In the spacious experimental area, a fierce wind howled. Toxic liquids, spherical canisters, and throwing knives—these heroes, with their gleaming eyes, spared no one, precisely launching their weapons at their comrades.

There's a saying in Sin City: the only thing separating a hero from a plunderer is a window called reputation. Whoever opens that window, even justice will turn into cruelty.

The hero, carrying a small-caliber electric rifle, accidentally pierced through the protective wall of the Iron Ring, and the powerful airflow instantly took two people away.

The glutton had just plastered the wall with his saliva when a poisonous needle pierced his back, causing him to foam at the mouth.

The guy who released the poison was hiding behind the chemical tanks, leaning against the wall, inching closer to the next target like a snail.

A peculiar one-legged insect lay on the glass, fluttering its four pairs of gray wings, and pierced the glass with its long hypodermic proboscis.

With a loud bang, the guy who released the poison was thrown against the door by the incredible air pressure, his hands going limp like tomatoes.

At this moment, there were very few left who could continue fighting, and this small squad was completely wiped out.

Berserker picked up his axe and walked toward the still-bleeding Infinite Gravity.

"Didn't you just say you were going to deal with me? Now you're acting like you're pregnant and can't get out of bed?"

The shadow of a devil was projected onto the wall. Infinite Gravity cried out for help several times, but what she saw was not a berserker, but a butcher wielding a machete.

There's nothing more to say, so why not sit down and listen to a hymn?

As the berserker raised his axe, a resounding melody, like celestial music, rose from the shattered experimental area and from the bleeding wounds.

While the music is being played, one can smell the spices, taste the wine, and see the dance steps. As long as one is listening, it is impossible to force him to move an inch.

Those with a little appreciation for romance can hear the lively demeanor and joyful movements in it; the healing sound is as warm as spring sunshine, shining upon those who have lost their souls.

The berserker slammed his head down with the handle of his axe, looked at his left hand, then at his right, as if he had never seen his hands before.

What did I just do?

As he played, Number Thirty-Three said, "I spent some time arranging the music, but luckily I made it in time."

"I thought you had already been..."

"This is all thanks to the hero, who told me beforehand that it was best to stay away from you."

Berserker threw his axe to the ground and picked up Infinite Gravity.

What are you going to do now?

"Your leg is injured, I can't leave you behind."

Suddenly, his face, under the influence of infinite gravity, turned as red as a tomato.

Billy finally appeared. Where had he been? He was observing from the cell next door.

"Well done, Number Thirty-Three. However, the combat effectiveness of our squad has clearly declined. How many of us are still capable of operating?"

Before Number Thirty-Three could speak, Billis counted for himself and found that besides Berserker and Infinite Gravity, there was also a guy who could remotely control insects.

"Only five left. That guy did a great job, he had you guys completely fooled."

"You mean hackers?"

"If I were talking about someone else, would you believe me?"

"Who else could it be?"

"That shining justice that you call an idol, I've disliked him for a long time."

Midway through, Berserker switched hands, carrying Infinite Gravity behind his back and binding the axe across his chest: "Then prove it to me."

The five heroes continued onward.

It's cold outside and hot inside. The air circulation system is blocked. A skylight faces down, and panels have been sawed off, with a formula written on them in rough script.

Billy went around in circles, not understanding the formula, and mistakenly thought it was a considerable debt.

Next, they entered several mazes that were never meant to be rooms. The passages became increasingly tight, and the walls on both sides pulsated like blood vessels, creating a nauseating and unsettling feeling.

Cell-like reconnaissance devices slowly crawled along the wall, not sounding an alarm when they saw intruders enter, and simply passed by as if nothing had happened.

Like a thief, Billy remained silent, yet his observational skills were terrifyingly astounding. He discovered a hidden door by comparing the stains on the wall.

Pushing open the door, I saw a strange man whose entire body was covered in metal tubes and whose brain capacity was about twice that of a normal person, tied to a stool.

The monster's legs below the thighs were completely rotten into a dragon fruit shape, and two tubes were inserted into the back of his head. One of the tubes lit up briefly, but due to the time constraints, the heroes couldn't see what it was.

A while later, the man's neck also developed a problem, with exaggerated veins protruding from it. No one had ever seen such thick veins before; they looked like a python wriggling inside his body.

“He was originally an NPC here, and he was obviously used for some kind of experiment. He’s beyond saving,” Billis said.

"How did you know?" Berserker asked.

"Look at this guy, what year is he wearing? Would you guys hesitate to buy yourselves a new skin? Only NPCs wouldn't."

Everyone agreed that Billys's judgment was very reasonable, and since the guy reeked of industrial compounds, he had probably been transformed into a cyborg.

Just then, the cyborg suddenly opened its eyes and tried to pull out the two tubes inserted into it, but its joints were not very flexible, and the expression on its face was completely beyond what a human could make.

Billy told the others to step back and, without hesitation, fired two shots into its face.

The cyborg doesn't feel pain. Tiny tentacles quickly extend from the bullet wound, pulling the tendons together and reconnecting the bones to their original positions.

Billy focused his mind and, following the direction of the tube, saw a machine connected to the cyborg. He fired a shot at the machine.

Flames burst forth, and the cyborg closed its eyes, collapsing from the middle of its body like rotten mud.

Meanwhile, public channels continuously broadcast sounds of bloody battles and slaughter.

Then came the earth-shaking tremors. The Iron Ring unleashed a shockwave even more powerful than the Great Cannon. The shockwave appeared five times in total, each time stronger than the last. When the final, thunderous burst of power erupted, the entire prison spun continuously, causing dizziness.

"what happened?"

"It feels like the experimental subject from a science fiction novel has been created."

"The ultimate villain has been born?"

"It might be that hacker. Let's go check next door!"

Upon exiting, they found seventeen heroes lying in the corridor, five drill-sized holes in the ceiling, and five sterile containers broken, with solution spilled all over the floor.

Another experimental subject is incubating in a jar.

The test subject moved slightly, opened its eyes, and exhaled a few bubbles.

The liquid in the jar was alternating between hot and cold. After stirring for a while, the thing inside suddenly slammed its hand against the glass frame.

Suddenly, the earth shook, the world scattered, the lights shone brightly, ears rang, and the last remaining jar shattered.

"Worry! That thing is charging at us!"

Billy fired two shots at the thing that he couldn't tell whether it was a person or an animal, but the bullets were deflected.

"I'll give it a try!"

Before the hero who was remotely controlling the insects could even release them, his hands and feet were severed, part of his body flew out, and the wall behind him was also pierced by a sharp weapon.

The thing attacks heroes silently, with no facial features. Its two claws are like countless sharp blades; with just a slight shake, it can shred hard objects into dust.

This is a monster with extremely fast movement speed and specializing in cutting!

Billy switched to frozen bullets and hit the throat and face with all five shots, but there seemed to be no reaction.

The slicing monster leaped onto the wall, grabbed a lamp, and in no time came it in front of Beris, revealing its sharp claws.

But at that moment, its movements suddenly slowed down.

The berserker's eyes were like burning coals. Without saying a word, he charged forward and swung his axe at his opponent.

The cutting monster stumbled and staggered like a little child or a drunkard. Just as it was about to retaliate, it was hit in the face by an axe. This axe made it lose its balance and its head hit the sterile tank behind it.

However, after being hit by two axes, it seemed to become smarter and understood why its movements had slowed down.

Due to the combined effect of infinite gravity, the overall mass of the cutting monster increased.

Berserker released the infinite gravity from his back and entrusted it to Billis.

"Please, slow him down even more. It's been a pleasure doing business with you!"

He smiled at her, the expected gleam of sweat emanating from the axe.
