All sorts of people walk down the street.

Suddenly, beams of holy light descended from the sky, like thunder and lightning, striking all the humans on the earth's surface from the nebula.

This is the Great Reboot that happened on Earth eight years ago.

Half of Earth's humanity awakens in a special form, discovering that they have been reincarnated into an alternate world called Fa'an. They quickly use Earth's civilization to conquer the alternate world and begin a new life there.

Billis turned off the news projector.

A dwarf with his beard tied into a whip was shouting loudly downstairs, which made him get up again and close the window.

It was hard to pinpoint the source of the light in those rooms; it all shone on Lisa's full breasts and her shapely thighs.

She is cleaning the room and reopening the window.

The shouts immediately burst through the windows, like a hundred ducks quacking in a pond, making Billy curse at the dwarf downstairs.

"Hey! Let's go sell things somewhere else! I want to take a nap!"

"But it's morning now, Mr. Half-Reincarnated One. I have some freshly made magical equipment here, would you like some?"

Billy slammed the window shut, returned to the sofa, and lay half-reclined with his mouth half-open, as if he were slowly and peacefully dying.

Lisa held the mop and wiggled it in front of me.

Billy still couldn't sleep, so he hugged his wife's lower abdomen from behind, preparing to kiss her.

The holographic communication device rang.

A centaur image was connected to the network; he was Billy's employer.

"How did the mission go?" the centaur asked, puffing on a cigar.

Billy was very annoyed because he had been disturbed several times that morning. He was about to say that the task was completed, but when he saw the cocoon in the corner of the wall move twice, he immediately changed his mind.

“I’ll come to see you this afternoon, it’s not convenient to talk now.” Billy hung up the signal, kissed his wife on the back of the neck, and asked, “Darling, I have to meet with that person this afternoon. Can the doll stand be repaired? I don’t want to hand over the cocoon.”

Lisa glared at him, flicked the red heart tail at his face, and left.

Billis thought it couldn't be fixed.

Just then, a tremor suddenly came from next door, as if a large rock had fallen from a cliff.

Billy rushed over and found a lifeless stone figure crouching on the teleportation array.

Lisa's incantation was so delicate and gentle, and other things kept popping out of the teleportation array, but they were all swamp sprouts and murky mud.

It's cold in the morning, and the stone cracks. It must have been transported from a distant snow-capped mountain swamp, where the stones are said to be the hardest. Even a dwarf's pickaxe would have to swing it several times to dig out such a stone.

"Honey! I've never seen such a big stone man before!"

"Because we need it this afternoon, I can't find a substitute for you anywhere else."

"That's already pretty good!"

"But it's bulky and might be inconvenient to use. However, I'll install a detonator on the new stand-in. If they don't let you go, blow up the centaur camp. Don't forget our service motto: if you're going to do it, do it big."

"That's my good wife!" Billis said in his loudest and most affectionate voice.

"But you have to go downstairs and buy me a magic core. Without a core, I can't do anything."

Billis flashed that confident smile typical of men, retrieved a top hat and a secret agent uniform from the room, and before leaving, he lit a pipe.

This feels amazing!

Before opening the door, he glanced at the cocoon a couple more times. A beam of light shone in obliquely, shining directly on it. Billis seemed to see someone inside, hugging their body tightly, like a baby about to be born.

Then we definitely can't leave it to the centaurs!

On the streets, all sorts of quirky races appeared: dwarves, light elves, high dark elves, two-headed giants, orcs, and many other races that even Billis was seeing for the first time.

They are all humans who were reincarnated into the other world of Fa'an.

Of course, some of them also look like humans, such as Billis himself.

These people were human before reincarnation and remain human after reincarnation; therefore, they are called semi-reincarnated individuals.

Since semi-reincarnated individuals lack extra abilities, they often need to use doll substitutes when they want to go to dangerous places, which is commonplace in the world of Fa'an.

Billy arrived at a general store called 'Scattered'.

The grocery store is decorated in the style of a domed house from the 1870s, with spires and spiral balconies, and the large square wooden house is painted white.

The shopkeeper was a goblin who could play the piano. He stood at the entrance of the general store wearing an apron. He not only knew Billy, but they were old friends on Earth as well.

"Hey! Good morning, old friend Billy! How's your wife?"

"That's fantastic, all that's missing is for me to have a little devil with wings."

"Want some Earth stuff, or some locally made Fa'an stuff?" The goblin pulled back the curtain behind him.

The metal display case on the left showcases a large number of electronic devices, precision instruments, smart toys, and even some mecha models that men love.

On the right, however, was an old, worn-out ebony crate containing a gleaming staff, an old spellbook, a rusty shield, and several disposable magic orbs that rolled around.

"I need a core to power the doll substitute," Billis said. "A regular battery or a magical core, any energy source will do."

"That depends on the type of doll stand. The kind that was lively and energetic last time could only be kept alive for three hours by a regular battery."

"This is a big one, weighing about a ton."

"My God! You're going to do something earth-shattering again, aren't you?"

Billy glanced sideways at the black holy statue and the shelves filled with helmets on either side, indicating that there was something inside that caught his eye.

It was a gleaming glass ball containing clouds of flames. Within the clouds, there seemed to be slightly vibrating teeth, and lightning from the teeth spread towards the glass ball, but it was neither hot nor harmful.

The goblin wrapped the thing up with two leaves and brought it to Billy.

Before long, the lightning inside the glass ball formed a colorful spider web and remained motionless.

Billy took a liking to it and wanted to buy it.

The goblin hurriedly put on a pair of gold-rimmed glasses and used a magnifying glass to examine the glass ball, as if searching for something, exuding a proud and genuine sense of smugness.

“You have a good eye, Mr. Billis. This is the best magic core in town. It is said to come from the Leviathan coast and was pulled out from the tooth of a sea monster.”

"How many years can it be used?"

"That depends on the level. If it's an agent like you, I feel, uh, how many people are you prepared to deal with?"

"I was just joking, anyway, I didn't plan to use it for long."

Knowing that Billis was a true expert at destruction, the goblin didn't ask any questions and put the magic core into the packing box.

Billis paid the money and went home.

Lady Lisa has already arranged the stone figures.

Now, it looks like a mighty fortress, seemingly indestructible.

Upon seeing Billy return, Lisa immediately told him to lie down on the stand-in workbench, eager to give it a try.

Beris and the stone man lay on either side of each other, head to head.

As Lisa chanted a spell, the wrench and nut on the workbench moved on their own, implanting the core into the substitute body.

Billy began to feel unwell, his whole body felt heavy, and he closed his eyes, wanting to miss his wife even though she was right beside him.

Suddenly, he entered a foggy place, surrounded by sharp, clear metallic clanging sounds, each with the same intense tone filling his ears. He could neither ignore it nor look at it.

It was a huge magic matrix, exactly the same as what I saw on Earth eight years ago.

The matrix appeared repeatedly, sometimes near, sometimes far, and an indescribable thought entered his mind, like a sharp knife piercing his eardrum. Billy's head throbbed with pain, and he opened his eyes.

He looked at his hands, then his feet, and then at the motionless Billy lying beside him.

"A pretty good stunt double, but it's too bulky! Hey! Why is there a bird's nest under its armpit?"

The stone man's voice sounded like it was coming from a thick soup, and Lisa chuckled.

Her smile was so charming and cheerful, it easily aroused a man's desire.

Billy wanted to hug the lady, but being a clumsy stone man, he tripped and fell as soon as he stepped off the workbench, knocking off a small stone from his head.

"It looks quite brittle; I'll need some time to get used to it."

Lisa ran to the next room and found some red and green paint. First, she painted shoes on the stone man's feet, then his underwear and hat.

"Remember, don't make any big movements. Don't get beaten up like last time. My Gates of Hell will only be open for twenty minutes. Once the time is up, you will be teleported back regardless of whether you succeeded or not."

As Lisa spoke, she slammed her red heart tail hard on the floor, and a gate to hell appeared, billowing smoke and from which many little devils emerged.
