Chapter 208 Almost Killed
Si Yuan looked up and saw Ji Song as expected.
She looked incredulous and shrank back in fear: "How did you get here?"
"Because, it was I who managed to bring you here."
Ji Song sat down with a calm and composed smile on his face, clearly having already guessed Si Yuan's reaction.
Si Yuan didn't know what he was going to do, but she still thought he was crazy.
As she spoke, she was about to lift the blanket and get out of there, to leave this place.
As soon as his feet touched the ground, his body suddenly went limp, and he knelt down heavily.
The next second, Ji Song caught her.
Ji Song acted like a gentleman, helping Si Yuan back to bed with care, ignoring the disgust and shock on her face, and naturally taking the water glass from her hand.
She smiled and said, "The effects of the medicine haven't worn off yet; it's dangerous for you to move around like this."
Si Yuan thought he had gone mad.
She instantly guessed that what happened last night was Ji Song's doing.
Where is my friend?
"Don't worry." Ji Song shrugged and reassured her, "I'm not interested in her. She's already left."
Si Yuan's anxious heart finally relaxed a little.
She looked at him: "What exactly do you want?"
Ji Song also stared at Si Yuan.
“I think what you said to me five years ago made a lot of sense. So you see, I dyed my hair back.”
Si Yuan didn't actually remember what she had said.
He just thought this person was crazy.
What does his hair have to do with her?
Ji Song continued, "Over the years, I've been thinking about why I can't forget you. It's probably because... I can easily get everything except you. Perhaps, if I slept with you, I would find that you're nothing special."
Si Yuan's fingers tightened suddenly, and her gaze towards Ji Song changed.
Ji Song slowly got up, turned around and closed the door.
Si Yuan stepped back, warning him at the same time, "Ji Song, this is a crime!"
Upon hearing this, Ji Song paused, then chuckled at Si Yuan's words.
"Please, this is a port city."
He continued forward, unbuttoning his shirt.
"No one can enter my territory."
His smile vanished as he looked at Si Yuan's fearful gaze and at how she avoided him like the plague.
Why are you always so afraid of me?
"Ultimately, have I ever hurt you?"
"Lin Shuangyu treated you like that, yet you weren't this afraid when you looked at her. Song Yan even betrayed you a great deal, yet you've been able to live with him in Nancheng for so many years. I haven't done anything to you, so why do you hate me so much and fear me?"
"Why?"
Si Yuan forced himself to calm down; at this moment, he absolutely could not provoke such a madman who would stop at nothing.
She said, "Ji Song, I have no grudge against you, there's no need for us to come to this!"
Ji Song looked at her feigned composure and smiled with amusement: "I never expected to see you being so nice to me."
Si Yuan's face showed a bewildered expression.
The fact that it's so quiet outside means this isn't a regular hospital ward.
Si Yuan's heart sank heavily, knowing that it would be very difficult for her to escape again.
She compromised, trying to calm him down.
"Ji Song, let me go. As long as you let me go, everything is negotiable."
Ji Song walked up to her, tidied her hair, and asked, "Are you begging me, Miss Si?"
Si Yuan's throat bobbed slightly, and she slowly said, "Yes, I beg you."
Ji Song smiled, seemingly pleased with those words.
But the next second, his expression changed: "I don't accept your pleas for mercy, sorry."
Having said that, she leaned over and covered him.
Si Yuan panicked completely, her whole body tensed up, and she pressed her hands tightly against Ji Song's chest.
Her eyes showed fear and resistance as she struggled to hold back her tears: "Ji Song, let me go!"
Upon hearing this, Ji Song loosened his grip slightly, but did not completely back away, still trapping her between the hospital bed and himself, with his nose no more than an inch away from hers.
Looking down at her reddened eyes, a hint of amusement flickered in his gaze. He gently brushed Si Yuan's face with his fingertips and said, "So scared? I'm not going to eat you."
"But what you're doing now is no different from hurting me."
Ji Song chuckled softly, raising an eyebrow nonchalantly: "Perhaps. But I'm more honest than them; I've always said what I want openly and honestly."
"Lin Shuangyu bullied you, and Song Yan wronged you for years, and you could tolerate it all. Why are you so disgusted with me?"
"Jiang Wang has everything, and you're even devoted to him. Why is that? If he knew, wouldn't he be very upset?"
Ji Song thought of Jiang Wang, his eyes darkened, and he could no longer restrain himself, wanting to lower his head and kiss her.
Si Yuan was utterly desperate. Her back was pressed against the headboard, her hands pressed tightly against his chest, every inch of her muscles resisting.
"Don't touch me." Si Yuan's voice trembled as she warned him one last time, "Ji Song, if you dare take another step—"
Before she could finish speaking, Ji Song suddenly gripped her shoulder with such force that it felt like he was going to crush her bones.
The playfulness in his eyes faded, leaving only a sinister look of unbearable frustration.
"What can you do? Jiang Wang can't save you, he's thousands of miles away!"
There was no light outside the window; the heavy curtains blocked out all the light, making it seem like an abyss, dragging Si Yuan down.
Si Yuan didn't know why she was always the one who got hurt.
What did she do wrong?
As if she had lost all will to live, Si Yuan turned her head away in despair and struggled.
At that moment, Jiang Wang's face suddenly flashed through her mind.
At that moment, the only person she felt she had wronged was Jiang Wang.
Suddenly, with a loud bang, the door was kicked open.
Light is shining in.
A sudden, powerful force struck, and Ji Song felt a weight on the back of his neck as he was abruptly lifted off the bed.
Immediately afterwards, a heavy fist slammed into his face.
A sharp pain exploded within him, and Ji Song staggered and fell to the ground, blood instantly spilling from the corner of his lips.
He looked up blankly, and in the dim light, he saw the person in front of him, a look of surprise flashing in his eyes.
How could it be Jiang Wang?
Si Yuan slowly opened her eyes, and when she saw that familiar face, her taut nerves snapped.
"Jiang Wang..."
Jiang Wang looked at her, his gaze falling on Si Yuan's disheveled collar and reddened eyes, and his last remaining rationality completely collapsed.
He bent down, grabbed Ji Song by the collar, pulled him up from the ground, and slammed his other fist down without hesitation.
Punch after punch, the dull thuds echoing in the closed ward, mingled with Ji Song's painful groans.
Jiang Wang's movements were swift and ruthless, without any rhyme or reason. His eyes were devoid of any warmth, filled only with surging violence, as if he wanted to kill this person.
Ji Song gradually came to his senses amidst the pain, with blood from his nose mixed with blood from the corner of his mouth flowing down.
He tried to resist, but Jiang Wang's strength was astonishing, and his eyes were devoid of any warmth, only filled with a madness that burned everything. He couldn't move and could only let out a painful groan.
"Jiang Wang...you're fucking insane!" Ji Song roared incoherently, trying to pry his hands off.
Jiang ignored him and continued to hit him, grabbing his collar.
Si Yuan propped herself up on the edge of the bed, her legs still weak, and waves of dizziness from the lingering effects of the medication washed over her.
She looked at Jiang Wang at this moment, who seemed to be so crazy that he wanted to die together with Ji Song.
Vice President Chen, who had come in with Jiang Wang, was the first to react. He glanced behind him and hurriedly said, "President Jiang, the police are almost here! Stop it!"
Jiang ignored it.
The assistant hesitated, then said, "Mr. Jiang, if the reporters take pictures of you... you..."
Si Yuan returned to the country, but she was also afraid that Jiang Wang would cause trouble.
So, supporting her limp body, she got out of bed, staggered over, and grabbed Jiang Wang's arm: "Jiang Wang, stop hitting him... stop hitting him! Someone will die!"
Jiang Wang's movements suddenly stopped.
He looked back at her, the violence in his eyes fading slightly, leaving only a deep, tender heartache.
He raised his blood-stained hand, not daring to touch her face for fear of soiling it.
"I am here."
His voice was very low, with a barely perceptible tremor.
"Don't be afraid, I'm here."
Ji Song collapsed to the ground, his chest heaving violently, each breath accompanied by excruciating pain.
He watched Jiang Wang protecting Si Yuan, his eyes surging with resentment, but he didn't even have the strength to get up.
