Hongyun sat under the pavilion, finished his cup of tea, and then gestured to Butler Ye to pour him another.
The housekeeper was so nervous that he broke out in a sweat. He carefully poured him some tea, then stood aside with his head down and didn't say a word.
Hongyun picked up the glass again and drank it all, gesturing for him to continue.
The butler silently wiped his sweat and went back to pour tea. After he finished, he found that there was no tea left in the teapot, so he had no choice but to bite the bullet and start brewing tea.
He wailed inwardly: Young master and young lady, how long will it take you to come back? If you don't come back soon, I might lose my life.
"What does your young master usually like to do most?"
Hongyun's cold voice nearly scared the butler out of his wits. He calmed himself and whispered, "Are you talking about the eldest young master?"
"Um."
The butler blurted out, "I love being with Miss Ye the most."
"Bang--"
Hongyun crushed the teacup.
The butler was so startled he almost jumped up. He glanced furtively at the tycoon with a gloomy expression, swallowed hard, and nervously explained, "The young lady is beautiful and kind-hearted. It seems reasonable that the young masters like to be with her."
His voice grew softer and softer as he spoke, and his hands trembled more and more violently.
He was screaming for help in his heart, begging someone to save him; his fragile heart was about to explode.
Hongyun smiled at Butler Ye: "Does your young master have no other hobbies besides being with your young lady?"
"Does making money count?"
The butler forced a smile and said, "My young master is very self-disciplined. He doesn't smoke, avoids drinking whenever possible, doesn't gamble, and doesn't mess around outside. He's only ever had one girlfriend since he was a child, and that's Miss Ye."
Whether it was on purpose or not, not a single word the butler uttered was something Hongyun wanted to hear.
He asked a few more questions, all of which Hongyun didn't want to hear, and he was too lazy to ask any more.
This butler may seem cowardly, but he's actually incredibly brave. Even though he knows he's like an ant in front of him, he still risks his life to protect his young master.
After brewing the tea again, Butler Ye respectfully poured it for Hongyun, when his icy voice rang out: "Your young master has been pestering Ling'er for two and a half hours."
The housekeeper laughed and said, "This is nothing. The first time they came out, it took them more than 12 hours."
"Bang bang bang—"
"Ouch, it's so hot!"
The tea set in front of him shattered instantly, with hot water and shards splashing everywhere.
Even though the night housekeeper dodged quickly, he still got splashed.
The night steward, suppressing his fear, tried to stay far away from Hongyun, but his body was frozen in place, unable to move.
Hongyun remained seated, and said in a cold voice, "You all knew about their first time?"
The housekeeper thought to himself, since he had already said so many things that upset him, one or two more wouldn't make a difference.
So he said, "The young lady was drugged with aphrodisiacs. I heard that she was bleeding all over her body and would have died if she hadn't been given an antidote."
"So your young master offered himself up?"
The night housekeeper shut up and said no more.
He didn't know what happened next, but everyone knew they had stayed in the room for so long.
Hongyun chuckled softly, seemingly lost in thought, and then vanished from the spot in an instant.
The housekeeper wanted to say, "Untie me now that you're gone."
Butler Wen crept out from the shadows, looked around to make sure Hongyun wasn't there, and quickly ran over: "Are you alright?"
Do I look like I'm alright?
Butler Wen thought for a moment, then picked him up and ran: "I'll take you back to your room first. Everything will be fine once Miss and the others return. This Mr. Hong is far more terrifying than any other big shot I've ever met. Stay away from him next time."
The housekeeper laughed in exasperation: "If I could dodge, would I be standing there like an idiot?"
