Chapter 76 Although she was strong, she also knew how to get tired.

Bai Nuo spent the entire morning making furniture, thankfully with the help of a few people in the house who could handle the electricity.
Humanoids helped cut the wood, Bai Nuo made it, and then handed it over to the more flexible and meticulous 925 for painting. Finally, the least flexible wooden puppet used high-tech equipment rented from the system store to dry all the wood planks and the furniture made from them.
For the entire morning, Bai Nuo stayed indoors, making a long table under the front window, two small stools, a washbasin stand, a desk and chair placed on the kang cabinet, a wall cabinet next to the kitchen stove, a clothes drying rack to be placed in the bathroom, a wooden shelf nailed to the wall, and finally two shelves in the storage room.
Bai Nuo had just placed the storage rack against the wall in the storage room when she looked at the empty wall in the middle and suddenly felt a bit uncomfortable due to her obsessive-compulsive disorder. She turned around and went into the space.
She remembered there was a wooden pegboard in the warehouse, the wood seemed to be oak, even the small round-headed stick on it was wooden, it was perfect to install on the middle wall of the storeroom, it was perfect for hanging tools, raincoats, straw hats and the like.
After tidying up the storage room, I looked at the few pieces of glass left over from installing the windows at home. After thinking it over, I turned around and took the glass back to my space. I then asked 925 to build a natural wood-colored storage cabinet with two glass doors on top and two solid wood doors on the bottom.
It's perfect for storing everyday household items, snacks, milk powder, malted milk powder, and other things that don't spoil easily.
A pretty piece of pure cotton lace fabric was placed on top of the 1.2-meter-tall side cabinet. Bai Nuo placed the two thermos flasks and ceramic cups that were temporarily placed on the ground on the top of the cabinet. Small snacks such as milk powder, malted milk powder, pastries, and candies were placed in the glass cabinet, and the remaining daily necessities such as toilet paper were placed in the solid wood door below.
After finishing all that, I quickly ate lunch back in my space, and then in the afternoon I started working on the things that needed to be made in the yard, as well as the two green bamboo doors to the bathroom and storage room.
The thin bamboo poles that were previously bought from the brigade headquarters were dried by Bai Nuo and then laid on the ceiling. The inside of the bamboo pole ceiling was also covered with a layer of old newspapers, so that no dust would fall off and it would be convenient to sweep.
The remaining thick bamboo poles were soaked in a special solution and then dried in the sun. This process not only preserved the original color of the bamboo poles but also prevented them from decaying and becoming damp.
A door requires about seven thick bamboo poles, each placed close together in a row. A bamboo strip is used to secure the top, middle, and bottom of each pole, and an iron wire is used to reinforce the middle. This makes the door ideal.
After installing the two green bamboo doors, Bai Nuo took out the cut walnut wood planks and went to the side yard. First, he installed a row of thin wooden strips with mortise and tenon joints cut out three fingers' width from the top of the wall. He then installed a row of the same strips on the opposite side of the wall, at the same level as the balance line. Finally, he fixed the planks with mortise and tenon joints on them. In this way, the grape trellis in the side yard was completed.
Bai Nuo breathed a sigh of relief. She had said that she was very capable with her hands; she used to do these kinds of things all the time in her previous life.
Now all that's missing are the eaves of the front and back windows, the gazebo, the rocking chair, and the old stone mill tea table.
"Host, why don't you just buy the rocking chair and wooden gazebo with points? These two are too much trouble." The system looked at its host with concern. The host had been busy all day, covered in sweat, and hadn't even had a proper meal.
"Are they for sale?"
"Yes, I've found it!"
The system then handed over the system tablet.
Looking at the pictures above, Bai Nuo saw that they were all simple wooden items. It would take her some effort to make them, but she wouldn't need many points in the store, so it was a good deal.
She used her points to buy a small, six-pillared, light-colored wooden pavilion. It was only a little over two meters tall, with the top level with the two-and-a-half-meter-high wall, making it less noticeable from the outside.
The pavilion has no carvings whatsoever; it's a truly simple and unadorned pavilion, which is just fine. It avoids being too complicated and making people doubt that she made it.
Bai Nuo asked the system to check if anyone was watching the area around the cabin. After confirming that no one was watching, he took out the gazebo and fixed it in front of the grape trellis. Then, he laid a layer of straw-yellow tarpaulin on the top of the gazebo, and then wrapped two thick layers of straw around the tarpaulin.
The straw was a woven straw shed that she had just bought from the Time and Space Mall, but it was indeed real straw, so she wasn't afraid of being seen by others.
In this way, the pavilion looks both beautiful and simple, and no one would call her bourgeois just because there is a pavilion in the yard.
It's clearly a genuine rural experience.
The rocking chair was even simpler; we just bought a bamboo one. We are really grateful to the Qishui Brigade for having someone set up a bamboo forest on the mountain, which has now developed into the large bamboo forest we have today.
Finally, there's the old stone mill tea table. This is easy: place four cut, peel-on logs facing each other, then join them together with four intersecting planks, and finally place the old stone mill on top.
The rocking chair and the old stone mill tea table were placed in the gazebo, while Bai Nuo lay down directly on the cement ground behind the house.
She was strong, but she also knew how to get tired!
"Host, keep it up! Once the eaves of the front and back windows are finished, we can take a shower and rest."
"Have the curtains for the two windows and the three partition curtains been cut?"
"Don't worry, host. Everything has been cut out. I rented an automatic sewing machine from the system store and sewed it according to your requirements."
"A-Tong, what will I do without you in this family!" Bai Nuo hugged her little system with emotion. In her previous life, things were better. They weren't that familiar with each other, and she had a carefree attitude, living one day at a time. After several teachers passed away one after another, she didn't care about anything, including her own life.
