a fan to cover his face, waiting for Jiang He to come in.

As soon as Jiang He opened the door, she saw her little husband. He never finished what he was doing; the unfinished pastries were still clearly visible on the table, making it obvious that he had stolen some.

Jiang He couldn't help but laugh.

When Xue Lingyu saw the person walk up to him, he slowly took off his fan, revealing his face. Under the warm light of the lamp, his face became even more beautiful and charming, and his eyes were full of Jiang He's image.

Xue Lingyu's breathing became tense; he never expected that Jiang He's first words to him would be...

"Did you sneak some food?"

Xue Lingyu was stunned for a moment, then touched his mouth guiltily to make sure there were no marks left on the corner of his mouth. But Jiang He saw through it at a glance, which made him somewhat unconvinced.

How did you know?

Seeing that he still looked so self-righteous, Jiang He placed her hand on his lips and stroked them, saying, "You've eaten all the lip rouge."

Actually, it wasn't completely gone; Jiang He wiped it off, and it really was all gone.

She took Xue Lingyu's hand, led him to the dressing table, and opened a lip rouge box, intending to touch up his makeup herself.

"Why do we need to replenish it? We'll all be gone soon..." Xue Lingyu asked, puzzled. After he finished speaking, he noticed that Jiang He was staring at him and suddenly realized what inappropriate words he had said.

He immediately sat up obediently, and Jiang He lifted his chin and carefully applied lip rouge to his lips.

Xue Lingyu's eyelashes were thick and long. Looking at them up close, Jiang He's body heat gradually increased. After applying lipstick, she pulled Xue Lingyu onto her lap and whispered in her ear, "Tell me, what do you want me to do?"

"With your mouth, or..." Jiang He grabbed Xue Lingyu's hand and moved it downwards.

Xue Lingyu muttered in embarrassment, "You scoundrel!"

"Our names are already on the marriage certificate. What I do to my husband isn't considered immoral. Or am I just being too proper?" Jiang He's hands began to wander.

The night is long, and waiting for the red candle to burn out is not something that can be done in an hour or two.

Xue Lingyu, slightly out of breath, wrapped her arms around her neck and whispered, "If you want to, don't do it on the stool."

His back is bad; it'll hurt terribly.

"You're hungry again so soon?" Jiang He raised an eyebrow and tightened her grip on his waist.

Xue Lingyu's face was already flushed from the teasing, and his body was also changing. It was their wedding night, so it was okay to do whatever he wanted. Just as he was about to touch Jiang He's lips, Jiang He said to herself, "I'll show you something good."

She took out a handkerchief from her bosom, on which was embroidered a crooked plum blossom. If Xue Lingyu hadn't loved plum blossoms, she certainly wouldn't have recognized it.

"This handkerchief is for you."

Xue Lingyu looked at the handkerchief in his hand, somewhat puzzled. He had never seen such clumsy needlework before. Even a novice embroidery student could embroider better than this. But when he saw the needle marks on Jiang He's fingers, he understood.

This was embroidered by Jiang He herself.

Jiang He's muffled voice rang in his ear, "I originally wanted to embroider it on the wedding dress, but I was afraid of ruining it, so I embroidered a handkerchief to give to you instead."

Xue Lingyu's gaze immediately changed as he looked at the handkerchief. He carefully put it away and said with emotion, "Thank you, I like it very much."

"Don't put it away yet." Jiang He suddenly grabbed his hand, cleared her throat, and said, "We'll need it later."

Xue Lingyu was puzzled. What other tricks could she possibly play with this handkerchief?

Jiang He said in a low, husky voice, "You're like water; I want your scent to linger on my handkerchief."

After she finished speaking, she began to feed Xue Lingyu.

Xue Lingyu felt Jiang He's breath filling her mouth; Jiang He's lips pressed against hers, restrained yet gentle.

Xue Lingyu knelt on top, feeling as if the water in her abdomen was about to burst.

This was their wedding night, and they had given themselves to each other, body and soul.

Today, everyone in the capital is focused on the Jiang family's grand wedding. Even in the palace of the Imperial Concubine Xue, many palace servants are discussing it. The Emperor himself went to the Jiang family's house for a while, while the Imperial Concubine Xue stayed in his room all day.

It wasn't that he didn't want to go to his nephew's wedding, but rather that he knew there would be a lot of people there, and he didn't like such a lively atmosphere.

His favorite thing is quiet, the quieter the better, where only his breathing and heartbeat can be heard.

He couldn't resist taking a sip of the fruit wine, but he really had no tolerance for alcohol at all. He choked on it, his eyes turned red, and most of the wine spilled onto his thin clothes, even wetting his hair.

Seeing this, Su Yawan tentatively called out, "Doctor?"

News came from the palace that Consort Xue wanted to see her.

Since that absurd incident, Xue Taifu had never seen her alone again. Su Yawan thought that Xue Taifu did not want to have anything to do with her anymore, so she did not take the initiative to request to enter the palace.

One was a high-ranking official, and the other was a confidant of the emperor; it seemed that the two should never have any romantic relationship in their lives.

When Xue Taifu heard Su Yawan call him, he slammed his wine cup on the table, looking angry, and reminded her, "Call me Azi."

He was clearly drunk.

As soon as Su Yawan approached, she smelled the fragrance emanating from Xue Taifu. Perhaps noticing her slight frown, Xue Taifu's soft, boneless hand tugged at her collar, and his lips parted as he chuckled, "Do you know that the day I burned incense in the inner room, a kind of incense that can make you lose your mind?"

That's why the two of them did such a shameful thing.

Normally, no one would be willing to take such a big risk to touch a widow.

Su Yawan lowered his eyes and said, "Your Majesty, I understand."

Xue Taifu laughed out loud, but moved even closer to Su Yawan, close enough to touch her face.

"I deliberately seduced you, wanting to have sex with you, wanting to see you cherish me, be infatuated with me, and be with me." Xue Taifu laughed foolishly.

He didn't know what was wrong with him today, that he was spouting such nonsense, but he hadn't been this unrestrained in a long time.

The four sides of the palace have imprisoned him for many years.

Su Yawan hugged him and said with pursed lips, "Azi, I know."

She willingly took the bait, willingly succumbed to this man; the fragrance in the room merely added to her enjoyment.

"So you like me?"

Suyawan nodded seriously.

Xue Taifu buried his face in her neck, his voice tinged with grievance, "Why didn't you come looking for me? I've been alone in the palace these past few days, all I see when I open my eyes are white walls. Sometimes I feel like I'm no different from being dead."

He has never shown his true self to anyone.

Perhaps the effects of the alcohol had worn off, and Xue Taifu regained some of his senses. He had truly drunk himself into a stupor today, actually summoning Su Yawan to the palace. It was already so late; he couldn't very well send her out of the palace now.

Lying in Su Yawan's arms, Xue Taifu felt a sense of peace as he listened to her increasingly rapid heartbeat. He thought it best to sleep there for the night and recharge.

Su Yawan took his words to heart. She realized that Xue Taifu was thinking of her, which made her feel incredibly honored and excited.

"Your Majesty, I know I was wrong. I will definitely find a way to visit the palace more often to accompany Azi in the future," Su Yawan solemnly promised to Xue Taifu.

In the end, it's unclear who got drunk, but Su Yawan did taste the fruit wine.

She carried the man back to the inner room. Today, there was no incense or candles, only her overflowing affection.

After he finished drying up, Xue Taifu's cold expression returned. He prepared to get dressed and stand up, but unexpectedly, the woman behind him bit him hard on the neck. He couldn't help but frown, but was pulled back. The increasingly intense warmth completely melted his icy heart, and the budding woman's waist swayed and made a sound.

A clear tooth mark was left on the wisteria flower, but Suyawan refused to let go and continued to diligently add water.

Looking out the window, Xue Taifu said breathlessly, "The moon in the sky is full now."

He did not drink the contraceptive soup afterwards, which means it happened twice.

His biggest secret wasn't that he was a virgin, but that he still had the ability to reproduce. The potent drug, "Red Beauty Elixir," was only effective on men who had experienced sexual intercourse. That concubine, after much thought, probably never imagined that the late emperor had never even touched him.

All the so-called affection was fake; no one ever truly loved him.

Back then, Imperial Physician Jiang left the palace to protect this secret, which even Ji Weinian didn't know.

He lay down next to Su Yawan and snuggled closer to her. Su Yawan felt his warmth and held him tightly even in her sleep.

Xue Taifu stared at her eyes and brows, smiling like a fox that could bewitch all beings.

This was his first woman, and from now on, she could only be his.
