"Damn, Ryan, Jenny, how come you're in such good shape?" James Mangold looked at the three of them in amazement. "Look at us, we look like we're about to die."
I was even blessed by Master Rosen, yet I still feel terrible; I can't compare to you guys at all.
He suddenly remembered something: "Damn, was what you told me yesterday true? You really are an exorcist master?"
Cao Kun: "I've said before that I wasn't joking."
James Mangold's expression immediately turned somewhat strange.
He said nothing more, walked back to Douglas-Wick, and said, "Cao told me yesterday that he could perform exorcisms. I thought he was joking, but now it seems he really can."
Not only was he alright himself, but he also helped Ryan and Jenny overcome their negative emotions.
Upon hearing this, Master Rosen's face immediately darkened, and his gaze toward Cao Kun was filled with vigilance.
He turned to James Mangold, Douglas Wick, and the chubby white man from the insurance company and said, "Let's find a place. I have something important to discuss with you."
James Mangold looked around and said, "There's nowhere else here, we'll have to go inside to talk."
"Then let's go in." Master Rosen didn't seem to care much.
James Mangold hesitated for a long time before finally mustering his courage and following him inside.
Seeing the four people leave, Cao Kun quietly left the crowd and entered the hospital from the side.
"Huh! Where did Cao go?" Ryan Reynolds looked around, but couldn't see Cao Kun anywhere.
Upon entering the hospital, Cao Kun quickly spotted the four people and led them into the director's temporary office.
He stood outside the door and, without much effort, heard the conversation inside.
Master Rosen said in a serious tone, "If you want me to help you with this matter, you must agree to two conditions."
Producer Douglas Wick asked, "What are the conditions?"
Master Rosen: "I don't like that guy who claims to be an exorcist. Let him leave."
James Mangold quickly replied, "Cao is not only an exorcist, but also an actor we hired. He has a role in the film crew, and his scenes haven't been finished yet, so it's not appropriate for him to leave."
Master Rosen said without allowing any further explanation, "This is your business, it has nothing to do with me, and I don't want to see this person again."
Before James Mangold could say anything more, Douglas Wick said, "I'll listen to Master Rosen; I'll let this guy go in a bit. Mark, what do you think?"
The chubby man said, "Resolving this matter is the priority. He's just an insignificant actor; let him go."
Seeing that both of them had expressed their opinions, James Mangold could only remain silent and agree.
Master Rosen was fairly satisfied with the three's attitude, and then said, "This matter is very serious. As you have all seen, you are all in very bad condition. Death is already beckoning to you."
If this is not dealt with quickly, death could appear at any moment and take your lives.
"At that time, even my Lord will not be able to save you."
The three men shuddered, and Douglas Wick hurriedly said, "Master Rosen, what other conditions do you have? Please tell us."
Master Rosen: "Clearing the evil spirits from this hospital will not resolve the negative states within each of you."
"If you want me to exorcise them, each of you will need to pay me an additional $20,000."
The three people's expressions immediately changed.
The entire crew consisted of over 100 people, and each person received $20,000, which would amount to over $2 million.
Their total budget is only $40 million, and this is more than one-twentieth of that.
Taking in the expressions of the three men, Master Rosen's face turned cold: "Or, you can just not resolve this and wait for death to knock on your door. If two more people die, the compensation will be more than this."
"Master Rosen, please don't misunderstand, that's not what we meant." The three men looked very grim.
Especially Douglas and Mark from the insurance company, they'll be the ones who suffer the most if something goes wrong.
James didn't look too good either. If this kind of thing blows up, who in the industry will dare to use him in the future?
Douglas looked troubled: "But this price is too high, we can't afford it. Can you make it cheaper?"
The two sides began negotiations, and in the end, they agreed on a package price of 1.2 million.
Master Rosen concealed the fleeting joy on his face and said, "Alright, 1.2 million it is, but I have one more condition."
Douglas Wick suppressed his impatience: "Please speak."
Master Rosen: "I will bless Angelina Jolie and Winona Ryder separately in a special way."
You need to cooperate with me on this matter.
Having been in Hollywood for so many years, these three men certainly understood what Master Rosen meant.
After the three cursed him inwardly for being shameless, Douglas Wick said, "No problem. It is their honor to receive Master Rosen's blessing. They are grateful beyond words."
Master Rosen could no longer hide the joy on his face: "In that case, let's get rid of that bastard first so we can get started as soon as possible."
Douglas looked at James Mangold: "James, you go."
Cao Kun quietly slipped into the shadows of the hospital, his expression incredibly complex.
He knew that Master Rosen was greedy, but he never imagined he would be this greedy.
Not only did he pocket $1.2 million, but he also tried to sexually harass Angelina and others.
"I didn't know you could play like this."
Cao Kun felt like he had been taught a lesson.
This guy is wearing a priest's robe; even if he's not a member of the church, he must have a deep connection with it.
The church preaches that God loves the world and that everyone is God's people, yet it's so despicable.
As for Master Rosen's desire to expel him, Cao Kun didn't take it to heart.
Who would bother arguing with a dead person?
Director James went out and searched around for a while, then hurriedly returned to the office: "I didn't see Cao, he's probably already left."
Master Rosen stared at James with a cold expression: "Are you sure you're not lying to me?"
James broke out in a sweat under their gaze: "Really, he's not here. Nobody else has seen him either, and his phone is off."
Master Rosen pondered for a moment: "Never mind him."
The four men left the office, and Master Rosen asked the other three, "Would you like to come in with me, or wait outside?"
The three quickly stepped back, and the chubby Mark said, "Master Rosen, you have the protection of the Lord, but we don't. You go and exorcise the evil spirits; we'll wait here for your triumphant return."
Master Rosen smiled faintly: "As long as you firmly believe in the Lord, you will also receive His protection."
After saying this, he straightened his priest's robe, strode into the depths of the hospital, and quickly disappeared from sight.
