Chapter 292 Eyes and Ears Are Completely Dirty
Reading Settings
After Bai Nuo arrived at the designated area, he parted ways with Liu Yanan. At 2 p.m., there were hardly any people in the family area. Some were at work, some were at school, and most of those who didn't have jobs or didn't need to go to school were chatting and playing outside.
Bai Nuo, wrapped in a black trench coat and clutching his sniper rifle, quickly spotted a residential building and ran up to it.
This residential area is mostly made up of tenement buildings. The locks on the rooftop doors are no different from paper to Bai Nuo. He doesn't even need to use his superpowers; he can just gently squeeze them open.
On the rooftop, someone's quilts and sheets were hanging out to dry. A gentle breeze blew, causing the sheets to sway, and the bright sunlight shone on the ground, bringing a sense of comfort and crisp autumn air.
However, what does all this have to do with Bai Nuo? She's not here to admire the scenery; she's here to kill.
He turned around and closed the rooftop door tightly. His palm brushed against the handrail inside the door, and a green light flashed. A bright green vine appeared out of thin air and tightly wrapped around the handrail to prevent anyone from coming up later.
She's a special agent with a proper job now, so she'd rather not do things like silencing people so easily.
Bai Nuo found a good spot, lay down, set up his sniper rifle, and aimed the muzzle directly at one of the windows on the third floor of a residential building across the street.
That was a two-bedroom apartment with only two windows facing the same direction. Bai Nuo aimed at one of them, while Liu Yanan had already successfully climbed up to the other window and was now clinging to it like a gecko. However, her expression was not good, and her gaze kept glancing at the window with its curtains tightly closed on the lower left.
Bai Nuo raised an eyebrow, thinking there must be something fishy behind that family's curtains.
At this moment, Fang Meng's figure also appeared on the opposite rooftop. As the commander-in-chief, he was essentially the communicator between the three of them. After all, none of the four of them had handheld radios, let alone the wearable, concealed radio transceivers from the Russians. They could only rely on hand signals from the middle.
Seeing Fang Meng's strenuous efforts, Bai Nuo suddenly felt that manufacturing walkie-talkies could be put on the agenda, after modifying the car.
She could no longer tolerate that beat-up car with almost no shock absorption, a top speed of only 90 mph, and a horrible blemish that let in drafts everywhere.
With everyone ready, Bai Nuo could clearly see the people who had been chatting in a group downstairs being quietly dispersed by the arriving Fang Meng team members.
In an instant, the entire apartment building was put on pause, and all sounds fell silent.
After Fang Meng made the gesture, Bai Nuo stood up slightly and made a neck-slitting motion towards Liu Yanan.
The next second, a loud bang came from the main entrance, followed by the sound of glass shattering. Fang Meng on the roof jumped down and quickly reached the third-floor window along a long black rope.
On the rooftop not far away, a sniper rifle was pointed at the window on the third floor. A scream rang out, completely shattering the previous tranquility.
The scope clearly showed An Yun kicking open the door and rushing into the room, her dagger flying out. The person inside instinctively reached out to grab the person tied to the living room chair, but a bullet flew in and instantly and accurately pierced that hand.
Blood dripped onto the concrete floor of the living room instantly. Liu Yanan, who broke in through the window, didn't even glance at the vicious enemy agent before leaping towards the bound hostage. Fang Meng followed closely behind, kicking the ordinary-looking, short, long-haired man.
Bai Nuo glanced at it again, then put away his gun, stood up, turned around, and quickly left the rooftop.
I don’t know if it’s because their squad has been handing over mostly dead enemy agents lately, but before coming to the mountain city, the higher-ups specifically instructed that they must capture them alive this time. Otherwise, why go through all this trouble? As long as the target is within her firing range, her bullets will definitely pierce through that person’s brain.
"It's all settled. We should be able to go back to Kaiyuan City now, right?" An Yun looked at Fang Meng, who was pushing her down, with a tired expression.
Fang Meng handed the man in his hand to the brothers who came over to take over, then nodded: "I'll arrange for someone to hand this over, and we can call it a day."
The two had just finished speaking when they turned around and saw the two girls who had met up whispering to each other.
"You have no idea what I saw, it was so painful for my eyes!" Liu Yanan said, her face contorted in pain, as she put her arm around Bai Nuo's shoulder, leaned her head against him, and muttered softly.
“Your expression doesn’t seem quite right. There must be someone in that room. I saw the curtains move, and I could vaguely see two figures inside.” Bai Nuo said, wrapping the sniper rifle tightly in his coat while leaning close to Liu Yanan, his eyes filled with excitement.
That's the excitement of finding something fun!
"There aren't two!" Liu Yanan wiped her face in anguish, then continued to whisper, "There are three people inside. One man looks to be about fifty, and the other two are women, one in her thirties and the other younger."
He wasn't wearing anything, and the middle-aged man's penis was so small, it looked like an earthworm. I felt a chill for him.
And guess what happened!
When Liu Yanan got excited, she released Bai Nuo from her embrace, pointed her thumb at her little finger, and her expression was one of disgust and schadenfreude mixed with a hint of schadenfreude.
"That's all, no exaggeration, that's all. He followed one of them first, and then immediately followed another younger one."
Bai Nuo grinned, instinctively shivered, and made a strange sound.
"Huh~"
Liu Yanan took a deep breath, wiped her face, and continued, "The point is, she was standing in front of the window, working with her hands on the windowsill inside the room. The place where I hung the curtain was such that I could see her clearly through the gap in the curtain when I looked down. And her curtain wasn't hung properly, so I could see her very clearly."
