Beneath the thin clouds, there stood a birch tree, and beneath it sat a ragged old man. He stretched out his arms, his eyes fixed intently on the sky. His bald head gleamed in the sun, and swarms of insects danced around him, forming a crown around his head.

On the other side, surrounded by shadows and flowing water, the snow-capped peaks disappeared into the purple mist, and the majestic shouts of the forces of light floated in the clear air, a fanatical sense of victory stirring the souls of every soldier.

The angels led the way, followed by the armies of giants, elves, dwarves, and humans.

The moment of assembly has arrived.

An empty mist pressed down, the breath of life suddenly vanished, and dark forces descended from the sky.

Everything they saw was about the destruction of the world.

An obelisk made of flesh and blood fell like a meteorite, a red flame burning from its core, and huge, coiling tentacles hanging down from its moving shell. When the obelisk reached the field, the tentacles quickly burrowed into the ground.

The land began to wither and twist, and with a deafening roar, the power of the obelisk seeped into the earth and began to emit an unbearable light.

Above the evil spire, dark wings blocked out the holy sunlight, and countless snarling demons screamed, hurling corrupting fans toward the ground.

The remaining dark forces followed closely behind, and the earth was instantly transformed into a purgatory, the destruction of which was beyond description.

The shouts of battle echoed across the mountains and fields, shaking the molten earth. There was nowhere to hide, only hellfire and burning death.

A giant wielding lightning cleaved his enemies into ashes, but he was immediately overwhelmed by thousands of hellish imps. Orcish troops wielding double axes trampled over the giant's corpse and clashed fiercely with the human forces.

Several angels were fighting a magma beast with a giant tail. There was no one in the world more vicious than it. The magma beast swallowed the angels whole, wings and all, and then spewed flames from its mouth at the warriors who came to fight.

But even the most powerful beasts cannot withstand the attack of the Holy Spear, a power that pierces through all things in the world. It will only stop when it has completely killed its opponent; otherwise, it will endlessly search for a target.

Spore-shaped spells bloomed in the air. The spells looked beautiful, but they had sharp, steel-like arrows. Before the demon imps could even see what the spells looked like, they were strung together by the arrows.

At this moment, the obelisk began to move slowly, like a fortress that had grown legs. It was covered with evil things that trembled and squeezed out a lot of poisonous gas. Once you were touched by the gas, you would go insane and start hacking and slashing indiscriminately, regardless of friend or foe.

Some small black dots sat quietly in the sky, looking as if a storm was about to break. In fact, those small black dots were the so-called Magic Matrix, the greatest summoner of the forces of light, who was trying to summon space travelers to deal with the obelisk crisis.

However, the most flamboyant wizards of the dark forces used time travelers to turn against space travelers.

Two diametrically opposed matrices blended seamlessly with the ravaged earth. When they rubbed together and sparked magical energy, the world seemed to turn upside down, and the confusion of time and space caused a massive repulsion of magical matter.

In an instant, trees came to life and then lost their life; skyscrapers grew in the land of the other world and then collapsed one after another; species from the dimensional space came and went in an instant as if walking on a movie set; cracks appeared underfoot and never closed again; the obelisk also collapsed from the inside because it could not withstand the impact of the two matrices; then there was a deafening roar; three different energies became three colors, mixed together, and transformed into the Demon Path.

An unprecedented magical explosion swept across the battlefield, and all creatures caught in the blast were instantly annihilated.

Only a few powerful species survived, such as angels and demons, giants and wizards, but they were few in number, and their bodies quickly disintegrated in the next wave of impact.

In the end, none were spared.

Although the war has ended, the suffering of the land has only just begun.

The boundless plains, like a fragmented whole, were struck by an earthquake.

As the only one who witnessed the truth, Billis saw how the Abyss was formed and how the Demon Path came to be.

The so-called abyss and demonic path were actually remnants of a magical explosion.

Billis thought the portal was about to close, but then an even bigger creature came from the other side of the field.

It was so huge, like a mountain, that it moved slowly, swallowing up the Demon Path as it went, with the long white clouds on the horizon becoming tiny decorations on its head.

A gigantic mythical monster! Despite its seemingly slow movements, its two whale-like side eyes left a deep impression on Billy.

At the same time, a black dragon of equally enormous size appeared in the sky, with three demons standing on its back from left to right.

The demon standing on the far left... I feel like I've seen him somewhere before.

Just as they were about to get closer, the time portal closed, and the Mark II returned to the present.

Biris and Irensell were soaking in the pool.

This is a cave, roughly the size of a volcano crater. They don't know why they fell into the pool, and the Demon Path has disappeared, but what is certain is that this place is still part of the abyss.

When Irencel woke up, he saw that Billis had woken up earlier than him, and he couldn't help but feel a little jealous. His clothes were so dirty that they looked like they had crawled out of a coal pile, and even after being soaked in the pool for a while, they still couldn't be cleaned.

Where are we?

Just as Irensell opened his mouth, a slimy frog suddenly jumped onto him, scaring him so much that he scrambled out of the pond and onto the bank.

Are you feeling better?

Billis was measuring the height of the cave with his arm and felt that the entrance was about 500 meters from the Heavenly Pool.

"What just happened?" Irenshere probably really couldn't remember and found it hard to understand why he had fallen into the cave pool.

"Have you forgotten the whole process of racing against the Demon Path?"

"Me? And you?"

"It's just you and me."

“I remember you asked me for help, and I agreed. On the first platform, we only rested for five minutes, then on the second platform, we…” Irenshere patted his long ears, pouring out dirty water, “Did we fall straight from the second platform into the Heavenly Pool?”

Do you think we'll fall higher and higher?

"I think I saw something huge before, no, no, let me think about it again."

"If you can't remember, that's fine. Let's go out first and talk about it later."

"Do you have a way to get us out of here?"

"I'm trying to find a way to get you out of here."

Billy's arm transformed into a drill shape, drilling dozens of small holes around the pool.

These dozens of small holes are all emitting steam, proving that the cave is a volcanic crater.

“I know why Richie went to such lengths to recruit you.” Irenshere looked at the hardworking Billis and said, “The stunt double you chose is quite good. Although it’s not aesthetically pleasing, its ability to freely transform is enough to make up for the shortcomings of an agent. Where did you get this mecha stunt double from?”

"Don't talk nonsense if you don't understand. This is called a golem double."

"Okay, where did you get this?"

"Could you please move your butt a little further in? I'm going to drill a big hole in where you're sitting."

Irenshere took only a tiny step like a little girl, only to be glared at fiercely by Billis.

In Irenshere's opinion, this guy's gaze was as chilling as that of a rigid, violent thug; if he weren't his partner, he might be the kind of person he least wanted to meet.

Similarly, perhaps because of his excellent teamwork with his previous partner, Billis felt that Irenshere was like a burden, and apart from being able to use a little magic, he couldn't really be considered an agent.

Based on their understanding of their respective partners, this mission combination was absolutely terrible.

Both sides fell silent, for there was nothing more to say.

The silence lasted for about ten minutes, when suddenly a jet of water burst from the small hole drilled by Billy, breaking the cold silence and quickly raising the water level of the entire pool by a considerable distance.

"Jump in quickly! Be fast!" Billis urged.

"Where to jump?"

"Are you an idiot? Do you expect me to carry you and jump into the water? You're not my wife!"

“Billis! You’re the worst agent I’ve ever met!”

"You're the most disgusting person I've ever seen! Jump in now! This is a volcano, and I've awakened it using resonance."

Why didn't you tell me sooner?

"I thought you had already noticed that the pool water was warm!"

"You'll come out with me, right?"

"Me? No, only you, you disgusting bug. I can fly, I'm going to send you soaring into the sky."

Billis kicked Irenshere hard, sending him tumbling into the water. A powerful jet of water launched Irenshere, who hadn't even had time to turn over, into the sky.

Billy suddenly felt extremely comfortable; this was the best thing he had done all day.
