A large number of staff members were gathered at the main entrance, with cameras and lighting rigs crammed in, clearly busy, making it impossible to get in. Su Yingxue tiptoed and peered around, her gaze landing on an inconspicuous little door on the side, which seemed passable.

She gritted her teeth and struggled to drag her luggage toward the side door. Just as she was about to step inside, she caught a glimpse of a familiar figure out of the corner of her eye, and her steps faltered instantly.

In the courtyard, Hu Xiaoguang was holding a thick program plan in one hand and gesturing to the photographer in front of him with the other, while muttering instructions on the shooting details.

Unlike his lazy and listless appearance during the last advertisement shoot, where he slumped in his chair for ages, he looked much more energetic today. He was still wearing his signature floral shirt, with the cuffs casually rolled up to his elbows, revealing his well-defined forearms. His skin was a healthy tan, and his beanie was perched on his head at an angle. The stray hairs under the brim swayed gently as he spoke, giving him a more polished look than usual.

"Director Xiao Guang." Su Yingxue called out tentatively, her voice cutting through the rustling sounds in the courtyard and reaching Hu Xiaoguang's ears precisely.

Hu Xiaoguang stopped talking, took off his black-rimmed glasses, rubbed his eyes, looked up at Su Yingxue at the door, sized her up for a while, and then slowly said, "You're the chef that girl Shen Yu specially recommended to me?"

"Of course, who else but me could have this skill?" Su Yingxue puffed out her chest, shook the canvas bag in her hand, her tone full of confidence, but her eyes were fixed on her luggage, making her intentions clear.

Hu Xiaoguang stopped teasing her and called out into the yard, "Xiao Liu!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a young girl with a high ponytail and wearing blue overalls ran out quickly, a sweet smile on her face, and asked Hu Xiaoguang, "Director Hu, what's wrong?"
