Chapter 102 One-on-One

The female attendant led the agents to a location about half a mile from the giant pit, and none of the two hundred bear spirits followed.
The terrain here is very flat, and the gray and white trees cover most of the area. The towering plants, either one or two pine trees or a large grove of pine trees, prove that this place is very ancient.
In addition, the surface here is significantly different from before, consisting mainly of exposed gravel in strange shapes, resembling a broken foundation.
A shout suddenly came from the edge of the pine forest, startling Biris. He looked around and saw several bear spirits who looked the same forming a circle on the slope between their wooden house and the fence. The person in the center of the circle held a torch and knelt in the center, while the people on the outside raised their warhammers.
Just as I was wondering, the person kneeling in the center stood up and shouted, "It's here! Bloodletting!"
It looks like something was slashed and spilled everywhere.
The permafrost began to glow, and a three-dimensional ring-shaped matrix appeared.
The matrix revealed the appearance of another world, seemingly above the clouds, where a massive, heavy golem rumbled.
"Chashi! Awoo! Chashi! Awoo!" Savage cries rose and fell.
The female attendant removed her black robe, revealing a loose battle robe.
"The Mora you're looking for is inside. Come on, one-on-one. If you win, we'll let you pass. If you lose, you'll become one of us."
The answer is right in front of you.
Billy said to his wife, “My dear, leave her to me. I’ve lost to the wizard three times; I must at least win one back.”
Xiong Ling's voice was like a war drum, but louder.
Lisa couldn't hear what she said at all, and Billis didn't intend to hear it either, so he summoned Mark.
The maid raised her hands to the sky, knelt on the ground with her knees exposed, and prayed madly, her mind in a daze, and it was impossible to know what she was saying.
Based on previous experience, she is likely to be deformed soon.
However, she did not. Instead, she summoned the round mirror in her own way and retrieved a weapon from it—a warhammer.
The servant brandished her warhammer, and the blizzard obeyed her command. The earth rose like a surging tide, with heads that at first glance looked like stones, but once they emerged from the ground, they were revealed to be enormous golem machines.
This guy is actually an engineer who summons golems!
The enormous golem machine was also equipped with a warhammer. Like a lion that had run away, Billis quickly destroyed one of the unarmed golems, and then swarmed the rest.
Xiong Ling had never seen golems fight, nor had the special agents.
They fought from east to west, and from west to north, their steel turning the color of brass, gleaming with a golden sheen, obscuring the harsh cold and frost of the battlefield.
Mark leaped into the enemy ranks, snapping their mechanical necks; he was more adept at dealing with his own kind than with wizards.
'Coward, you don't deserve to be a warrior!'
Billy heard a voice that sounded like it was coming from a human mouth, but it certainly didn't sound like a human.
What did he just hear?
'My poor child, coming to this other world was a mistake!'
Listen more closely, and perhaps someone is using the golem's voice.
Billy's head suddenly throbbed with pain, as if two opposing forces were repelling each other within his body: one force was the power to release the soul, and the other was the power to imprison it.
'Without the golem, you are nothing!'
'Without golems, how am I supposed to fight?'
'Isn't it better to be a coward and hide behind your woman?'
'I want to become stronger, strong enough to protect her!'
'The strong don't need protection, and they have no weaknesses. You were born weak, destined to be a failure your whole life.'
'No! I'm not a loser! Get out of my head!'
The sound died out like a flame, and the golem Mark was automatically deactivated!
Billis rolled around in the snow, clutching his head. A steel golem over five meters tall stood opposite him, wielding a sturdy heavy hammer, and swung it down as if looking at an insect in the snow.
How much effort Beris put into overcoming difficulties and making his fighting style more unique.
He had held so much hope in the past, but this time it seemed as if he had lost just as much hope, yet his worries and anxieties were finally relieved.
'A weakling? I am indeed a loser. Perhaps I should just lie here and wait for my life to end.'
Billy closed his eyes, waiting for the hammer to fall.
"You can't lose! You're my man!"
"lady!"
Billy lay there, the struggle in his mind completely gone. Hearing his wife's voice meant a miracle had occurred.
Mark rearms!
The falling warhammer struck Mark squarely, but shattered itself in the process.
Among these golems clad in hard shells, many were already armed with shields, especially the big one who was about to enter the fray. His hair, made of wire, was coiled into two bunches and swung back on his head, while his beard, also made of wire, covered his face, just like the peaks on his back.
As soon as it raised its shield, Mark dodged to the side and threw a kneaded snowball at the big guy's face.
Big Gezi was like a mosquito, spinning around in circles, his eyes blurred by snowballs, so he simply threw away his shield, picked up a mace, and started blindly hammering in all four directions behind him, ending up smashing his own teammates to pieces.
Taking advantage of the opening, Mark picked up the discarded shield and struck the big man in the groin.
The big guy knelt awkwardly in the snow; even the golem was afraid of his crotch!
Mark gave it another hard punch on the rear end, and that was the end of it.
Billis actually won the battle with a snowball!
A strange thing happened: Xiong Ling, who was watching the spectacle, became fascinated by Billy's performance and burst into laughter. The cheers soon took a turn for the worse.
"One more game! One more game!"
"Mora!"
The maid suddenly let out a loud, strange scream, so loud that it silenced the entire city and could be heard by the wild beasts on half the mountain.
Screams from another dimension echoed overhead, as if responding to the ghosts in the tomb, while dark clouds filled Hyperion's airspace.
Below the dark clouds, a wizard in his full form finally appeared.
But this wizard did not want to enter the battle; he seemed to be standing in both this space and the other.
Tentacles appear and disappear at the intersection of the two spaces.
"No! Mora, give me another chance!" The servant knelt down and said something strange to someone, "Get out of my head! Don't bother me anymore! Get out of my head now!"
Billis thought the tentacles were coming to grab him, but instead they lifted the maid high and reached into every orifice of her body.
The servant's belly was like a bulging drum, and although his hands and feet were bound, he could still speak.
"I am your most loyal servant, but not your violated slave! Get out of my head!"
The wizard behind the scenes didn't want to help her either, and everyone watched helplessly as the servant had every part of her body taken away by tentacles.
Who was she talking to just now?
I'm afraid it wasn't about talking to that wizard.
Billy had just had a similar experience. Something suddenly entered his brain, and while it was there, his own consciousness weakened while the other person's consciousness strengthened.
This strange ability is clearly not a wizard's void magic.
The wizard, appearing as an observer, silently watched the agent, revealing a powerful strength hidden beneath the mummy's skin.
He suddenly untied one of the bandages on his body, took out a piece of bone, and then pulled out something that looked like brain matter from the servant's corpse.
The bear spirit worshippers believed it to be a sacred relic, so they all came to seize it and share it.
As a result, when they experienced this power, their bodies swelled up as if bitten by a snake, and afterwards, each of them began to talk nonsense like servants.
"You can't escape!"
"For the sake of those in heaven, let us offer our bodies and minds!"
"Hehe, did you think we were just saying that?"
The last Xiong Ling to speak had become quite ugly, but he didn't care at all what he would look like.
These guys' brains have been taken over by some kind of force.
