"Honey, let's have a baby."

Billy wrapped his arms around Lisa's slender waist, and Lisa wrapped Billy's arms around her with bat wings. Just as they were about to kiss, a 'glug glug' sound came from the room.

What was that sound? Did you just send an email?

The two rushed into the room and found white slime all over the walls and floor.

"I just cleaned this room this morning, who did this?"

Lisa was furious. She flicked her tail and slammed the door shut.

The milky liquid scribbled all over the walls, and even got onto the sofa, the table, and the projector remote.

The cocoon is gone!

The two searched every corner of the room and finally found a thin white mark on the threshold leading to the alchemy room.

"Don't be afraid, baby, Daddy's here to find you."

Billy crept into the alchemy room like a thief.

The alchemy room was filled with old crucibles, abandoned alchemy furnaces, ebony hammers and files, as well as some neatly arranged life herbs and chalcopyrite.

The cocoon was rolling around behind a pile of red gold stones, leaving behind long, thin trails of slimy mucus wherever it rolled.

“Honey, doesn’t the cocoon look much smaller?” Billis asked.

"Perhaps in a few more days, the things inside will hatch."

"Oh! I can't wait to name it!"

"However, you don't know what the non-reincarnated beings inside look like, so let's wait until it fully hatches."

"I'll listen to you, Madam!"

Just as Billis was about to carry the cocoon back to the room, the non-reincarnated being inside trembled. You could see its crystal-clear body, like a piece of melting ice.

It gives people a very sacred feeling!

Although the cocoon is shrinking, the contents inside are so heavy that it's almost impossible to carry.

"Honey, did you hear that sound just now? It sounded like it was calling for its father."

“Beris, let’s leave it in the alchemy lab.”

"Why?"

"The fact that the non-returner dislikes Earth culture and chooses to climb into the alchemy room itself illustrates this point."

"I'll listen to you, Madam!"

Billis gently laid the cocoon back down and carefully closed the door.

Lisa seemed a little unwell; her heart was pounding, and she was lying on the sofa, breathing heavily.

Billy thought the lady wanted that, and smiled as he kissed her forehead.

But Lisa's forehead really did seem a little hot.

"What happened?" Billis asked.

Lisa sat up from the sofa, her wings damp with sweat, her whole body soaked.

"I think I'm allergic to what's inside the cocoon."

"That's really strange! You've never been allergic to anything in the past eight years."

“Beris, I have a conflict with that thing, really.”

"I threw that guy away!"

"Don't do this, Billis, I think I'll get used to it." Lisa suddenly straddled Billis, forcefully pressing him onto the carpet, a seductive smile on her face. "Where were we? Didn't you say you wanted to make a baby?"

"Can't you be a little more ladylike?"

"I want to be your queen, darling."

Billis felt a tingling sensation all over his body, as if he were melting.

Just as they were about to continue, a shrill doorbell rang downstairs.

Is anyone home? Do the Billies live here?

There will always be inopportune people in inopportune places!

Billy was furious at being disturbed. He took out his cane pistol, which had only one bullet left, from behind the door and stormed downstairs.

He really wanted to shoot the guy who rang the bell.

Upon opening the door, a water elemental stood outside, its face and form indistinct.

It turned out to be a doll stand-in.

Since it's made of water, normal bullets can't do anything about it.

"It's Agent Billy, isn't it? This is your invitation."

The water elemental took out a damp envelope from its transparent body. The sealing wax on the cover was so badly smeared that it was impossible to tell who wrote the letter.

Billy took the letter, and with a light scratch, he broke the seal, revealing that the cardboard inside was damp.

It reads: "DINK Manor Ball".

The water elemental was wearing a top hat, indicating that its owner liked wearing hats. It respectfully took off its hat and bowed to Billy.

"It is an honor to meet Billis himself. Our estate has prepared this ball especially for distinguished people, and we hope that you and your wife can attend."

When the water element speaks, its two cloudy eyes keep circling in the water, like two fish.

Billy hesitated for a moment and said, "I need to discuss it with my wife."

"Of course, the DINK Manor looks forward to your visit."

No sooner had the water elemental left than Billis called out to him from behind: "Wait, who else did you invite?"

"We're all just like you, Mr. Agent."

The water element has no feet; it walks with a swaying gait, just like a woman with bound feet.

Billis had taken the invitation very seriously, and after returning home, he told his wife exactly what the Water Elemental had said.

Lisa was seriously searching for information about DINK (Double Income No Kids) estates on her computer.

The DINK Manor was originally the estate of Waldersee, because Waldersee and his wife were two elderly semi-reincarnated beings who had no offspring to inherit their estate. They passed away a few years after their reincarnation and bequeathed the manor to outsiders before their death, naming it DINK Manor.

As for who it was given to, there is no unified answer online. Everyone says it was used for charitable donations, while only a few people say it was given to a mysterious organization.

The Billies tend to agree with the latter.

A mysterious figure from a mysterious organization gathers a group of agents to hold a secret ball.

Therefore, it seems there might be a conspiracy.

The Billies hesitated about whether to go, but out of their agent instincts, they finally decided to go.

It happened this evening.

The two quickly dressed, just like always. Billy liked to wear a formal black suit with a jacket with a dozen or so buttons underneath, a top hat on his head, a short pipe in his mouth, and a pistol and pocket watch tucked into his pocket.

Lisa prefers to wear low-cut evening gowns with a very low neckline that exposes the upper part of her chest and bare shoulders. Her belt is pulled up high, and she wears chains and agate ornaments. She wears a floor-length skirt and bearskin boots.

The two of them were dressed as formally as if they were attending a court dance.

But Billy couldn't dance and often awkwardly stepped on the lady's shoes.

He glanced at the pistol pocket watch.

The ball will begin at 5 o'clock.

At that moment, Lisa seemed to suddenly remember something and exclaimed, "There's no time to prepare a stunt double!"

Billy put his arm around the lady's waist and pulled her closer to him.

"No need, madam, this is just fine for going out."

"But what if we encounter danger?"

"You'll protect me, right?"

Billis and Lisa exchanged a glance, reminiscing about their time on Earth.

At that time, Lisa had neat, shiny long hair, soft and lovely skin, and a chaste beauty like that of the Virgin Mary.

As for Billy, he has a calm demeanor, red hair, a composed posture, and a dignified appearance.

“We haven’t been to a formal ball in a long time,” Billis said, linking arms with Lisa. “Eight years ago on Earth, when I first met you, you were wearing the same dress.”

"Yeah, and you can't dance, and you always like to step on my feet."

“But every time you want me to do it again, so that I have a reason to hold you tighter.”

“Billis, how should I put it? You are the most perfect man I have ever met in my life.”

"Me too, my dear. No matter what I am reincarnated as, you will always be the love of my life."

The two of them chuckled, their gazes shifting from the bright red moon that was about to rise outside to each other, as if their skin was reflecting the light and the sky.

The Billies embraced tightly, as if they had just fallen in love, their bodies almost becoming one.

Just then, a car horn sounded downstairs.

"Is this the Billies' house? I'm a driver from the DINK Manor! I'm here to provide transportation, and it's free!"

This is the third time I've been disturbed today!

However, the Billies are still very content.

They walked downstairs hand in hand, got into the car, and drove away.

The room was silent. The fully risen red moon shone two spindle-shaped beams of white light through the cracks in the alchemy room.

The strange cocoon seemed to sense the power of nature, as if it were suddenly drawing sacred essence from the outside world, and it made a rustling sound.

The cocoon began to crack, but only a narrow slit opened. The non-reincarnated being crouching inside had skin as white as the stars and a pair of pure white wings covered with shimmering, electric down.

She wriggled, trying to get out as soon as possible.
