Ning Wanzhen was so angry that she almost died on the spot.
She and Bo Yuanshan always treated Sang Yuwan as their own daughter.
Whether it's everyday matters or work decisions, they have always given her their utmost support.
Unexpectedly, she became entangled with another man shortly after her son's death.
She is currently pregnant, and less than a month along.
If you are not careful, you may miscarry.
Let alone romantic lovemaking, even during regular exercise, you need to be extremely careful.
The unborn child in Sang Yuwan's womb was Ning Wanzhen's only hope for survival.
She would not allow anything to happen to the child, no matter what.
What she found even more unacceptable was that the man entangled with Sang Yuwan was actually Rong Zhi.
The person she hated most.
Sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
A lone man and a lone woman.
We were in the same room.
It's obvious what they're doing without even thinking.
If this gets out, she will have no face to stand in the Bo family.
Ning Wanzhen was so angry she wanted to tear her hair out. She clenched her fists and knocked on the door.
The deafening noise terrified Xiansi, who was downstairs.
Ning Wanzhen knocked for several minutes, but the bedroom door remained tightly shut. She was so angry her face contorted, her eyes blazing with fury.
"As dusk falls, open the door."
Anxious and distraught, Xiansi rushed forward without hesitation.
"Madam, Madam..."
"Who let you come up here?"
Enraged, Ning Wanzhen slapped her hard across the face before she could finish speaking.
With a "crack", the air shattered.
Xiansi's cheeks instantly swelled up, her features contorted in pain. A look of disbelief and deep humiliation flashed in her eyes.
Ning Wanzhen's anger was all concentrated in that slap. The force of the slap caused her to stagger backward, almost falling to the ground.
Despite her grievances, Xiansi reached out to help her.
Ning Wanzhen pushed her away forcefully.
Xian Si's entire body tensed up. Her eyes showed astonishment, fear, and deep worry.
"Madam..."
"Open the door immediately. She's already having an affair with another man before the seven-day mourning period has even passed. I will not let her get away with this today."
Ning Wanzhen steadied herself, clutched her chest, and gasped for breath.
No matter how good she was to Sang Yuwan, she couldn't accept something so immoral and heartbreaking.
Xian Si dared not open the door. He lowered his head, his voice trembling slightly, "This is Madam's bedroom. I can't open it."
Ning Wanzhen's anger was so intense it almost burst out of her chest. "If you don't open the door today, I'll smash my head against it and die right here."
Xian Si's breath caught in her throat, and her scalp tingled. She took a deep breath, and through trembling teeth, she managed to squeeze out, "Madam, please don't..."
Ning Wanzhen made a move as if she was about to smash the door open.
Click—
Xiansi hurriedly grabbed her, and in a moment of impulsiveness, opened the door to Sang Yuwan's bedroom.
Ning Wanzhen rushed inside.
The central air conditioning is set to 26 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in Sang Yuwan's bedroom was noticeably higher than outside.
Following behind Ning Wanzhen, Xian Si lowered her head, not daring to look up.
Ning Wanzhen suddenly stopped in her tracks. "What's that smell?"
The thought caught in my throat, and I tried to inhale deeply.
The faint fragrance of mimosa flowers is mixed with the cool scent of pine, seemingly a "mark" left by lovemaking.
Xian Si curled her toes and whispered nonsense, "It seems to be the incense that Master Bo used to love the most."
Upon hearing this, Ning Wanzhen's eyes immediately reddened.
Further inside is the bedroom.
Xian Si clenched her fingers and forced a smile, "Madam, the old lady has come to see you."
No one responded.
I could almost hear the sound of rushing water.
Xiansi's mind went blank for a moment, and she hurriedly looked up.
The bed was empty.
The blanket was pulled back, clearly showing signs of having been slept in. But it wasn't particularly messy.
When Ning Wanzhen saw that there was no one on the bed, her heart skipped a beat, and her face grew even more gloomy. "Where is he?"
Xian Si's heart raced. She looked around, paused for a moment, and then walked towards the restroom.
The sound of rushing water made her heart clench.
Shadows flickered through the frosted glass window.
She didn't dare to look closely.
Rong Zhi didn't come downstairs, but he must be here now.
Xiansi swallowed nervously and knocked on the door. "Madam, are you in there?"
"Hmm." A low voice came from inside.
For a moment, Xian Si couldn't tell whether it was Sang Yuwan's voice or Rong Zhi's.
Her whole body was tense, and her lips trembled involuntarily.
"Madam, the old lady has arrived."
"I'll be right out."
It was the sound of Sang Yuwan.
The thought that had been stuck in her throat eased slightly. Her breathing also became a little smoother.
In the bathroom.
Sang Yuwan's breathing was heavy, and her body was limp and weak. If someone hadn't been holding her, she wouldn't have been able to stand up at all.
"Can you go out alone?"
Rong Zhi's low, husky voice, damp with moisture, was so soft it was almost an illusion, slowly seeping into Sang Yuwan's ears.
The warm water flowed over Sang Yuwan's back, carrying away the lingering, enchanting scent he had left on her.
Her heart skipped a beat, and she tilted her head slightly.
Rong Zhi was too close, and the pressure was even greater than before.
The flush on Sang Yuwan's face, which had just begun to fade, spread again.
She bit her lip hard and lowered her voice to the lowest level, "You stay put and don't come out unless I tell you to."
Rong Zhi's lips curled slightly, and his hot breath rushed over from behind her.
It seemed like he was about to kiss her again in the next second.
Seeing that he remained silent, Sang Yuwan's pretty face tightened, and she turned around. She raised her eyes, staring into those unfathomable dark pupils, "If you want to drag me into hell, I will definitely take you with me."
The warning, however, was less intimidating due to the hoarse voice.
Rong Zhi lowered his eyes, his gaze filled with an indistinct meaning amidst the mist.
Sang Yuwan's expression grew increasingly tense, her starry eyes darkening.
Seeing this, Rong Zhi leaned down, whispered in her ear, and chuckled, "Sister-in-law, you must keep your word."
Sang Yuwan's lips were taut, her cool, piercing eyes fixed on his face.
Rong Zhi turned off the water, grabbed a bath towel, and draped it over her.
Sang Yuwan took two deep breaths, and only after regaining her strength did she push open the glass door of the bathroom.
The bath towel only covered her vital parts. Her smooth, fragrant shoulders, beautiful shoulder blades, and slender legs all assaulted Rong Zhi's visual senses.
Suddenly, a mysterious fire ignited in my heart, burning silently, making even my bones itch with heat.
For him, Sang Yuwan was not just his first woman.
The bathroom door slammed shut with a loud "bang".
Rong Zhi raised an eyebrow, his smile radiant.
Sang Yuwan put on a hair drying cap, dried her body, and put on a bathrobe.
Standing behind the bathroom door, she let out a long sigh, her lips curling upwards, but the smile in her eyes held a cold undertone.
The next second, she froze at the doorway.
Ning Wanzhen stood at the bathroom door, waiting for her angrily, her imposing and gloomy face like a demon.
"Mom, what brings you here?" Sang Yuwan tugged at the collar of her bathrobe, forcing a faint smile.
Ning Wanzhen's face darkened, and she angrily questioned, "Why are you taking a bath in broad daylight?"
Sang Yuwan's heart pounded, and a blush rose behind her ears. "I took a nap at noon and broke out in a sweat..."
"Slept with Rong Zhi?" Ning Wanzhen's eyes were like knives, as if she wanted to gouge her out.
Upon hearing this, Xiansi involuntarily swallowed.
