"Auntie, Mingyi. What's the matter that's so urgent that you've come all the way here?" Sang Yuwan suppressed her emotions, her expression indifferent.

Lan Xiya looked slightly embarrassed. "Wanwan, your brother and I just came to see you. There's nothing else."

The young man next to her curled his lip in disdain.

Sang Yuwan sat down and said politely, "Please don't stand, sit down quickly."

“Okay.” Lan Xiya gently tugged at the young man.

Minglang brought over two cups of black tea. "Madam, Fifth Young Master."

After putting it down, he stepped aside.

Sang Yuwan looked at the young man next to Lan Xiya and asked calmly, "Mingyi, have you seen the job posting?"

“I looked at them, and none of them interested me.” Mingyi raised an eyebrow, his tone arrogant.

Lan Xiya blushed with embarrassment, her smile frozen on her lips, and she muttered under her breath, "What nonsense are you talking about?"

Mingyi tightened his chin. "I'm telling the truth. The job postings she sent over were either receptionists, salespersons, or security guards. None of them matched my major."

Lan Xiya blushed to her ears, slapped him, and said with a hint of exasperation, "Your sister is already being kind by agreeing to let you in, and you're still nitpicking here."

Mingyi raised his voice and retorted, "I am a graduate student from a prestigious university's law school, how can I do such lowly work?"

Lan Xiya's face turned pale and then red, and she retorted with a stiff neck, "What do you mean by lowly or not? As long as I can get in, that's all that matters."

Mingyi heaved his chest. "If you like it, then go ahead."

Lan Xiya's mind went blank. She raised her hand, as if to punch him.

"Alright, Auntie," Sang Yuwan interrupted coldly.

Lan Xiya's outstretched hand froze in mid-air, and she stammered, "Wanwan... don't be angry..."

“Everyone has been impetuous when they were young.” Sang Yuwan smiled faintly and looked at Mingyi. “Tell me the truth, which department do you want to join?”

"I want to join the Ministry of Justice." Mingyi stood up abruptly, his tone somewhat arrogant.

"Yi-yi." Lan Xiya pinched his thigh hard, her face flushed, and scolded in a low voice, "You really dare to say anything. That's the core department of the Bo Group. What qualifications do you, a recent college graduate, have to go in?"

"Ouch!" Mingyi cried out in pain. "Didn't you say that getting into any department is just a matter of Sister Wan's word?"

Lan Xiya's lips twitched, her face flushed, and she gritted her teeth, "When did I ever say that?"

Mingyi sneered, "I should have recorded it back then."

Lan Xiya felt a little embarrassed and slowly stood up. "Wanwan, this kid is arrogant and doesn't know his place. Don't take it to heart."

Sang Yuwan lifted her eyelids slightly, her expression indifferent. "Mingyi, I've arranged a better job for you. Would you like to give it a try?"

Mingyi paused slightly, but his tone remained somewhat arrogant, "I'm not interested in any department other than the legal department."

Lan Xiya couldn't hold back any longer. She reached out and pinched his ear hard. "If you keep acting so disrespectfully, I'll tell your dad."

Mingyi replied nonchalantly, "I'm not afraid of him."

Lan Xiya really didn't know what to do with him, so she could only blush and say to Sang Yuwan, "Wanwan, I originally wanted him to join the Bo family to help you share the burden, but look at him..."

"Auntie, the child is grown up and has his own ideas, it's normal."

Sang Yuwan's voice was not loud, and her tone was calm. However, her displeasure and impatience were clearly visible in her slightly furrowed brows.

Lan Xiya awkwardly laughed and agreed, "Who says otherwise?"

Sang Yuwan stood up, her gaze towards Mingyi carrying a profound meaning. "Auntie, I only have one blood-related brother, so naturally I'm willing to nurture him. Since he doesn't appreciate it, then forget it."

Ming was taken aback.

Lan Xiya hurriedly asked, "Wanwan, tell me, what kind of job has been assigned to Yiyi?"

Sang Yuwan curled her lips into a half-smile, "If he doesn't want to, there's no need to say it."

Lan Xiya quickly pinched Mingyi's arm, "Your sister is willing to help you, what else would you be unwilling to do?"

Mingyi winced in pain and muttered, "Who knows what she wants me to do?"

The air was still.

Sang Yuwan heard it clearly, her eyes darkened, and she slowly said, "Second Master's assistant."

Mingyi's eyes widened in disbelief. "You mean the second master of the Bo family?"

Sang Yuwan said, "That's right."

Mingyi pursed his lips.

Lan Xiya was suddenly taken aback, puzzled, "Wanwan, he's your mortal enemy, and Mingyi is with him..."

Sang Yuwan interrupted lightly, "Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will win every battle."

Ming Yi's pupils shrank back. "You want me to be an undercover agent?"

Sang Yuwan smiled and praised, "My younger brother is so smart."

Mingyi's expression became excited. "That sounds pretty exciting. Okay, I promise you."

Lan Xiya's heart pounded. "Yi Yi, think it over again."

Mingyi replied firmly, "A gentleman's word is as good as his bond. Sister Wan, when do you start work?"

Sang Yu replied late in the evening, "Tomorrow."

Mingyi's face was full of excitement, "Okay."

Lan Xiya felt flustered and tried to persuade her again, "Wanwan, if Second Master Bo knew that Yiyi was your brother, he definitely wouldn't agree."

Sang Yuwan's lips curled into a cool, sassy smile. "He will agree."

Lan Xiya: "But..."

Mingyi grabbed her wrist. "Mom, nothing you say will change my mind. No one can stop me from making this decision."

Lan Xiya's eyes blazed with fury.

"Let's go home."

Mingyi pulled her along and they walked out of the villa.

Sang Yuwan took out her phone and dialed Rong Zhi's number.

The call was connected quickly.

"Madam, is something the matter?"

The man's voice was deep and pleasant, alluring yet heart-fluttering.

Sang Yuwan spoke on the phone as she went upstairs. "Is it convenient for us to talk?"

"Please feel free to speak."

"Second Master, are you short-handed?"

Sang Yuwan lowered her eyebrows slightly.

The person on the other end of the phone chuckled, "I'm single."

Sang Yuwan's eyes darkened. "Second Master was just caught in bed with another woman, and he's still short of women."

The man laughed and said, "It's just acting, madam, don't take it seriously."

Sang Yuwan's lips curled slightly, with a hint of sarcasm, "Even if it's an act, there's no need to smash my hairpin."

The man paused for a few seconds, then said in an ambiguous tone, "I'll give Madam a new one tomorrow."

"I don't care." Sang Yuwan straightened her lips and snorted coldly.

Are you jealous?

A man's voice drifted over.

Sang Yuwan's breath hitched. She stopped in her tracks, lowered her eyes, and said seriously, "Nonsense."

"Alright. Let's get down to business," the man said leisurely.

"I've hired an assistant for Second Master. Please make time to meet him tomorrow."

Sang Yuwan continued climbing the stairs.

The man said casually, "I don't hire female assistants."

Sang Yuwan smiled, “A top student from a prestigious university’s law school. Male.”

The man wasn't too surprised, he just sighed softly, "Someone you know?"

“My cousin. Mingyi.” Sang Yuwan did not hide anything.

"Mingyi?" The man seemed to be taken aback for a moment.

"Second Master, what's wrong with Yi Yi?"

A delicate, sweet female voice drifted gently through the air without warning.
