Chapter 22 Give Me a Kiss
Chen Mo looked up and his expression suddenly changed.
She tensed up and took a step back, creating distance between herself and Si Yuan.
Si Yuan sensed something was wrong, turned around following his gaze, and their eyes met.
It is Jiang Wang.
He wore a black silk shirt with the top two buttons undone, and a lit cigarette was between his fingers, the crimson flame flickering in the dim light.
His eyes were cold and dark.
He squinted at Chen Mo, raised an eyebrow, and casually repeated, "Say it?"
Chen Mo was completely dumbfounded.
He never expected that Jiang Wang would be the one blocking his way.
Not to mention him, even the current chairman of TY doesn't have the opportunity to see Jiang Wang whenever he wants.
As a result, the initial arrogance of wanting to support Si Yuan vanished instantly.
Chen Mo called out in a tight, low voice, "Hello, President Jiang."
Si Yuan pursed her lips and remained silent.
As expected.
Jiang Wang scoffed, "Idiot."
He then turned to look at Si Yuan, slightly raising his chin, and said only one word: "Go."
Si Yuan wanted to get rid of Chen Mo's entanglement, so she didn't hesitate and followed Jiang Wang out.
Chen Mo behind him slowly closed his eyes, his heart filled with regret and speechlessness.
What happened?
Why is it that every time he tries to find Si Yuan, the obstacles that appear become more and more difficult to deal with?
Good heavens!
——
Jiang Wang walked ahead, his steps leisurely.
Si Yuan followed behind, head down, seemingly lost in thought.
So much so that he suddenly stopped without warning, and the next second, I bumped into his back hard.
A warm touch came, and her nose hurt a little, so she hurriedly stepped back.
"Excuse me."
Jiang Wang then turned around.
He lowered his eyes, his gaze fixed on her face, and his voice was low.
"Next time you encounter someone like that, use the same attitude you had when you argued with me, and just refuse them. Understand?"
Si Yuan paused, and when she looked at him, her eyes still held a hint of bewilderment from the collision.
She thought for a moment and said, "You don't need to worry about social niceties, I still want more."
"Social skills?" Jiang Wang chuckled. "Social skills come after social skills. You've only learned social skills, but what about 'social skills'?"
Si Yuan's voice was numb, but she felt there was some truth to it: "I know, I'll learn slowly."
Jiang Wang stared at her drooping eyelashes, his tone tinged with impatience: "What exactly did your brother teach you? He'll never learn to take care of himself, he only knows how to be endlessly good to you, coaxing you to follow him around like a shadow. Once you're completely dependent on him, he just pats his hands and walks away?"
Upon hearing Jiang Wang belittle Song Yan, Si Yuan felt a sense of resistance.
It's not wrong for her brother to be good to her.
She's the one who's wrong... that's how it should be.
Because everyone says that she is the one in the wrong.
"It's not appropriate to talk about these things in our relationship."
Jiang Wang stubbed out his cigarette against the wall of the nearby trash can, sparks flew up and then went out.
He took half a step forward, his breath carrying the scent of tobacco as he approached: "What's our relationship?"
Si Yuan's Adam's apple bobbed as those rumors about him suddenly resurfaced.
To Jiang Wang, there was probably no difference between himself and those women.
In fact, lovers are lovers, and strangers are not strangers.
Will Jiang Wang also interfere in their private lives?
Si Yuan curled her hands at her sides, perhaps because she was too tired, and her eyes were a little sore.
But she didn't dare look Jiang Wang in the eye, and only asked in a hoarse voice, "Mr. Jiang, what do you think our relationship should be?"
The air was still for two seconds.
Jiang Wang ran his fingertips along the lingering heat of the cigarette butt, his gaze fixed intently on the top of her head.
"Si Yuan, when will you finally learn to dislike him?"
When will I finally be able to see others?
Isn't it enough that you've tormented yourself to the point of depression?
Si Yuan didn't understand what he meant.
She stood there, stunned, without saying a word.
Because she didn't know the answer either.
People don't deceive themselves; deep down you know the answer.
Before she returned to China, she did indeed think about never liking Song Yan again.
But Song Yan seems to have changed.
He wants to celebrate his own birthday, and he'll be unhappy because of himself; he seems to care about himself more than before.
Si Yuan wished she could stop liking him.
But she really wanted to be his sister for life.
So she could only remain silent.
Jiang Wang waited for a long time without receiving a response. Seeing her lowered eyelashes and escapist look, the pent-up anger in his chest surged up instantly.
She had no idea that Song Yan cared about her more now.
It's just that I can't accept that the backup plan that's always been following me around will one day slip out of my control.
Song Yan wouldn't teach Si Yuan anything useful because he felt it was unnecessary. Si Yuan didn't need to live like a normal person; she just needed to stay under his watchful eye for the rest of her life.
So when he saw that Si Yuan had developed her own consciousness, he began to coerce and entice her, occasionally showing her some kindness, and continued to manipulate her back into his control.
Si Yuan habitually denies her own feelings; she longs for family affection and for Song Yan's kindness, so it's too easy to seduce her back.
But Jiang Wang had no choice.
Because he wasn't the one who first appeared in her life and brightened her dark world.
He was not the one playing the role of savior.
The script he received was terrible.
Jiang Wang could only huff and puff, slamming down each word clearly: "Si Yuan, I'm angry!"
Si Yuan was completely bewildered by his sudden change in tone.
She looked up, her eyes still clouded with confusion, and after a couple of seconds of hesitation, she hurriedly said, "Then, I'm sorry..."
"Stop saying sorry all the time." Jiang Wang interrupted her, saying in an unyielding tone, "Your brother didn't teach you this, but I'm teaching you now: don't apologize to people so easily in the future. If he's wrong, there's no need to apologize to him; if you're wrong, then he deserves it, understand?"
Si Yuan blinked.
That seems a bit overbearing.
But when applied to Jiang Wang, it strangely fits his consistent style.
This time, Si Yuan didn't argue as usual; instead, she obediently nodded.
She was silent for a moment, then looked up at Jiang Wang: "Now that you're angry, what am I supposed to do?"
Jiang Wang hadn't really intended to be angry with her, and seeing her obediently asking questions, his anger subsided considerably.
My heart melted.
He gently tugged at her sleeve, coaxing and cajoling, "Others don't need to, but I'm different. If I'm unhappy, you have to coax me."
Si Yuan looked bewildered for a moment.
She's never coaxed anyone before.
But she sensed the seductive undertone in Jiang Wang's voice.
How can I comfort you?
Jiang Wang didn't speak, but took a step closer.
Si Yuan instinctively stepped back.
It wasn't until my back hit the cold car door that I had no way to retreat.
The next second, Jiang Wang leaned down and enveloped her with his warm breath.
He stared at her reddened lips, his voice low and husky, "Give me a kiss."
