Inside the room, she stared intently at herself in the mirror. Her once bright and beautiful face was now distorted and ugly. She ripped off the red ribbon from her head, quickly stripped off her eye-catching performance costume, and haphazardly put on a drab old military uniform.

She's going to go see!

She wanted to see for herself what kind of woman was who married Lu Linchuan, and what made her so special that she could marry Lu Linchuan!

That woman comes from a capitalist background, how could she be worthy of Lu Linchuan!

Zheng Nana took a few deep breaths, tied her hair up, found a bag of apples in her dormitory, opened the door, and strode towards Lu Linchuan's house.

Standing at the entrance to Lu Linchuan's courtyard, Zheng Nana gripped the rope of the net tightly, her fingernails almost digging into her palms.

"Knock knock knock".

She raised her hand and knocked on the door with great force, as if she wanted to knock out all the resentment in her heart.

The door opened.

A woman opened the door, wearing a light pink floral dress that made her skin appear radiantly white. Her long, jet-black hair was loosely tied back, revealing her smooth forehead and slender neck.

Her features were exquisitely beautiful, especially her eyes, which were clear and calm, like a pool of water.

In contrast, Zheng Nana's skin appeared dull and yellowish, making her once-proud beauty pale in comparison.

Zheng Nana had prepared a whole host of questions and provocations, but when she saw Su Wantang's face, they all got stuck in her throat.

The flames of jealousy suddenly burned even brighter.

"Hello, who are you looking for?" Su Wantang's voice was clear and cold, like a mountain spring.

She held the apple forward, as if to assert her identity.

Su Wantang sensed the unfriendly look in the woman's eyes. She frowned, but didn't pay much attention. Since she was here for Lu Linchuan, she wanted to see what this woman wanted to do. "Please come in. Linchuan hasn't returned yet."

Zheng Nana walked into the courtyard, looking around.

On the clothes rack in the yard, a men's shirt was swaying gently in the wind.

She recognized the style and color even with her eyes closed—it belonged to Lu Linchuan!

Next to the shirt was a simple women's dress, the shoulder straps almost tangled with the shirt sleeves.

Those are this woman's clothes!

Seeing the man and woman's clothes drying in the yard, Zheng Nana couldn't help but imagine the two of them lying on the bed, disheveled, doing the most intimate things between a man and a woman...
